>ou are going cheapest, Samsung Odyssey (Odyssey+ if you wanna spend a bit more), around $300 for the whole set. If you’ve got money to spend, go for the Vive. If you would like the Knuckles controllers, they’re compatible with the Vive base stations. If you’re a stickler for wanting the best display and newest stuff, you could spend the whole $1000 for the Index.

Yes! I am going the cheapest! Thanks again for the information. You have a lot of knowledge :) How about

Oculus Quest All-in-one VR Gaming Headset – 64GB?

I checked the Amazon Black Friday and, it seems a good deal? However, I am not sure I can play the Pavlov VR?

I have a Logitech G930 and I love it!

The sound is great, and the mic is noise cancelling. It's got some great controls on the side that let you easily change volumes, or bind to game-specific actions. I picked it up on sale for $65 at Staples with a coupon. Highly recommended!

If you need something with the mic functionality, that cuts your options in half. If you're only using it for gaming and you're not an audiophile, just search in the $50-100 price range and make sure above all else that the reviews say they're comfortable. If you're pouring hours into a video game, you don't want a headache after the first thirty minutes because they don't fit well. See if any friends have closed ear (noise-cancelling) headphones, and be sure to try open-ear as well. I personally prefer open-ear any day of the week, but everyone has their own preferences.

Personally, I use Razer Carcharias and they've been comfortable and durable as can be. The sound is meh, but I was on a budget when I bought them. If I had the choice to do it over again, I'd get a set of audiophile headphones, maybe Senny 650's or something. If I had the same $80 budget, though, I'd re-buy the Razer in a heartbeat.

TL;DR: Make sure they're comfortable, pick a price point, and decide between open-ear and noise-cancelling.

The best advice that I can give you right now is that crouching is not as good as it was in CS 1.6. It was way faster and reset the crosshair faster. If you are in a close engagement just do a quick stop and aim for the head. Don't just smash the crouch button.

I have seen many mad players in GO because of this.

edit: some more tips.

Make sure you have a good headset or some in ear headphones. You can listen through walls just like in CS:S and this will help you a bunch on maps like office, dust, and nuke. You can have the jump on people that are just blindly running though the map trying to get kills.

a $5 pair of in ear headphones will give you this ablility. I have an old pair of Shure 315's that I use. headphones I have

and a nice clip on mic.

If you can manage to get one of these while theyre on sale its better bang for your buck than what your friend is selling. Of course thats assuming compatability

I use these headphones/mic:

Best I have ever used. I have also confirmed that 5.1 surround does work with these headphones and CS:GO

Don't buy into the whole "gaming headset" craze. A lot of it is overpriced garbage. Find a pair of good quality headphones and then buy this mic to go with it.

I use this logitech keyboard on PC. Its USB, its cheap, its basic and it functions well.

Try using one of these: Startech DP2HDMI DisplayPort to HDMI Video Adapter Converter

I can't guarantee you that it will work for you, but this is the exact item we use at work (I'm in IT) on our computers' DisplayPort connection to connect to HDMI monitors. I would imagine it would work from your HDMI out card to the DisplayPort connection on the monitor.

I've read that 120hz only works with HDMI 1.4, and the description of the item doesn't say anything about that. Could I use this http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Premium-DisplayPort-Black/dp/B004C9M7UG/ref=pd_sim_e_8 instead? Connect the DVI Dual link to my GPU and the DisplayPort to the monitor. Would that do the trick?
