I recently bought the AT2020 condenser mic ($139.99 XLR version) but you need a USB audio interface in order to use it with your computer. I have the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. It's great. Using this combo, you can monitor your inputs in real time with zero delay with headphones. Perfect for podcasting/singing/voice overs.

If you don't want to buy an audio interface, there is also a USB version of the AT2020 condenser mic ($209.99) which I'm sure is great - I haven't used the USB version, but it sounds great in test videos. Why not always just buy the USB version over XLR? Well XLR has better quality sound, zero latency, and it's just nice to be able to use your mic in the future if you ever decide to upgrade. Or vice versa, if you buy a new XLR mic in the future, you'd be ready for it if you have an audio interface.

However the USB version still sounds great, and you can plug your headphones directly into the USB mic to hear your voice in real time with zero latency - which for me is a major selling point of having an audio interface.

Don't let the somewhat low prices fool you though, they're amazing mics. Definitely studio quality. Aside from the AT2020, I'm not sure what else to recommend other than the SM7B. I know the AT2020 has a "big brother" called AT2035, which is larger diaphragm and thus more sensitive. But..... it's only available in XLR, no USB.

I'm not big on posting, but it seems that a few people, including myself, want to know more about the woman. Now I'm not saying that I'm 100% certain this may be her book, but the author looks VERRRRRRY similar to her, and well.... Google matched the pictures. GoNovate Nano just came out recently and I love it. They have other versions as well, I've tried them all and I have to say the nano or G11 are the best.

G11 is a bit bigger and has better sound, but only fits in the right ear comfortably.

Nano is more discreet, fits both ears, sound is not as good as G11 but still respectable for a tiny mono earbud.

This was one of my favorite episodes so far. Bobby's no bullshit style meshed perfectly. We need a description of his fucked up feet though.

I installed a Roku stick on my parent's TV and the thing was mounted flat to the wall with barely any room. I spent a good 45 mins trying to plug this damn thing in. The rage is justified. I ended up getting this adapter which was easier to plug in and the stick hangs down from it but is still hidden. Hearing Ethan talk about it gave me PTSD.

It sucks seeing Ethan depressed. Everything he says resonates with me and it's a vicious cycle for sure. It sucks being aware you're in it and knowing you're not doing anything about it. Gotta keep working at it. I started taking vitamin D like a weirdo and it helps a lot. Like noticeably if I don't take it for a day I find myself getting pissed at stupid things. If anti-depressants can help, just take them. It's not a weakness and nothing to be ashamed about. All the rappers are taking Xanax these days and that's for anxiety. Get a face tat if it makes you feel better. Call yourself Lil Fupa. In all seriousness though, I hope Ethan feels better.

Lastly, one video that some people don't like is okay. It really is. To me it's like that episode of Breaking Bad with the fly, or the finale of The Sopranos. Some people think it sucked and others think it was genius, but as a body of work it's undeniable those series are masterpieces. It's the same with Ethan. His body is a masterpiece. But really though if people stopped creating because some people didn't like what they did we wouldn't have half of the art and music we enjoy, so just keep it up.
