So I've always liked to go barefoot when possible, but a few years ago I decided to give 'barefoot style' a serious try, inspired partially by Cody Lundin.

So one of the things I noticed was that I'd build up some pretty impressive callous on parts of my feet which is good because it makes walking on rough terrain like driveway gravel easier to handle but eventually those callouses get too thick and begin to crack and then that causes trouble.

The solution I found was to sand the callouses down once or twice a month. Tried a variety of methods and the best method I found was to use a high speed rotary tool with a sanding attachment, like a Dremel.

Works well enough that once while visiting my mother, she saw me using it and gave it a try then went and bought her own so she can give herself and her husband pedicures every so often.

Also, at least once a week or after runs you should boil a cup of water, add a dash of soap and then use a heavy terrycloth washcloth to really scrub your feet, make sure to exfoliate any dead skin.

Also take off your socks as often as you can, so your feet don't stay sweaty/wet.

Doing those things may clear up your issues, it works for me.

Consider getting a dash cam or two as well and pointing them out of your car windows in the direction of potential keying or tire slashing view locations. Some of them are super tiny (one inch cube or even smaller if you are willing to pay more), inconspicuous, and can be attached via an internal magnet to inconspicuous locations inside of your car. You can put a piece of dark tape over the flashing LED that indicates it is on. It will just sit and record all the things going on around your car in whatever direction you point it and you can download the video later.

If you go this route, which if I were in your situation I would do myself, make sure you attach the cameras somewhere other than at work or your home. Perhaps you could use a trusted friend's garage or somewhere else where you are convinced the culprit wont notice you installing them (installation being as quick as sticking it to a piece of metal inside your car and pressing the button depending on the brand you get).

My partner has this one - a Polaroid Cube that is particularly tiny and inconspicuous but apparently it can only store about an hour or so worth of video. You might want to research other options if you wanted to go this route to be sure that it can record overnight or during whatever time frame the vandalism seems to be taking place.

Also, it goes without saying to keep ALL of the records you have currently of contact thus far. Document everything that happens including the day and time to the best of your ability. Keep even better documentation going forward so that if they are able to catch the person(s) doing this, there can be a whole slew of charges brought upon them for their numerous activities against you.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. I wish I had better advice beyond what everyone has been offering thus far. Stay safe!

I want to echo everyone here and reiterate that you have NOTHING to feel guilty about or apologize for. Even through his texts, it's clear this man was trying to manipulate you. He was (very probably) lying and trying to guilt you into doing things you were clearly uncomfortable with.

Most importantly, do NOT feel bad for not recognizing this. Horrible people like this man will intentionally pick out those who are too young/too inexperienced to recognize his filth. You listened to your gut and that makes you so impressively strong and brave! Good for you. Can't say that enough. Good for you!

Also forget anyone who says you acted like you were interested. You did not lead him on in ANY sense. Human decency does not imply sexual interest.

Last thing, you absolutely need to read a book called The Gift of Fear. I know you're incredibly busy with school and your job but this is the single greatest book every woman of our generation should read. My mom made me read it before I left for college and, as a naive, young, and sweet girl like yourself, it was life-changing. Please make time for this book.

Hi. I agree with all the other posts about looking into monitoring for evidence to stop the stalker using the police.

The only thing I'd add is that everyone seems to have overlooked your personal safety here. Hopefully one of these will be near you.

http://www.rad-systems.com/program_md.html

And I'd also look into to carrying something for your personal safety. Something like this would give you a good bang for your buck.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002E6RERU/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1422728130&sr=8-1&keywords=pepper+spray&dpPl=1&dpID=41NpA2YzKGL&ref=plSrch&pi=AC_SY200_QL40

I don't mean to scare you, but as stated before, you really can't predict crazy and being prepared is better than being sorry.

Best of luck.

I'm assuming you've read Nelly Dean? I thought it did a good job! And I haven't seen all the movie versions but I do love the Tom Hardy one haha

  1. I'm ex law enforcement, and I worked in Legal for over 15 years. You can try filing a police report, but he hasn't broken any laws. So there is nothing they can do for you.

  2. Your primary supervisor and your HR department are who you should notify. This should be done in writing, either by email or by typed letter.

In this report you should include:

  • Times and date of contact.

