It's seriously amazing, great as a childrens book but adults will definitely enjoy it aswell. Here, check out the editorial reviews. It's great.

well, using actual language trainer is getting boring and annoying after a while. if you enjoy what you read/hear/watch the effect of learning increases in my opinion. so any good book or movie you enjoy in english you should try in german.

i enjoyed Herr Lehman pretty much, very funny written (kinda), also the audiobook should be nice.

german bands hmm good one, depends on what you like but check here, maybe there is something you like on there but as far as i know not all of these bands are singing in german only. (check out Frittenbude, nice stuff)

Womit damals alles anfing: der Bericht des "Club of Rome" zu den Grenzen des Wachstums von 1972. Worum gehts? Sie waren die ersten, die simuliert haben, wie bei verschiedenen Szenarien des Ressourcenverbrauchs diese uns ausgehen. Manche Szenarien waren übertrieben, zum Beispiel konnten sie nicht wissen, wie viele neue Vorkommen erschlossen werden, aber insgesamt war es eine bahnbrechende Erkenntnis.

>Given business as usual, i.e., no changes to historical growth trends, the limits to growth on earth would become evident by 2072, leading to "sudden and uncontrollable decline in both population and industrial capacity".

Das Teilgebiet der ökologischen Ökonomik innerhalb der VWL beschäftigt sich schon seit langem mit Fragen der Nachhaltigkeit, des Ressourcenverbrauchs und den Möglichkeiten, diesen zu verringern, um in Einklang mit der Biosphäre zu stehen. Erklärung geklaut von der großartigen Seite exploring-economics.org:

>Die Kernidee der Ökologischen Ökonomik besteht in der Einsicht, dass wirtschaftliche Aktivität mit absoluten Grenzen konfrontiert ist. Diese Grenzen sind nicht vollkommen festgelegt, sie werden von (fixen) „planetaren Grenzen“ (Rockström et al. 2009) und (dynamischen) sozialen Faktoren, bspw. Werten, Institutionen etc. gemeinsam determiniert. Die Wirtschaft wird als ein Subsystem der größeren, umfassenden Systeme Gesellschaft und Biosphäre gesehen. Die Grundlage dieser Perspektive, und gleichwohl deren historische Basis, ist die Betonung der Relevanz der Gesetze der Thermodynamik für die Wirtschaftswissenschaft – ein klassisches Beispiel und Ursprung dieser Sicht ist Nicholas Georgescu-Roegens Buch The Entropy Law and the Economic Process (1971). Große Bedeutung in ökologisch-ökonomischen Analysen haben des Weiteren Fragen von Institutionen, Machtverhältnissen, Unsicherheit und Unwissen. In diesem Kontext werden Wechselwirkungen zwischen Wirtschaft, Gesellschaft und natürlicher Umwelt analysiert, mit dem Ziel einer Transformation hin zu (mehr) Nachhaltigkeit.

Gut ist auch dieses kurze Paper von einem der Pioniere der PWÖ, Herman Daly.

Ein gut verständliches Buch zum Einstieg in den Themenkomplex Globale Nachhaltigkeit/ Postwachstum/ Ökologie gibt das Buch "Wohlstand ohne Wachstum" von Prof. Tim Jackson. Er hat diesen Aufruf mit unterschrieben und ist seit Jahren Wortführer in der internationalen Bewegung zu mehr Nachhaltigkeit.

Wer noch ein bisschen mehr Verbindung zu soziologischer Theorie haben möchte, hier ein interessantes Paper von Rosa, Dörre, Lessenich (2017)

>In what follows, we want to take a closer look at the mechanisms and
consequences of this mode of social reproduction. It is most obvious in
the logic of capitalist economies. Without expansion, innovation and
accumulation, companies close down, jobs are lost, and, by consequence,
public revenues decrease and expenditures increase, and the ensuing
monetary and fiscal crisis can put political legitimation at risk, too. [...] Thus, capitalist economies do not need growth or innovation
to achieve some new goal or progressive state, but just in order to
keep the status quo and to reproduce their structure. Without it, they lose
their economic competitiveness and their social stability.

>Capitalism, therefore, does not simply denote a type of society that
relies on the market as a mechanism of coordination, on the self-valorization
of value or on bureaucratic rationalization. Capitalist systems in
all varieties resemble a bicycle that gains in stability with the speed of its

Do¨ rre, 2009, 2013), by cumulative social, technological and cultural

the real problem of the modern mode of stabilization is not so much its
dynamic character but its escalatory tendency. For a non-dynamic social
formation in the sense of a ‘static’ or ‘stationary’ society (that actively

from the perspective of late modern societies, let alone from the
normative background of the ‘project of modernity’. Hence, what is
needed is not a social formation that refuses on principle to grow,
expand or innovate (which would be sheer madness in the face of the
scarcity that still persists in many parts of the Global South, or in face of
the desirability of medical advances or innovations in the field of sustainable
technologies, etc.). However, what we are looking for are the
contours of a society that does not need to grow, augment and innovate
just to maintain the status quo or to secure its structural reproduction.

from a mandatory necessity into a socioeconomic possibility by
‘re-embedding’ the economy within the cultural and political world. This, in turn, requires the realization of new forms of economic

to have a say in strategic investments as well as in the forms and ends of
production (and consumption). [...] Secondly, what is needed is a complete overhaul of the social policies

stabilization is inconceivable as long as the social, political and cultural
yardstick for well-being and prosperity remains tied to the manifestations
of quantitative and economic growth and of increases in the range of
options and opportunities.

TL;DR: Es geht nicht um die "Abschaffung" von Wirtschaftswachstum, sondern um eine Transformation gesellschaftlicher Ziele, hin zu einem Leben, das im Einklang mit den endlichen Ressourcen unserer Welt steht. Das ist mit dem aktuellen System nicht möglich.

Ich habe vor ca. einem Jahr bei meinem Vater im Geschäft zufällig mit einem PILOT BPS-GP <XB> geschrieben und benutze seither nur noch diese (allerdings in blau) für alles, was so an Handschreibarbeiten anfällt. Liegt super in der Hand, schreibt sich mit auch nur wenig Druck und vermittelt allgemein einfach ein super Schreibgefühl.

Kann nur zustimmen, aber meinst du nicht dass du deine Tastatur mal sauber machen solltest, vor allem zwischen deine V und B? 🧹 Dafür gibt es extra Staubsauger. 💓 Die sind echt super. Das hat mein Leben vollkommen verändert!

They weren't as good as it sounds. Too much flavour/spice, tasted a lot like pure mustard (pinging /u/saeleth for some reasons). Also those were a seasonal thing for the last soccer worldcup. It covers other subjects too in a meandering back and forth, but it makes for very interesting reading.
