Former art major here! I graduated with an arts degree (not from csuf, but all the same thing haha) and what I can honestly say is that it doesn't matter what you have a degree in. Creative skills are very high in demand in TONS of industries. The real issue is the mindset "artists" have. The unfortunate truth of the matter is it's hard to survive as an artist alone, but if you're business-minded you can do just about anything with your art and creative skills!
If you enjoy your major, stick with it. But while you're still in school look for internships and jobs where you can take your skills and knowledge as an artist and turn it into a paycheck.
There's a book I think you might really like, also by someone who got a fine arts degree but now makes a lot of money and like writes for Broadway on the side i think lol, here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YL448KZ/ I think it'll help you expand your perspective on how to be employable with an arts degree
This one is regarded as one of the better ones for basic usage. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F4ZG68A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It has a 1080p screen, and for something in this price range, it's kind of rare. If you don't care about 1080p you could get a HP stream for under 200.
You could also buy a thinkpad laptop off ebay for about $100 but bear in my mind you will have to install you own OS, like linux. Usually they will come with 2gb of ram which the bare minimum i think for basic stuff.
Now of course I am just suggesting the cheaper options, there are better ones used or refurbished.
Here are two threads that might be of interest. https://www.reddit.com/r/SuggestALaptop/comments/5sh111/2017_best_laptop_recommendations_guide_for/

You honestly don't need the textbook. It explains everything you learn in class in a different way that is easier to understand, but I never opened it after the first day. Trust me when I say I am terrible at math as well. This class requires basic knowledge of math and nothing more than that. Here is the link for SI that will be updated once the new semester starts. http://www.fullerton.edu/si/schedule/ If you really feel you need the textbook, here is the link to that as well. https://www.amazon.com/Statistics-People-Think-Salkind-Without/dp/1452277710 Out of curiosity, what time are you taking the class?
I watched the DBC LARP video and I can tell you that this is not LARP it is Battle Gaming (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_gaming). Looks like you were all having fun. It also looks like a new group with not much experience. You might want to check out the book on the subject (http://www.amazon.com/Battle-Gaming-New-American-Sport/dp/0984483403).
I got one. This is the model. Are you still interested?

I've found the same company/maker at Costco as well but it was in a different container.
It should be this one
ISBN-13: 978-1-133-11228-0
The math dept uses a custom version with black cover (but I think the content is the same). 150A covers chapters 1-6.
The name is Essential Calculus: Early Transcendentals, Custom Edition 2E, Stewart
Also, your professor probably will use Webassign.

I've narrowed it down to 3 laptops, could you give me some insight?

It's been about a day. I hope that you cancelled your debit/credit cards.
Edit:
Funny story. I once lost my wallet too. I found it a month later after finishing up a final exam. My old backpack was weird,
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001EMM10/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Look at the picture. You see those clips? My wallet was in that layer. I checked all over my backpack when looking for my wallet except that part. I was surprised that it was still there after a month of losing it. I was out of state at the time and sucked because I had no ID. I was surprised that it never fell off.
