I did, yes. And economists much smarter than you tend to agree. If that's a bit above you though, here's an excellent picture book that can explain it to you.

I also sleep on an air mattress - this one.
I've been using this for 2 years now. I had a few seams pop, but it comes with a 1 year warranty so they replaced it for $15 shipping. If you want to stay on an air mattress I would seriously recommend this one. With air mattresses, a larger initial investment will definitely save you in the long run.

If you can already program, the most important thing is to get a good handle on modern C++. I can't think of a good class at GT that emphasizes things like smart pointers, multi-threading, or the modern standard lib. I learned from A Tour of C++:

I would recommend adding a question about the particular model of backpack the person already owns/how much they spent on their current backpack. I was prepared to put it down but I was surprised that it was never asked.

Also, I would expand the range of prices when you ask about what they would pay. $50+ is to too low for the highest bracket because a lot of students use North Face backpacks which are almost all $100+. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D83WBQH

Alsoooo, durability is a huge factor in deciding my next backpack. I prefer spending $100+ on a good backpack that I can use for 4 years rather than 4x$30 backpacks that only last 1 year.

Alsooooooo, this is for UI design right? So actually I don't know if any of these points actually even matter bc idk what you're trying to do with the data. I originally thought you were legitimately designing a backpack as a senior design project or something.

Suggestion - roach tablets - Sprays smell, powder spreads and better than plain borax because it has an attractant. I know for a fact this one works well on Atlanta roaches. Plus its very neat - just put them on the floor where guests can't see them and the roaches will find the tablets.

$6 on Amazon prime or as low as $5 locally at Lowes

Oh wow finally a problem that I spent a while trying to figure out how to solve

DON'T use WD-40, by definition it's not a lubricant (it's a displacement fluid!) and will only smell and gum up all of the contact points. I found this out the hard way.
What you should use is any sort of dry bicycle chain lubricant which won't leave a residue or smell after 15 minutes of drying and should get rid of any creaking noises for about a year. Something like this.

Take your lubricant and firstly apply it to all the areas in the corners (where the posts are) where metal touches metal - basically any contact points where the mattress frame connects to the post, and especially around those circular rivet thingies that hold the assembly together. If the creaking doesn't stop after those areas are lubricated, you can move on to applying a small amount of lubricant to each of the metal 'hooks' on the frame, both where they attach to each other throughout the center area of the frame and more critically, where they hook onto the mattress frame itself (I think most of my creaks happened here and at the posts). Use the smallest amount of lubricant possible at each joint so you don't waste any and it doesn't spill everywhere.

Good luck!

I use a D-Link HD Media Router 2000, got one "like new" for around $20. Gigabit LAN ports and it was easy to disable the wireless on it. I wouldn't recommend it for its wireless capabilities anyway, it seems those have issues based on reviews. But it works perfect for Tech's requirements

Get yourself a cheap router and plug that in the wireless port. Run it on another channel than the one GTwpa uses (I think 9 is pretty clear) and then you can have some good speeds for you and other people in your room/area that you want to share with.

If you want a better book for Calc 2, try this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Linear-Algebra-Introduction-Dennis-Schneider/dp/0024069108/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1303943455&sr=8-1

It was recommended to me when I took Calc 2, and it is the sole reason I got an A in the class. Also, it's like $2.00 so that's nice too.

FE Review Manual: Rapid Preparation for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam by Michael R. Lindeburg is the book I'm currently using to study for it. It is still based on the old pen and paper test, but they do have a list of what chapters to use for each test here. It seems to be a good resource and covers the main parts of each section. People I work with who have taken the FE also used this book and passed, so it came recommended.

Hi! Thank you so much for doing this. I was hoping you could help with finding some of my business class books?

For Econ 2106-Microeconomics.

For MGT 2106-Legal Aspects of Business.

For MGT 2200- IT Management.

For MGT 2250-Management Statistics.

Edit: Found the book for IT Management. You can download it from this website, here.

I use the Xbox One tuner on my PC and it works great. It won't work on Xbox One actually because Xbox doesn't have QAM software support (they're working on it apparently) but the tuner does come with a code to use with some PC software which works really well. You can watch live TV, pause TV, and schedule recordings with it.

If you enjoyed this article, check out his Book "Ten men you meet in the huddle". I read it while I was at Tech and it helped me stay motivated.

The perceptual psychology class required us to get the 8th edition of this book. The cheapest I could find it, after some internet sleuthing, was $70 or so for a used copy... but as you can see it costs $160 new.

Instead, I got the 7th edition used for $8

The semester is over now and I made it through just fine with the older book.

And that is how college textbooks work :)
