Yes, read it. Death in Yellowstone is good too.... I still have chills over the one at Shoshone Geyser Basin.

Do you ever drink out of potholes or other standing water? I've seen water i'd feel ok drinking untreated and also some that looked pretty dubious.
As a kid I had no problem drinking river water but since I started doing stuff with official hikers with official hiker gear we've always iodined or filtered.
