I gave it a good shot since you, u/claraaintgottime, and u/sleepy_doggos all asked.

I'll warn y'all that it skews fat and queer because that's what I'm most interested in and it's most representative of my actual witch community. I know maybe two skinny white cis witches who actively practice. A lot of us are some kind of Not That.

As far as explanations go, I used exaggerated silhouettes and traditional men's workwear pieces to help own your space, green and metallic because get that coin, loud reds for confidence and power, black for bravery and security, and bold yellows for wealth and aspiration. Reds would be great for people going for a leadership role while yellows would be perfect for people in creative fields. I also wanted to include some hints of eccentricity—it's easy to gain power from other people's discomfort when you're unapologetically yourself.

For an additional resource, Gabriela Herstik's book Inner Witch has a whole chapter on fashion magick. She's a writer for Vice and I think her book is a great primer for introducing a little bit of witchcraft into your life. She talks about clothing as spiritual armor and goes over color, intention, and ritual fairly thoroughly with handy charts! The coolest thing about this practice to me is that it's all personalized. You make the rules and there's no right or wrong.

srs Amazon has cheaper silk pillowcases in the $30 range. Of course they are stained with the tears of factory workers, but other than that they are great.

I bought these for myself and my mom. They're fabulous.

My body type is Erlenmeyer flask and let me tell you, it is extremely difficult to find clothes that fit when you have size 15 feet, huge cankles, and size 20AAAA boobs. So glad wide leg pants are coming back in because they’re perfect for my inverted ice cream cone legs 😍

found this/this but i feel like jcrew has done one like that in previous seasons so you could try poshmark or something

You want one of these bad boys. (I call them a defuzzer, not sure if that’s the actual name for it). You lay your garment out on an ironing board exactly like you iron a shirt and then move this thing over it much like you use an iron. It cuts off any lint balls or burrs or anything that sticks up. Not suitable for anything textured or very fluffy unfortunately, but for everything else it’s a godsend.

I just got this on Amazon and it's pretty rad.

I'm not the person you replied to but like this.

I have this mesh thing I put flat over a bath tub, floor, table or clip it over a drying rack. Does the job and the clothes dry fast on it since they can breathe from both sides.

It folds into a smaller circle as well and can be clipped to hang on your drying rack when not in use so doesn't take space.

Forgive me because this can be a language barrier thing. What would you call this that I'm wearing? It's probably a 15 or a 20 denier sheer color lycra tight (up to my waist). Because this are pretty common around here. For me those are stockings.

Just because it’s not commonly produced doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Ponte stitches are incredibly tight and some amount of synthetic in the yarn helps cotton move along, and if there’s no demand then of course manufacturers aren’t going to go the extra mile to make it for no reason.

I’m getting my info from years of being a textile artist and working with people in the textile industry. Knits absolutely don’t wrinkle in any way that matters, please show me a modal or linen knit that wrinkles, I’d love to see it—the structure of knit stitches themselves resist it (one exception would be particularly old/crunchy fine cotton T-shirt knits). Cotton twill is manufactured with pure cotton all the time, see [any military type coat](WenVen Men's Washed Cotton Jacket (Army Green,S) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072PWJ5R9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NLIUDb6AA564Q) or hell, denim. And yes cotton shrinks, but typically store bought items are preshrunk, if you by something and then it shrinks, return it obviously. It’s not like cotton items continue to shrink every single wash until it disappears into the ether.

Look, you can poke holes in any material in the world. Most materials have their place. You just seem really defensive about the fact that some people have different priorities to a weird degree.

What is a shirt? Is it this? I bought one of these but I have no idea where or how or when to “wear” it because I’m so beautiful and thin that I can’t leave my house or I get hit on immediately.
