It's my new go-to brush. Gets lots of loose undercoat fur out, and does a much better job of taming the fur on his hips/by his fluffy butt than what I used before.
We also use a regular rake that I bought at a pet store on a whim like 5 years ago.
I still need help taming his mane, though, if anyone has any tips...

We've gotten the Kong bear which lasted a while but eventually ended up without a skeleton after about a month. We immediately bought a replacement after seeing how sad he was that his new favorite toy was no more.
Does that rope giraffe hold together pretty well? Every rope toy we've gotten (except the bear which had the body to protect the rope) has shredded after he starts grinding on them with his back teeth.

Use this for de-matting the back end. Works great and is gentle and safe. Those blades are sharp but the rounded edge is not sharpened.

i'll go and do about 1/2 of a room before it needs to be cleaned, just grab it with your hand, then finish raking the room. doing that leaves a lot less work for the vacuum and i feel like i end up with a much more thorough result.

We have this one! Multi-species approved, except by my Pyr who distrusts it deeply and strongly prefers her water to be served in a river.
We tried Bravecto on our dogs when we lived in Florida and it did nothing. We had better luck with Revolution. I think it depends on the species of ticks though. It's the only plushie toy we've gotten him that he hasn't been able to shred. It's the perfect size for him to shake around, except it has one small squeaker in its head that he HATES and is scared of, so when we accidentally makes the gator squeak, he gets scared and backs off for a second. He's a huge chicken!

I've never had an issue with this and we just use a regular old nylon collar like this one, how tight is the collar? Maybe try loosening it a little bit? If one type of collar is doing it then I'm not sure if the collar would make a difference. How often are you brushing? If you brush once a week and take the collar off to brush out that hair you shouldn't be seeing any matting.
One of the reasons to not get small dogs. They yap-yap-yap like crazy.
