Since the Christmas episode is coming up, I thought I would give you guys a heads up on something you all as Grimm fans might want to get for Christmas. We all understand the whole "Brothers Grimm" inspiration for this show. Well, more often than not, people are familiar with the stories published in the 1857 edition of the Brothers Grimm tales - which had the stories cleaned up for children, added in Christian morality, and so on. But, the first editions of the first and second volumes (published in 1812 and 1815) are the closest to their original verbal form and haven't been cleaned up. So, for those interested in the inspiration for some of the stuff on the show, check out, for the first time ever, an English translation of The Original Folk and Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm: The Complete First Edition.
