Im not sure about the quality of paint but being above the television is going to get that shelf kinda warm. You may find that your PoPs and boxes will stick to it over time.Maybe some colored contact paper on the top to protect your stuff. Love your idea though. I dont mean to offend, just help improve. :)

This is what I use whenever a pop breaks. It works pretty good. I use it on a lot of things like acrylic, metal, wood etc. dries pretty fast also

You may already know, but regardless of shipping fees, anything you buy from the US will be charged customs fees if the total of the item and shipping comes to over £15. If it then gets delivered on through Royal Mail, you will havea further £8 cost on top.

Fwiw, Amazon UK has both Charmander and Bulbasaur available at £12.72 and £12.86 respectively. Charmander from a US seller called US-ZINC and Bulbasaur from a US seller called Toy Zany.

I have used both before, several times as both these and two other US sellers called Toy Haven Online and Game Dealz regularly have Pop!s at good prices. They usually go down to around £7.09 if you are patient, I got the full new Big Bang Theory set from a mixture of them all at £7.09 each which is cheaper than using PIAB UK. I don't know how they manage it, but they must have something in place to allow them to sell at this price as a US seller on Amazon UK because they've been doing it for a while, and the Pop!s are legit else I wouldn't have used them multiple times.

Those 4 sellers all have differing delivery times, so you shouldn't need to worry about buying both at the same time and them then both coming through customs at the same time, and triggering charges for being over £15 together.

Noticed people were getting Chase versions from Amazon so I tested my luck. I ordered 2 Demogorgons first, when I got the chase I went ahead and ordered 2 Elevens and wasn't disappointed!

my aunt gave me this shelf for my birthday and i have my 9 winnie the pooh pops displayed on it in my dorm. if you have pops with the stands, they fit perfectly as well.

Used two risers: 15-inch and 10-inch that I bought off of Amazon. They fit the space I had perfectly!

In the features part it says that 1 in 12 have colored eyes (the chase). But yes most of the ones fulfilled by Amazon has a chance at a chase.

I think someone told me they use the baseball display case for theirs. I am thinking it was from Ikea. It was a straight horizontal one that could fit like 5-6 figures. I have those lights. Here they are in a Michael's baseball bat display case, running on a rechargeable battery. Specifically this battery. They're surprisingly bright. That was just a test setup to get an idea of what the case would look like.

I have the smaller ones and they worked well for two individual Pops. The bigger ones might hold 5-6 Pops unless see if can find risers that fit inside/ontop. Also may want to hang upside down if want to show your Pops feet or not worry about lip causing tight fits on riser .

Standard LED strips are what I used for the lighting. If you want battery-powered, I used these to make that work. It runs 8x AA batteries. The battery back can stand upright in the back of the case. Since it's black too, you really don't even see it. You could easily get some Velcro and attach it to the outside though (easier access to the on/off switch).

Honestly can't say how long the battery life is, as I ended up selling that case (I made another one with some upgrades and left off the battery pack).

Thanks! The acrylic risers on the 2nd and 3rd levels are the 12 x 8.5 inch variants by Niubee, they can be found on Amazon here. The riser on the top shelf was purchased from 630Laser on Etsy.

Not sure what that one is but I really like the ultra pro hard stacks. Really thick plastic and no bottom or top lid, just two pieces that fit together.

Strangely enough, Amazon is also a store which maintains warehouses and inventory... So forcing them to take back lots of the same item which is advertised as having a rare variant screws them over as well as any other customers who expect a 1/6 fair chance. If lots of people did this it would dilute chases far below 1 in 6, which is why most stores don't allow returns. Typically Amazon even has to sell them as "Amazon warehouse deals" because they're used (I suspect this happened here before they were caught: 1, 2)

TL;DR: There is a system, and you are trying to "outsmart" it. Sell on craigslist/Ebay if you want to cut your losses.
