Thanks, yeah it’s a super cheap light on Amazon too: https://www.amazon.com/Headlight-Housing-Davidson-Motorcycle-Kawasaki/dp/B071D3TPQ5

I’m using just the light, no metal can, and making a custom dash and light can.

The vagabond fender eliminated and cargo rack was a great addition for mine. For those times when you need some extra space for stuff. Works way better than strapping stuff to the rear seat.

They're definitely not super high quality but they look good and dont vibrate bad.

Functionally my girlfriend’s Neverlandback mirrors work far better but I like the looks of mine more, and I always swivel my head to look as is anyways during my commutes.

My mirrors were on Amazon, here’s the link, they bolt right up.

This one

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005FMTX4M/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Z0J1wbA0EYSS0

Pretty generic!

Edit: I took out all of the little adapter things it comes with and just removed the screw from the end of the handle bars and put it there. I can clarify this more if you'd like.

I believe the proper spec is 35mm for the newer groms.

You really don't want to deviate from that too much. Anywhere from 30-40mm is fine. 50mm or more and it can potentially be dangerous to ride. In fact, the owner's manual says do not even ride it if it's at 50mm or more.

These tools come in handy and I use them every time I adjust my chain.

  1. MOTION PRO Slack Setter Pro Chain Tension Tool

  2. Motion Pro 08-0048 Chain Alignment Tool

And yes, each time you loosen the axle nut, you will most likely have to readjust your chain tension. Do not try to make adjustment without loosening the axle nut first. This is not a hard task to accomplish once you've done it enough times. The important part is obtaining the proper slack in the chain and also making sure the rear tire stays straight. That is what the chain alignment tool is for, because you can't always rely on the hash marks on the swingarm.

This video has been pretty helpful for me, because he shows the correct process of chain slack adjustment, starting with the tire pushed all the way forward and slowly getting it into spec. It's on a Ninja 300 but the same concept applies.

I just put mzs mirrors on mine https://www.amazon.com/MZS-Universal-Motorcycle-Mirrors-10MM/dp/B079KBDFGC they are still low but the mirror itself is large. It's like 6x4 inches. I see well behind me now with the convex mirror

Fender Eliminator

Low mount exhaust

Custom seat

Flush mount signals

LED Headlight

Not pictured: Frame sliders

Oh! I also updated the Headlights to be LED. SO bright. I had to Plastidip-smoke the top of the lens to stop blinding oncoming cars at night.

I use these and they work pretty well, but I do have to put my elbows down a little to see directly behind me. If I'm stopped at a light I can clearly see approaching traffic from behind, which is the main reason I run with mirrors. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06Y2RH6WG

Just snagged one thanks bro!

Buy some replacement mirrors! I got rid of the weird circle ones and replaced with some sportier looking ones.

They also stick a little further out to the left and right which improves visibility. You mainly see your own elbows in the stock mirrors.

I know you already have it off, but wanted to share for anyone else removing stickers. Scotty peeler was a life changer for me and boat stickers, and now any stickers.

I've only done a few things but really my favorite so far is new mirrors, I think the round mirrors ruin the atheistic on a bike which is mostly hard angles, plus I can't see behind me with the stock mirrors.
