So I primarily game on my desktop which has pretty high specs, but I bought this as a work/travel laptop that can do some light gaming on the go:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TWHYTSQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-L3yDb3RQAPMG

It has very similar specs to the other one I linked you but with less storage. It uses the same chip as the other one I linked you for processing and graphics. It's an integrated graphics card, but it does more than enough for wow and I've played perfectly fine without any issues on it even in current retail raids from time to time. You won't run on max graphics, but just above MEDIUM graphics is fine for wow. It can also run most other PC games on at least the lowest low settings at a playable framerate.

You can also put more memory into that Lenovo model which is nice.

The one you originally linked is great for general gaming though. That would do much better for anything other than wow that might be more demanding.

But for wow either of these are great

Drink water mixed with chia seeeds and some amino-acid/electrolyte, and take a Ginseng supplement maybe two or three pills worth. Gatorade is too high sugar, but is an easy example of the idea of drinking liquids to replenish. Soaking the chia seeds makes them soak up and absorb easier and are good anti-. Caffiene pills are good too in moderation, in terms of how much stimulant will help - compared to drinking lots of coffee and having to pee more.

Red Bull is a short-term stimulant only leading to early burnout.

Another wonderful natural stimulant is Rhodiola which can be found with a combination of various green tea extracts/spinach leaf extract/caffiene/etc. The kind of pill you take with no crash and you don't even get jittery - just focused. Imagine taking a car trip and people are saying they need to stop for a 5 hour Energy and instead you give them this and they come back amazed that they

But the key is always have water on hand so you can be sipping away all the time, maybe snacking on salty high-protien snacks like trailmix to retain more water and not have insulin spikes where you might get carb-coma'd.

My one suggestion would be to prioritize your CPU over GPU. WoW is actually a more CPU intensive game.

Here are some suggestions from what I believe are some of the best value gaming laptops right now:

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-Overclockable-Aeroblade-PH315-51-78NP/dp/B07CTHLX8C/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=gaming+laptop&qid=1566063520&s=gateway&sr=8-3

Predator has a 1060, 144hz screen, SSD, and a super powerful i7 professor. This thing will run WoW like a beast.

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-i7-9750H-Keyboard-PH315-52-78VL/dp/B07QXLFLXT/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?keywords=gaming+laptop&qid=1566063607&s=gateway&sr=8-7

Newer generation of predator is gonna cost you a few extra bucks, but you get a 1660ti which is a big upgrade over a 1060 plus you get the newer gen i7 as well.

https://www.amazon.com/Gaming-TUF505-Notebook-NVIDIA-Windows/dp/B07T3G4N7Z/ref=mp_s_a_1_58?keywords=gaming+laptop&qid=1566063845&s=gateway&sr=8-58

Another great option that gives you a 1660ti, although the AMD processor doesn’t perform as well as an i7, it’s still a perfectly capable processor.

Lol good practice for what? I'm 29, working my dream job, married my best friend, and get to basically do what I want when I want. I have my own routines for sure, they just don't include making my bed.

Ain't no way I'm having cold water shot into my cornhole lol got it off amazon.

If something like a Naga looks intimidating and/or is out of your price range, I suggest the Logitech G402:

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Optical-Hyperion-buttons-910-004067/dp/B00L8VNQ88/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=logitech+g402&qid=1554997608&s=gateway&sr=8-2

Got one myself and it's fantastic. 2-5 distinct, comfortable buttons depending what you wanna do with them.

If you get one, the side two buttons work as expected, but for the others you need to get the Logitech gaming software and map the extra buttons to keyboard keys you wouldn't normally use in WoW - I think I use Y and T or something like that. Then bind those keys to actionbars in WoW, boom, you've got 4 extra ability buttons.

I personally use the side buttons for main attacks, and the top two for things I'd want fairly immediately, then use keyboard keys for the rest. For example on a 29 hunter I have Arcane and Aimed shots on the side depending on what I need to use at the time, then I have Distracting and Concussive Shots on the top two buttons as they come in handy in a pinch when trying to pull a mob off a healer or slow a mob down.

