I poured a layer of woodland scenics realistic water about 1/8” thick and then painted it with some Tamiya clear acrylic paint! The poured resin is flexible after it dries so it was super easy to cut and shape into a wave. I added a wire underneath for extra support.

Alternatively as well these are good, I still have this actually, I bought 2 sets, so its about 4 high and its pretty close to detolf shelf size. If you slip LED's it looks really great. Again, just an alternative and I recommend getting 2 and stacking them. If anything its a nice starter shelf before an upgrade later.

One roll will probably last you forever, and it protects your figures/etc from sun damage for the most part. You could put some on your window, as well as on the detolf itself. =)

Do NOT use the LEDs he did. They absolutely suck when it comes to color temperature consistency. I had to light 3 cabinets so i got three strips. One was warm, one was cool and one was nearly blue.

They're ok. They were super cheap on amazon a while ago, around $30. They're around $60 now so they're not as good of a deal as they were. I'd buy them used for sure!

It is extremely effective, but not 100% dust proof. and it isn't difficult at all. You can purchase weather stripping on Amazon for a few bucks and it takes a couple minutes to just stick it to the sides.
The 16ft length is able to line 1 detolf with about 3-4 feet left over.

If the figure was 13” tall as he should be it wouldn’t work next to other figures as the helmet is fractionally smaller. But then again if Vader wasn’t burned and needed new, longer, legs then maybe it would work, lol.
