I invested in a pizza bag and a better food bag. Between them, I can take almost everything and both restaurants and customers really appreciate them.

New Star 50097 Insulated Pizza Delivery Bag, 20 by 20 by 5-Inch, Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009LOZKWE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-.EEBbKZ59GD8

And

Winco BGDV-12 Delivery Bag, 12-Inch by 12-Inch by 12-Inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000UBBCLA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_2aFEBbP2DK7Q1

There's a lot of people on here that think spending your own money on stuff like this is a waste, but to me it's more professional. The pizza bag is great for everything also. Asian restaurants most of the time have them in boxes and you can just slide them in. If you get a larger bag, you can stand the pizza one on end and keep them warm. Cheap and multi use. Oh, it also carries pizzas. Two or three stacked high.

If you signed up for more then one gig, you should have multiple bags and can just use them too. Walmart has some cheap big thermal bags also.

I have a SUPER bright 1000 LUMEN flashlight I keep to help with this situation...helps tremendously for people who don’t have a
Porch light.

Here’s the one I have

That one looks pretty solid and 10 bucks is a good price. I got this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IDNCYSW/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it’s really good for big orders, a little more expensive though...

DD bag is crap. I bought that one from amazon and I'm pretty satisfied!

I used to deliver for GrubHub.. they sent me a big red food service bag and a pizza bag. I think this is the one:

https://www.amazon.com/Insulated-Food-Delivery-Bag-Carrier/dp/B00YVDP4KS/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1539746888&sr=8-9&keywords=food+service+bag

It has lasted me years.. I really like using the pizza bag too for pizza. Customers have made comments on it and I truly believe it helps my rating using a pro level bag.

I usually decline/unassign orders with alot of drinks. Just out of annoyance/lazyness.

If you want to deal with them, you could invest in a good drink carrier. Something like this would probably work well.

This week was slow for me, but really nice weather in the Dallas area will do that. I made around $1000 before gas on 42 hours. I run multiple apps as well, but DoorDash and postmates are my main two.
I used to spend a lot on Red Bull’s, but recently ordered some of these no crash caffeine pills. Saved me a lot this week and seem smoother and last longer then Red Bull’s or coffee..

I've used these off Amazon for forever. They have have straps on top and side so you can carry stuff in either orientation.

As a paramedic and firefighter. I fucking agree. I feel your plight brothers and sisters. PS: buy this [Cigarette Lighter DC Flashlight for $20 on amazon] (https://www.amazon.com/Brinkmann-800-2705-0-Million-Spotlight-Cigarette/dp/B0046ODC6K/ref=sr_1_13?hvadid=78615134045258&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&keywords=cigarette+lighter+spotlight&qid=1565061538&s=gateway&sr=8-13) It's $20, lots of delivery drivers use a maglight, this is a lot more powerful and will light up the front of a house/mailbox. Also look for the curbside numbers.

My fav bags came from Amazon in similar ways:

They can be. I bought this one on amazon. It was only $59 and good for 5000 hours of use.

I decided to be a little extra and actually get a decent flashlight. This thing is fantastic for $40 (I already had 18650 cells to use in it).

I've been a huge fan of this automatic mileage tracker that plugs into your car: https://www.amazon.com/Automatic-Connected-Diagnostics-Detection-Compatible/dp/B00UZ0OHIQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1510018485&tag=rigubl0f-20&sr=8-4

You can deduct the cost of it on your taxes since you're solely using it for work.

Great question!

I have one of those cargo nets that are made for motorcycles. So it would be in the DD bag (if it fits), then cargo netted across the rear seat.

I posted above, a few links to some rigid foam trunk cargo organizers. I'm thinking about which one to get. Something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DIMTWCS/ref=sspa_dk_detail_7?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B01DIMTWCS&pd_rd_w=EvAK9&pf_rd_p=10ebaf99-73de-4f5d-a994-e7f5fc52f86f&pd_rd_wg=eRiQf&pf_rd_r=RZMA255QNWZC5CYEHMB5&pd_rd_r=26a8d369-2c1e-11e9-90b8-2bc8cef3038b

I'd have to add some straps for it, but the bike has the rear seat and saddle bags now, so this should fit right over the saddle bags and sit on the seat.
