My eyes are extremely sensitive and will burn with just about any solution out there.

My previous method for making them bearable was to rinse them thoroughly with saline solution which helped a lot but they still would leave my eyes dry and irritated.

Ultimately is what I'm using now is the peroxide solution with the case included and rinsing them in saline before I out them in.

Another huge thing that helped a ton was to use an applicator like this one:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00012FJ9O/
I only paid like $5 for it so it might be worth waiting to find another or cheaper elsewhere.

That said the above applicator is awesome. I think finger oils and fingerprints would further cause me issues but since using this I haven't had but maybe 10% of the issues I had originally. I still remove them by hand but once they are done cleaning I use the applicator to handle them for rinsing and putting them in. Tbh putting them in is not longer a 50/50 shot of missing its always 100% .

Your condition maybe more serious but for my eyes the above worked for me best. Hope this helps.

The feeling of something being in your eye goes away with time. If I recall correctly, the inside of your eyelid gradually changes its shape to better accommodate your contacts.

I never struggled to put them in, though I have to hold my eye open with one hand and put them in with the other.

When I first got contacts, I did struggle to take them out. This was because I was moving the contacts over to the whites of my eye and basically trying to use my fingernail to slide under the contacts and lift them (ouch, don't do that).

It's easier to take them out when both your contacts and hands are dry, so the contacts stick to your fingers. You can just pinch them out that way.

Or it might be easier to get one of these, since you mentioned you have acrylic fingernails (now you don't have to trim them down).

Ah last thing I could suggest trying is one of those applicator tools? Idk if you're from UK but here's one on Amazon UK.
