android is the best for portability. this is what i have now. it should be able to do every thing n64 and below. the ds emulator also works great with a good stylus. https://www.amazon.ca/S7800-Handheld-1280x800px-Simulators-Joysticks/dp/B00H5FS870/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1483936371&sr=8-2&keywords=jxd+s7800b

A little late here... I found this one be very good. I play any other game I can with it (such as binding of Isaac).

Softmodded xbox I agree is a good option.

While more expensive than Raspberry Pi, I ended up turning this thing into an emulator for my TV:

I used this monitor to game before I got a 16:9. Works well with even new video cards. I used it for Battlefront and Republic Commando alot. Its a great quality monitor.

I use an iBuffalo SNES controller for NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, and NDS games. it works for pretty much everything Nintendo.

are you sure that 'specs aren't an issue'?

Emulating the gamecube/wii is no trivial task.

As an example, I had one of [these](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product /B00FP4MWUW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) running dolphin and it barely played most games (POR was 'ok'). I can't imagine the S7 Edge being up to the task.

You could get a PlayStation 2 to USB adapter like this one, but you might want to try using a PS4 or PS3 controller instead. You can get them to work with Windows from what I've read.

You could also get a Logitech F710 controller. It has a layout almost exactly the same as what the PS2 has, and has rumble.

Yes you don't need any additional Bluetooth dongles to use it. I'm not sure if they sell them from their own site but you can get one on Amazon.
