Here, abandon the RX 570 idea. I'd never usually recommend people to buy 1650s, but I guess it'll work best for you.

https://www.amazon.ae/ASUS-GeForce-Overclocked-Graphics-PH-GTX1650-O4G/dp/B07QJDT7GR/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?keywords=aero+1650&qid=1566425093&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmr0

Now there are a few compromises...

  1. The 1650 will not be able to give you an excellent experience at 1440p, unless you play on lowest settings.
  2. The 1650 will not be able to push 1080p 60FPS at ultra settings in some more intense games, although high or medium settings should be smooth.
  3. If you plan to do more intense and detailed gaming in the future, you would need to build one from scratch as your pre-built system's CPU is a bit old.

    I recommended this GPU because...

  4. This may not require a new PSU as the GTX 1650 is not power hungry.
  5. This card should push 1080p 60FPS Maxed Settings on most eSport and competitive titles (like Fortnite and Overwatch)
  6. Destiney and Dark Souls should be very playable at High (Next to Max) settings.
  7. Most importantly, this isn't a very hot card and it only has one fan, allowing for better fit and thermals.
  8. This card is very budget friendly, even with higher prices in Dubai.

Bottom Line: I didn't think it was necessary to make this machine a 1440p ready PC, due to possible bottlenecks from the CPU and problems with the form factor. Also, if your PSU is about 400W, then you don't need a better PSU.

If you're not VR gaming or 4k gaming/1440p Ultra settings, you should be more than fine with the 1050 ti. It's an amazing card with an amazing price. It's diffenetly a budget card that you should consider. And yes, a 240 psu is a good option but not if you're planning to overclock the CPU + GPU in the future because you might come close to the roof or overload it. Make sure to get a certified PSU like a Bronze one at least. This one is a pretty good one if you're interested: :D
(450w - 40$)[https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-CX450-Bronze-Power-Supply/dp/B01MTZ96RU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500264326&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+cx+450]
(23$ on sale - Newegg)[https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152062&nm_mc=AFC-C8JunctionCA&cm_mmc=AFC-C8JunctionCA-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10592396&PID=3938566&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_source=afc-%zn]
Although the bottom one is ALOT cheaper I would strongly recommend the corsair over the raidmax as its a lesser know PSU) I can't believe it or not find a 220w PSU on PCPartPicker so link me one you think is good :P

Can it be done? I'm sure the parts can be purchased to make a square peg fit in a round hole. Is it going to do you any good? It's debatable... I seriously doubt the speeds would be capable of getting you any kind of efficient connection speeds between the CPU/Ram onthe MB and the GPU, in order to give you any kind of increase in rendering speed,

as for the bottleneck in your connection

USB 3.0 speeds (500MB/s)

mini PCIE speeds.(250MB/s)

PCIEx16 = 985MB/s

So the mini PCIE is going to bottleneck you greatly, and no telling what your adapter will limit you to. (it's designed for mining)

hard to say what your final FPS increase would be, dont spend too much on a GPU

Here's another best case use. and the video keep in mind, this guy is getting 40 FPS on halflife 1! granted he's using a quite small/cheap GPU, but it's hard to say if using better one would net any real results. (also 15 FPS on portal)

250/985 = 25.38% of the normal bandwith!

Honestly my suggestion would be save your money to build a new PC!

Personally I'd say you could do a bit to really improve your overall performance.Don't go with a GT 1030, you've got better options in that SFF category, this being the one I'd suggest.https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GTX-1050-TI-4GT/dp/B01N2W8MJ9

You could go with the GT 1030 if you'd like, the only downside I can really see is that there isn't much in the way of upgrading the CPU so do what feels right.

Edit: As to if it will fit, yes. Both GPUs, the one I recommended and the 1030 should fit in without problem.

u/DoYouHaveItGutz · 1 pointr/graphicscard

> GTX 1060 6GB

I'm guessing the 1030 couldn't do the job for me (https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GV-N1030OC-2GI-Nvidia-GeForce-Graphics/dp/B07646VQ6T/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=pc+video+card&qid=1574799330&s=electronics&sr=1-3) From what I gather it wouldn't be 4k over the DVI anyways, just the hdmi.

I don't really want a monitor over 27" since there will be 2, but I just a very nice crisp picture for detailed work and just to have it really.

I don't even think I would go to Netflix of Youtube and crank it up to 4k in general.. again, just want the nicest display at a reasonable price :)

Thoughts?

What you're referring to is a switcher for switching the device thats connected to it. I'm referring to a splitter which is capable of either mirroring the image or expand desktop if gpu supports it. Here is my splitter on amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HT2V1RH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Ok so I should be ok running my 4 monitors simultaneously with some browsing and trading.