  • What was said, verbatim. Type out clearly and concisely what was said. Write it in a format that it easy to read/follow.

  • If possible, include hard copies of the text conversation.

  • Retain copies of everything you give them.

Purchase a notebook. A lot will happen, many conversations, and so-on. You will never keep it all straight in your memory.

  • Record the name, job title, and their relation to you, of each person you give documents to.

  • List what documents you give to who, and the date and time you did so.

  • Keep detailed notes of any discussions with anyone regarding this. HR, supervisors, dept. managers, coworkers. (Make these notes after the meetings/conversations. Not in front people while it's taking place.)

  • Never, never give that notebook to anyone except your attorney. It may sound ridiculous, but if you willing relinquish control/possession of that book, they can keep it. (And yes, there is case precedence for this.) If it comes down to supplying something, make photo copies, and redact from them anything not pertinent to what your providing.

  • Do not tell anyone but your attorney about the notebook.

  • Do not speak to this person in any way. If he approaches you, leave. If he follows you, go to a manager's or HR office. Keep notes of the time and date, and the outcome.

  • A little too late for this one: But never tell anyone what your going to do. You're giving them your game plan. I guarantee you this guy is working on a story, and it's going to make all of this your doing. And believe it or not it often works, or at least muddies the waters enough that they'll do nothing.

This may seem like a lot of work and trouble to go through. It is. But it's nothing compared to the stress and nightmare you could go through if you don't.

Haha well there is actually an amazing guide called "The Whole Lesbian Sex Book" http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1573441996/ref=redir_mdp_mobile

Talks about every which way to please a woman. Very informative read.

So I started a summer job at an Amazon warehouse and shipped a book titled "Why Men Love Bitches" the other day. Apparently this shit goes both ways and people believe it enough to write and read books about it. So I'm not surprised if OP's creep saw a random video and was inspired.

I dated this guy, too. Or his astral twin or something.

It's called Borderline Personality Disorder. Everything is black or white. The one they love is an angel sent from heaven. And then, out of the blue, for no reason whatsoever, the one they love is suddenly a demon sent straight from hell. I'm glad you got away. Never engage him again.

Is that a good stun gun? I like that it'll go on my keys. But is ti strong enough? I don't know enough about stun guns.

The one I have is pretty discreet but doesn’t have a chargeable battery.

I found this one: https://www.amazon.com/0801S-Detection-G-Sensor-Capacitor-Upgraded/dp/B01MEDLT3S

It looks pretty small and does have a chargeable battery. It’s also fairly affordable (appears to be on sale right now for $59 for prime members).

Here, I haven't read it but I saw some MTV documentary like 15 years ago with this Mystery fuckwit in it.

In addition to a drinking game, I feel like there should also be a Creepy Indian Guy on the Internet Magnetic Poetry Kit.

I gave this advice to someone here the other day and I'll repeat it to you. You need to read "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin DeBecker. It is truly the most important book I've ever read. He goes over situations similar to this and how to interact with people who set off warning bells.

The biggest advice I can give you is to NOT respond to him for any reason. If he sends you 40 messages and then you respond thinking he'll go away, all you're teaching him is that it costs him 41 tries to get your attention.

I'm glad you contacted the mutual friends, but if you feel you can't trust them to understand how serious it is, unfriend them. He will manipulate people to get info.

Here is a link to the book: https://smile.amazon.com/Other-Survival-Signals-Protect-Violence/dp/0440508835/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1467951740&sr=8-1&keywords=gift+of+fear+by+gavin+debecker

I'm certain this guy is wearing a Three Wolf Moon shirt.

u/TheBrontosaurus · 6 pointsr/creepyPMs

I would suggest talking to the cops if he’s showing up at your house. One instance won’t be enough for a restraining order but every bit of evidence helps. You can buy alarms that attach to windows and doors that will go off if it’s opened for about $10

u/miz_dwarfstar · 3 pointsr/creepyPMs

Stop replying. No matter how many messages he sends you or how nasty they get, don't reply. Every time you respond you encourage him to keep coming at you with more. Even saying "I don't want to talk to you" is talking to him, and it's giving him the interaction he feeds off of. Cut him off and starve him. Document everything he sends you and file a report with the police. Also, find a copy of The Gift of Fear. It may help you.
