I bought my LE1700 a few years back for around $400, but it's significantly dropped price since then. There's one here on Amazon being sold for $289 by "amazinglaptops". It's hard drive (80GB) and RAM (4GB) have been maxed out and Windows 7 comes pre-installed. Also, unlike my LE1700, this one has a "View Anywhere" screen, which basically means it has a wider viewing angle and has a brighter picture. It is a marvelous deal, and I highly recommend getting one of these. You may want to upgrade the pen, since the default is a little cheap.
