Get This antenna, paired with This booster. I have never had any issues since. Small roof imprint too which is nice. Obviously higher and outside mounting is the best.

It's omni directional, but it does have a little preference. If you also have an HD Homerun there's an app called "Signal GH" by Generally Helpful Software that will help you point it in the best direction so that both FOX and everything else are best picked up. Otherwise, if I remember correctly it's just like 5 degrees off north to the east is best...

I don't really care about building a tower. Kilbourne Group can do whatever they want. My concern is that building the tower hinges on the city building a ramp and plaza for the tower, which goes above and beyond economic incentives given to other business development. There ought to be a level playing field for developers throughout the city of Fargo. I don't see any reason why Kilbourne Group should get special treatment.

Secondly, parking ramps tend to sit empty when there are free options on the street, even if those ramps are also free (count cars inside and outside the Island Park or City-owned ramp sometime). I know it sounds counterintuitive but there are books about this sort of thing. Unless the ramp is free, people will continue to use on street parking instead, which adds to congestion and noise. If the city wants to encourage use, and help pay for the maintenance and, ideally, other business improvement districts, they ought to add parking meters downtown and offer a ramp for less in fees or for free.

Edit: I realize that parking meters are currently illegal in ND, which is a dumb law that ought to be changed.

This the one I have. Additionally, I bought a kit to hardwire it in:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G9WTWB9

It may look slightly intimidating to hardwire it, but it is actually super easy. Just connect the ground wire to a metal bolt on the car and find a fuse that runs off the ignition. Take out the fuse, put it in the new fuse holder, and plug that in. Done.

I haven't had any issues with the cold. But they are removable if you are worried about it. Works great, Set it and forget it. Just pop in a good size memory card and you are golden.

I just bought this memory foam mattress off Amazon a couple weeks ago and I love it; $189 shipped to your door. It's pretty cool how it's packaged and shipped; rolled up and vacuum sealed. Can watch the video to see.

It would also prove whether lanes were jumped or not! This is the one I have. Took me about 20 minutes to install. Super easy! No, it doesn't upload automatically or use data. You put a micro sd in it. The card I have will hold 16hrs of video. Once the 16hrs is reached, it starts recording over the oldest footage. So you will always have the last 16hrs of footage available to you.

I got that one on sale for $10. Picks up ABC/NBC/CBS/PBS/Fox and a bunch of other crap perfectly (24 channels total). I didn't even bother mounting it in any special location, just on the back of the TV. I'm in South Fargo and it's in a western facing room.

Last year, a group of about 11 friends and I got this costume and it was pretty popular. It isn't high quality, but it worked for us for Halloween.

u/NativityCrimeScene · 4 pointsr/fargo

Yes. I have also cut the cord with the help of this subreddit. I pay for my internet bill, Netflix, Hulu Plus, and I have Amazon Prime as well.

I also bought one of these antennas and an HDHomeRun and after several hours of struggling with software, I have a really nice setup to watch and record broadcast television with a full TV guide similar to digital cable with DVR. I just have my computer plugged into my TV. It took some time and money to setup, but now I'm saving almost $100/month.

I bought one of these bad boys from "the open box (website linked)" a while back that works with my MidCo cable internet. It wasn't new but it was cheap and it works. Then, I bought this thing which might have been a bit overkill, but dang is this thing awesome. I'd recommend them both, but you could probably do better with a less crazy wireless router.

u/holydeltawings · 1 pointr/fargo

This is an excellent cam. It uses a capacitor and not a battery and powers on when you turn the car on. With the capacitor you don't have to worry about the battery getting too hot. Like the other user stated, you do have to wire it into either the cigarette lighter or another power source.

I have used this one for 3ish years no problem.

Anyone looking to learn more about the militiarization of our police forces in the United States should consider reading Rise of the Warrior Cop by Radley Balko. Fargo does get mentioned a couple of times.

I'm sure they've all left reviews for Natural Harvest
