Just in case anyone's curious about Resident Evil novels (that Barry jokingly came up with), there actually is a pretty decent series by the author S.D. Perry. She adapted RE0-RE3 as well as Code Veronica and two original stories.

I really enjoy them as a fan of the franchise.

I've done acid (AMA?)

It's way less intense than mushrooms and gives one a way better trip. I did it once while birdsitting for my brother and haning out with some friends (he has a Conure parrot). I spent most of the trip reading the Fallout 3 art book ( http://www.amazon.com/The-Art-Fallout-Natalia-Smirnova/dp/B002DHX79E ) and listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwlGNtE2WCc

Then I took a two hour walk by a river and traintracks at night and worrying about Mirelurks and Super Mutants.

overall the night was TAN OUTTA TAN.

If anyone is interested in the Upright Citizens Brigade there's a book you can purchase that's quite good and is the standard resource for anyone interested in rat dicks.

FYI, Brave New World (the expansion they were playing) is still $30, as it is a new release. I would still recommend buying it. would suggest this if it weren't sold out in 2 seconds of being put up.

I liked the details put into the Steven Universe pops. I remember seeing a post by Rebecca Sugar about the design process and communication between her and them, and it was really interesting. They even got Steven's hair to look like a rose to reference his mom.

I found this on Amazon (actually found it first at an Office Depot or Office Max). I never ended up buying it, but it promises a finer point than the common touch screen pen. I don't know how well it works but I do remember being impressed at how much thinner the tip is when I saw it in person. If you've got the money to spend on it and try it out, well, here you go!

Edit: Or I should read some more comments before posting my own... :/

Not sure if it's what Arin talked about, but there's always Breath Right. They're adhesive strips that you put on your nose before bed that keep your nostrils open and help you breath better while you sleep.

Well, since they're getting Sega CD games, Willy Beamish. Never played it, have fond memories of watching walkthroughs of it on YouTube. Plus, used copies are really cheap. Really. Cheap. I'd buy it if my parents let me. Please guys?

I don't know the video you're looking for -
But usually when animators refer to animation books it's the:
"Animators Survival Kit" - Richard Williams
"Illusion of Life" - Ollie Johnston & Frank Thomas
These cover the basics, and are helpful for understanding principles in animation.
But online tutorials and blogposts can teach just as much. Epsecially just experimenting on your own.

Of course, Ross could have mentioned completely different books, and I'm sorry, but I hope this helps atleast a little.

In June, Arin tweeted that he'd upgraded to the Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 pre-amp/usb interface. As far as I know that's been the only change the setup besides some sort of capture card for Steam Train, which I believe is probably the AverMedia Capture Card for PC. It's mentioned in the first episode of Civ 5, and it's great for taking the processing power of the capture off of the PC by routing it through the card.

Thanks! I might actually have a little extra money, do you think it would be worth it to get this mic (it was on the similar items thing on the page):

For anybody wondering about the book they showed, it's True Norwegian Black Metal, and is an amazing photobook. Lots of really dope photography from all sorts of black metal bands.

I've been hitting the GCN library hard since I got a refurbished one after my Wii broke. I haven't gotten a copy of Sunshine back yet, they're fairly expensive in good shape, but it's on the top of my list to look out for, along with SSBM. And for the record, yes, the Grumps are making me want to play it really, really bad.

>what if I wanted them to play, say, NES Remix,

Well, for that one, there is a physical release.

Didn't take me long :p

Though specifically which one Arin had, I don't have the slightest clue, so I'll leave you to sift through them all for one with good reviews. The first result does seem to have recordable message.
