UPDATE: As amazing as this deal was, all the ebooks are now regularly priced. (Original email is below)

Deal highlights from the 2nd link. I downloaded a lot more than appears here, but these struck me as winners.

first, here's a URL showing some of the Angus and robertson classics (some are public domain, not all). Here's a link to the ABC Books.

Most of them are Richard Laymon books, he is a great horror writer but I wish there is more variety on offer, some Stephen King would be great.

Any way, Richard Laymon's The Cellar is great old school horror fun, his most popular book (according to Goodreads is The Traveling Vampire Show very bloody as I recall.

I haven't read the non-Laymon books here but GRRM's Meathouse Man (The Grinder Comics Series) ought to be good.

For those of you who have not read this series it is fantastic. Crouch was a huge fan of Twin Peaks and his love for the show is apparent when you read the Wayward Pines Series. As it is also being made into a television show, which will air on Fox, it is worth checking out. Of course, if you have Amazon Prime, you can borrow it for free.

Book two is also on sale here: Wayward (The Wayward Pines Series, Book 2) $1.99 Kindle

I don’t think that link works. Here’s another.

I read her novel My Year of Rest & Relaxation recently and really loved it. Have been a fan of her short stories as well. This is her other novel.

Great! Hope someday we wind up in a forum discussing it or other books again... right now most of my energy is going into reading French and learning math-y/data-science stuff, not enough time to reading.

But I did just read a strange and interesting book Quest for Corvo, highly recommend, & at $2.99 appropriate to this sub:

A collection of new English translations of medieval Scandinavian ballads that takes the reader back in time into the fells and forests of the far north. There are tales of champions and fighters, vikings, and trolls, drawing on Norse mythology and heroic legend.

Warrior Lore is reduced to 0.99 as part of the launch of my new collection, The Faraway North. This book is a follow-up to Warrior Lore, so if you enjoy Warrior Lore, then do check out The Faraway North (also currently on a special pre-order price).

After posting this, I found this deal.

This is a three volume set by Dee Brown that includes

  • Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee
  • The Fetterman Massacre
  • Creek Mary's Blood

For $4.99. I have not read The Fetterman Massacre and Creek Mary's Blood, but for $2 more, it seems like a great deal.
