So when it comes to buying a mouse it is really all about your play style and feel. If you like to palm the mouse meaning that your whole hand is round the mouse a good mouse is the Razer Deathadder If you like the claw grip using mostly only your finger tips than I would recommend the Logitech G Pro I personally now use this mouse but used the Deathadder for a number of years. Both mice have over a 12,000 dpi setting once you install the software you can adjust as you please, but tbh most likely you will play between 200-900 dpi and 1.2-3.2 sensitivity in game. All of this is preference and you will figure out over a long period of time playing key board again is all preference it depends if you like silent of mechanical Razer Cynosa is a very nice silent one in your price range, for mechanical I have owned a lot of them and tbh the one I use is a off brand one I bought from my local Walmart and and I like it more than any high dollar ones I have owned so you might want to look there. Also you will need a nice mouse pad I have and will probably continue to use for years the razer goliaths speed it is cloth and I like it, there are also hard pads many people I know use and enjoy the Corsait MM8800 but again this is all up to preference. Last thing if you are trying to play at any high lvl of competition you might want to look into a 144hz monitor if your computer can run what ever game you are playing over about 200fps I have Acer 24inch 144hz the price is really good and makes a huge difference. well that is about all I can think about I wish you the best of luck and above all just have fun.

Hello,

I kinda had a problem like this a while ago, and it took me quite some time to determine what was going on, which, as it turns out, wasn't related to Steam or CSGO. Despite what others have said, for me it was a hardware (or firmware) issue. Anyway, here's what I figured out...

I run a Wifi setup because where I'm located I am not physically close to my router for LAN. My problem was similar to yours in so much that attempting to download updates would either corrupt the game, or end up with saying the download was corrupt. In any case, it turned out to be my primary WLAN card. To fix the situation, I swapped over to my secondary WLAN card and, go figure, update downloads started working just fine again with no corruptions of any kind. Not entirely sure what the issue is, considering the primary card works just fine for every other application, but this is the root of the problem, so changing up your cards is your best bet. If you don't have more than one, or if you use LAN vs WLAN, here's what I'd suggest you do...

For WLAN setup:

  • First off, try using LAN over WLAN if feasible. If not, keep reading...
  • Change to a different wireless card. If you don't have one, buy another cheap one from Amazon. [This] (http://www.amazon.com/Panda-Wireless-PAU06-300Mbps-Adapter/dp/B00JDVRCI0/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1463330990&sr=1-6&keywords=usb+wireless+adapter) USB wireless adapter works just fine. I don't recommend things I haven't used myself.
  • With the two cards installed (once you have two), make sure you are using the new one.
  • Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings > Right click on the OLD adapter > Disable > Now make sure you can connect with the new adapter > Restart Steam and try downloading updates again

For LAN setup (physical cable from router to PC):

  • Given that most computer only have one ethernet port, you options are limited.
  • Try wireless like above, recommendation on wireless adapter still stands.
  • Try a USB ethernet adapter. In this case, [this] (http://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Ethernet-Network-Adapter-Chromebook/dp/B00484IEJS?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00) one should do just fine. I use it for my Chromebook in areas with only LAN access.
  • With the USB adapter installed, make sure you are using it.
  • Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings > Right click your built in LAN port > Disable > Now make sure you can connect with the new adapter > Restart Steam and try downloading updates again

If none of that works, the only other option I'd suggest to you that I didn't see listed here already is changing your download region in Steam.

  • Go to Steam > Settings > Download > Download Region > Change this to any region WELL AWAY from your current one, which is typically the one closest to you.
  • After change, restart Steam and try downloads again.

The region change did not work for me, but did for many others, so that's the only reason why I mention it. In any case good luck!

Hello! I am a huge fan of the SteelSeries products, but had to replace mine recently due to it dropping clicks a little to frequently for my liking. I switched over to the Razer Deathadder Chroma, and have been extremely happy with it! Here's a link to it on amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/Razer-DeathAdder-Chroma-Multi-Color-Ergonomic/dp/B00MYTSDU4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1458700387&sr=8-2&keywords=razer+mouse

Another good one is the SteelSeries Rival 700

I hope this helps!

When I was looking for a mic, my tech friend sent me towards the Audio Technica ATR2500 because he said it was basically as good if not better than the 2020, but far cheaper.

Been using it for 3-4 years now and the audio quality is quite good. I'm always getting compliments on it. (The deep voice and Australian accent probably helps too.)

They sell it on Amazon and It's on sale pretty frequently.

I get what you mean, but I still think there is many ways to practice aim, if your problem is shooting people's heads at mid/long range you should maybe try practicing your tracking.
Btw this guy that shows his own aim training, he is playing in ESEA Main with AimHigh

If your wireless mouse fucks up sometimes, you can get a mouse with a wire but get a mouse bungee

I am LE currently and I believe you can always improve aim to a point where 1 taps are reasonably easy. Its not about having the most incredible aim (which does help win but you can win without amazing aim), its about good decisions.

This one is good, I’ve had it for a year now and it works great. It has two programmable thumb buttons and a dpi switch. Black version should be available somewhere if you want.

I'm pretty sure you can buy CSGO themed knives on Amazon/AliExpress, I'll see if I can find a link

Yep, found them

Cheap site

I've seen wartech csgo knife listings on ebay and there's a couple on amazon like these bayonets. They're not super high quality but they're also pretty cheap so it evens it out in my books.

This is either your 'Gain' set too high, or a grounding power issue to your computer/audio interface. I've personally had to buy a power conditioner to fix this issue. Something like this. You should also check to confirm you're actually using the SM and not a built-in mic or webcam mic. You may also get more help by posting this to /r/audioengineering/ as it's not much of a CSGO issue as much as an audio issue.

Do you use HDMI or display port or something else?

If HDMI, then this cable from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-USB-C-Supporting-Black/dp/B073H9RG9T ($16.99)
This external graphics card enclosure: https://www.amazon.com/Sonnet-Breakaway-Thunderbolt-Expansion-GPU-350W-TB3Z/dp/B072L9QTZT/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=External+Graphics+card+enclosure&qid=1557706012&s=electronics&sr=1-4 ($199.00)
This graphics card (csgo doesn't need good graphics just that you don't use intel hd graphics): https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-DisplayPort-128-bit-ZT-P10510A-10L/dp/B01M4MIU94/ref=sr_1_21?keywords=External%2Bgraphics%2Bcard&qid=1557705855&s=gateway&sr=8-21&th=1 ($139.99)

Total cost: $355.98 + shipping

Since you own a Mac you are rich and therefore this isn't a problem.

Looks likes it's the same price on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-G2460PF-Response-Adustable-Speakers/dp/B01BV1XBEI

Also since its Easter and the weekend I won't be able to get anything from Amazon until Wednesday.
