My mother bought one before me, so I had tasted the food "fried" with it before buying one. I have this model, but I don't think that it exists in the US. It's not the same model or brand as hers (she lives in another country), but mine and hers have so many similar elements that I'm sure that it's the same thing but with a different exterior shell.

The principle behind all air fryers is the same: superheat the air and blast it on the food. What changes from model to model (other than build quality) is the power (higher is better) and the frying compartment. Nowadays you have some like this one. More expensive, but more versatile and it also works as an oven.

About the taste of the food: despite all the ads, don't expect it to be the same thing as deep frying. The food is a lot more crunchy and tasty than frozen fried stuff heated with a convection oven, and you can do some stuff that end up too greasy with with deep frying (like the ribs), but it's not the same thing as deep frying - the oil entering the food makes a difference.

For me it was worth it. The food ends up healthier than deep frying, but still good and crunchy enough (adding flour really helps with the crunchiness). It's a good alternative if you want to lose some weight and / or reduce the amount of fat that you are eating, but don't want to eat chicken breasts every single day.

I am not TB (obviously), but I do collect toys and have considered getting an Amiibo just so I could have a little desk Kirby- and I don't even have a WiiU. That said, it's entirely fair to disparage an Amiibo for their relatively small price to size comparison or for the quality of the plastic.

A Kirby Amiibo is $13, and a couple inches tall. By contrast, you can get a 5" plush Kirby for $12, a whole stack of Kirbies for $30, or a really nice poseable Kirby with different hats and weapons for $40. And that's just a quick search on Amazon- there's no telling what sort of deals you could get at eBay or a comic con. So, I think it's fair to say the value of Amiibos is somewhat inflated due to branding and mass production. Of course, lines that haven't been heavily merched, such as Shovel Knight or Earthbound, are significantly more valuable to collectors.

So, what does this mean? Nothing, really. I just wanted to talk about toys and look up Kirby on Amazon.

I don't think at all that a 600$ chair is that expensive for a chair. Just think about how many hours you'll be using that thing. If you work from home it's completely worth it.

If we where to only use it one year and only when on working time with a regular 40hour work week you'd get: 52 * 40 = 14600 hours. 624$(the chair TB recomended) / 14600 is just a 4.2 cents per hour of use for good support and personal health while in that same time making a bit more money than you spend.

Looks like this thing. I'd assume that it is just a "keyboard" and you can bind the individual buttons to xsplit shortcuts. (And apparently do custom icons, which is pretty cool.)

As an alternative you or TB could try a physical SATA switch like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/ORICO-Power-Switch-5-25-HD-PW6101/dp/B0180PP0HY/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1468257355&sr=8-13&keywords=sata+switch

It is a hardware switch which makes it possible to just install the two operating systems on different drives and then switch between the two by just physically cutting the power of the SSDs with the operating system you don't wanna use prior to booting. The downside is, of course that it only supports SATA devices - so it's not for high speed PCIE or NVME drives. Also I don't know how reliable this method is, cause I don't have the chance to test something like this myself. Just a possibility to propably look into.

Edit: Here's another option with a little bit more functionality: http://www.cooldrives.com/index.php/4posaiisw3ba.html#

TB and Jessie normally recommend the Samson C01U.

Here it is on its own: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HXE4BYW

He may have meant one of these kits:

Think they are on about this https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Samson-Technologies-SAC01UTBCW-Pro-Podcast/dp/B00L5SXZXK
I own the mic itself and for the price its a good choice.

If you read this TB, I have a solution for your handheld pc problem, it may not be great but its the closest I could find, get a windows surface, or any other windows tablet, and one of these bluetooth controllers https://www.amazon.com/BEBONCOOL-Bluetooth-Controller-Android-Emulator/dp/B01CSEB1HQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494570724&sr=8-1&keywords=telescopic+controller It may be a little 'makeshift' of a solution, but its a controller you can slap on any tablet or phone with bluetooth

I searched for it afterwards too (believe Jesse said he recommends a starter kit from amazon every time someone asks). Nothing perfectly matched what he was talking about the Samson c01u Pro has a few little kits if you search that on amazon. This one seems complete and is the closest to the price he said

I believe he got the Ergohuman. Here is a link to the amazon page of his chair I think.
https://www.amazon.com/Ergohuman-Swivel-Chair-Headrest-Chrome/dp/B002LK1YNO

Herman Miller? They are expensive chairs though.

Or it might have been an Ergohuman

u/HaldirAros · 5 pointsr/cynicalbritofficial

If I remember correctly TB said that the "gaming" chairs are mostly shot for your back.
During one podcast he mentioned that Genna got him Ergohuman chair. (this one I think: https://www.amazon.com/Ergohuman-Swivel-Chair-Headrest-Chrome/dp/B002LK1YNO ) but they are expensive . Dogger and Strippin got the same ones.