Thanks.

I think this card: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01GXOX3SW/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1492771511&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=gtx+1070&dpPl=1&dpID=51y7rQKEq4L&ref=plSrch, is better, its 405$, its almost same as the MSI ARMOR You linked but this one has some LEDs and MOST IMPRTANTLY a backplate, which can protect your card so it lasts longer. But if its red color doesnt suit your build or you dont want to spend the extra, the ARMOR is the next best alternative, though you have to be careful with it so it can last.

I think 340 GBP is a great price for XT.
If you manage to solve your card issues, which I hope you do, you might want to consider getting https://www.amazon.co.uk/ARCTIC-Accelero-Xtreme-IV-Compatible/dp/B00HHMJIIO for 45 quid.

Fantastic cooler for your reference XT

u/mekat · 3 pointsr/graphicscard

Just checked US prices. They are still $50 higher then what I paid 18 months ago for a Zotac 1060 3gb (regularly priced, not on sale $220ish). Definitely more reasonable but still jacked up. My GPU is halfway through its lifespan so I have been hoping that it makes it until the prices return to normal. If my GPU dies before then I will either have to downgrade or buy a used console because I can't afford current prices.

ETA: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 Mini 3GB GDDR5 Super Compact Graphics Card (ZT-P10610A-10L) This was the card I bought and here it is listed on [Amazon where I bought it.] (https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-Compact-Graphics-ZT-P10610A-10L/dp/B01KKJAJM4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1522443454&sr=1-1&keywords=ZOTAC+GeForce+GTX+1060+Mini+3GB+GDDR5+Super+Compact+Graphics+Card+%28ZT-P10610A-10L%29)

u/Himynameis86 · 1 pointr/graphicscard

I recommend the 5700 navi gpu. It should get you some decent performance and you will get even more once you decide to upgrade your cpu and mobo. Flat out price to performance an AIB radeon 5700 is 300 bucks and would be perfect. or you could get the 5700 xt because im seeing that alot of the 5700 cards are like 460 and for like 50 more bucks you can get the xt version that will get you some more performance. unless you want to go with the blower style cards.https://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-Triple-Backplate-Graphics/dp/B07WC7683C/ref=sr_1_24?keywords=5700&qid=1566002113&s=gateway&sr=8-24

u/yuri53122 · 2 pointsr/graphicscard

at that price range, you'd probably be looking at either a 260X or a 750Ti.

Personally, I'm an AMD guy, but both of those cards are great products for that segment

edit: but if you can bump up another £10, the R7-265 is a good one also

u/shyfs23 · 1 pointr/graphicscard

I think I might have found the problem. The drivers are installed and it's detected by the pc but when I go into bios and set the main gpu to be PCIe it won't show anything. And I think it's cause of the cables :
I have 3 VGA monitor's and I used this https://www.amazon.com/Female-Single-Adapter-Graphic-Durable/dp/B01ID0RUMY/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1482096115&sr=8-17&keywords=dvi-d+to+vga+adapter

After some time I found people online saying it's cause I need special cables like HDMI to VGA
(Something like this )
https://www.amazon.com/Moread-Gold-Plated-Projector-Chromebook-Raspberry/dp/B00SW9JI9A/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1522328021&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=hdmi+to+vga&psc=1

I just want to know if this is true before I buy it.

u/nukacola2077 · 1 pointr/graphicscard

Just do whats more affordable for you in this case but you need to cool it anyway. Is a must. I got 4 fans + the cpu cooler and my videocard works perfectly below 80°. The most cheap and reliable fans i got https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VRKVG9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_iT4FDbYDQV14S

u/uberstar100 · 1 pointr/graphicscard

Easy! Get yourself a GTX 1070 (Any company is fine, except for EVGA) If you are going to game on new titles.
Unless you play MOBAS and FPS such as CS:GO, then go for a GTX 1060 or the 1050 TI.

Here, i'll give you links to the graphic cards mentioned above
1050 TI
1060
1070

Now unfortonatley, you are going to have to higher your budget for the 1070 if you really do some hardcore game. But for you, since you only do game, I recommend the 1060.

u/gravenzee · 1 pointr/graphicscard

My mistake.

I bought this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IEKYD5U

At the time of my first reply the MSI was sold out except for third party sellers. It seems its back, for a slightly higher $ then I paid, from Amazon.
But I'm curious why people wont buy EVGA cards?

u/Xonshiz · 2 pointsr/graphicscard

I looked at both the cards. 1050 Ti, would be a good choice I think then. This mini 1050i
