It’s not a vest, but I use one of these in cold weather. Comfortable in about 10F to 40F riding:

BALEAF Men's Windproof Thermal Softshell Cycling Jacket Water-Repellent Lightweight Windbreaker Winter Jacket Size S https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N3PUX0M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Jhg1Db4TX6G46

Underneath I just wear a thin long sleeve workout shirt like Nike Dri-Fit.

Check out Bright Eyes lights on Amazon.

I have this one. Works great.

Been using one of these...

Works very well, full face when you want extra warmth and pull down the face protection when you need to breath. Magnets make it easy to use with gloves.

Charge Spoon

It has been super comfortable so far

It's my first NBD post, so thanks for the tip. :) I will remember that next time. (Seems obvious now.)

The bag is a Large Topeak Wedge Drybag (https://www.amazon.com/Topeak-Wedge-Drybag-6-9x4-3x4-5-Inch-Medium/dp/B007I7WP1U/ref=sr_1_1). I haven't gotten a spare tube yet, but I hope to try and squeeze one in there.

I have that OMM Phat Sherpa and recommend it. They will email you to measure the length/thread pitch of the axle and get the make/model when you order to make sure it is the right one.

I would also get a seat post clamp that has rack mounts like this. Looks much nicer than the hose clamps.

Here is an example of what I used. Most sheets come in 5' long rolls, so you will have to cut two strips and tape them together, placing the joining section between cutouts. Surly rims have a wide section where the stem hole is and directly across from that where I placed mine. Also, I recommend leaving the backing on the vinyl because they are tough to work with if the sticky side is exposed. Good luck!

Park Tool makes some over sized hooks. I had my LBS order me one. Look like Amazon has them too but I always support my LBS when I can. Park Tool Wood Thread Storage Hook, X-Large https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JXO272S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_TTA6xbRGE5EDT

Really cold (like <10°F). I like that it wraps down over my ears. And I can stick some speakers in them. Also gives me a nice permanent perch for one of my lights.

I usually wear thin hood/balaclava under it. When its really cold, I go with a full face balaclava and some ski/board goggles.

Helmet, balaclava & goggles.

I'd recommend a hitch bike rack. Kind of something like this

Thule 9035XTB T2 Pro XT 2 Bike (1.25") Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N53XNOK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_yhG9BbGY0D796

It just comes down to what you drive to be honest and on how conveniente you want it to be. I personally have no experience with trunk racks. At times a hitch rack can get in the way if you're trying to get to the trunk but also depends on what you drive. I also have a "sea sucker" roof rack that works well but I'm not sure if they have adapters for fat bikes. Hope this helps!

too late. i did manage to put together some solid wheels for a fair price. here is the list of parts so far.

Rims : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007QNWA8Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Rubber : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CGDW1S2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hubs : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015MTZFTO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

(forums say that they are made by the same company as the other "big brands" but at a much better value price tag) at least i have something that has sealed cartage bearings now so if something does go bad its going to be those and those can be replaced hella cheap!

and a simple shimano 10 speed cassette and skewer to hold everything together. i don't know what other hidden parts i may need. i plan to have the shop to build these and they should have the spokes on hand... i hope....

Here's the dual headlight setup. The fluted lens is the flood beam I have aimed low to illuminate right in front of the tire. The clear lens is the spot beam and has a really good throw. The lights are attached with a rubber band type attachment that hold position really well, but are easy to adjust on the fly without loosening any bolts or brackets.

Here is the tail light. Dirt cheap and it glows red which is all I care about. My only complaint is the plastic mounting bracket. I've had it come loose a few times over some bumpy terrain, but haven't had any issues since I reinforced it with some washers.

You could try a rack that mounts over the disc brake eyelets in the rear, and get a seatpost clamp with eyelets to secure the front, like this