>about right for what I like. This will eventually be mounted higher for watching vids while grinding. I suggest getting something around the 24-27"

I highly recommend ASUS ROG lineup if you have the $$ for it. Just make sure you play with the monitor settings to get the best contrast/color out if it.

e.g. https://www.amazon.com/27-inch-Monitor-PG278Q-Response-Display/dp/B00MSOND8C/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=ASUS+ROG+Swift+1440P&qid=1557925338&s=electronics&sr=1-10

The sticky notes are a cool added "feature", getting to see somebody else's notes.

I also recently started collecting many of the books from used book/gaming and thrift stores. Payed between $3-5 CAD for most but never spent over $10, even for the large hardcover books. It's been fun finding and looking through them.

So far, I've managed to find:

World of Warcraft Atlas

World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Atlas

World of Warcraft: Beginners Guide

The Art Of The Trading Card Game: Volume One (I was really surprised to find this one!)

World of Warcraft Bestiary

World of Warcraft Dungeon Companion

The Burning Crusade Official Straegy GuideWrath of the Lich KingCataclysm

Looking forward to finding more good deals on some of the others.

Im rocking my Razer Naga Molten Edition now for over 6 Years (https://www.amazon.de/Razer-Maus-Naga-Molten-SE/dp/B004AM5RAW) and I have no issue whatsoever.

I really love this edition of the Naga, since newer version have thicker button, which feels really uncomfortable.

But to answer your question, its not neccessary at all, but imo its worth it.

Unless you can get your hand on an old naga, i recommend a logitech mouse

Absolute bare minimum, "you can play, but it won't be impressing anyone" I'd suggest something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RF1XD36/ref=psdc_13896615011_t1_B07P7S89NY

Mid-range, entry level gaming laptop:

(approximate) Best for your Budget that I could find:

These where the greatest investment and a digital scale but you don't need as scale just go by the Palm and Hand size portion chart but I'm counting micros so I use a scale to narrow down.

Red Dragon is bargain brand name imo.

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Lag-Free-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00E4MQODC

Would be better, has less buttons to be sure, but is gonna be a lot better too.

u/LindenRyuujin · 2 pointsr/classicwow

Thanks for the reply! So maybe something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sheets-Quality-Adhesive-Sticky-Printing/dp/B01N9PYOB6 I should have thought to look for self adhesive paper!

u/Lorgenz · 1 pointr/classicwow

You could try this https://www.amazon.com/erekomu-Gamepad-24-Buttons-Black-dux60bk/dp/B01NBKEGOX/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1542876211&sr=8-1&keywords=mmo+gamepad

the elecom mmo gamepad. I use it with joy to key myself. toughest part might be getting the camera to work. as long as the game supports camera movement mapping or allowing you to use the mouse to controll the camera with a rectical (like guildwars 2 etc) bear in mind you may want to adjust the deadzone on the control sticks if you experiance overcorrections.

It allows me to play mmos alot easier when i can work it in (wrist problems are a bitch) but it will take time to configure, if you need to use a gamepad dont let it intimidate you.

Logitech G602. 37 bucks. Has enough side buttons for a MMO. Can use the DPI switchs as buttons to. Has the longest lasting battery life I ever have seen in a mouse. You can use 1 battery or 2 to change the weight of the mouse for preference. Can also perform well in FPS games, unlike Naga's.

This might be exactly what you are looking for if you dont mind reading. Tells the story of the creation of the world, what happened 15000 years ago and up until around 60 years before vanilla https://www.amazon.com/World-Warcraft-Chronicle-BLIZZARD-ENTERTAINMENT/dp/1616558458

I just bought a laptop so I can play. Haven't played since TBC and laptop specs mean nothing to me so I bought a 1200 dollar gaming laptop hoping itll be good enough (from what specs I could read, should be absolutely fine and probably overkill).

Now I just wait for it in the mail. I'm excited to play but not happy I had to drop some coin.

Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop PC, 15.6" Full HD 144Hz 3ms IPS Display, Intel i7-9750H, GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, 16GB DDR4, 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD, Backlit Keyboard, PH315-52-78VL https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QXLFLXT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_MhTyDb64NA7MB

That's what I got if anyone has any input.
