I am a avid baker and when my boyfriend started Keto diet I really wanted to try and make some low carb/Keto desserts ( I don’t do either diet but I have been eating mostly low/reduced carbs since we live together). I tried every sweetener out there, stevia, Truvia, Splenda and many mix/sugar substitutes but they all had a weird aftertaste or the ratio is different than regular sugar and alters the texture of the recipe. Finally decided to get swerve (ordered on amazon) and it was a game changer! I have been able to recreate lots of favorites including brownies, cookies and blueberry muffins, banana muffins and more and I always use swerve now. Tastes just like regular sugar in the recipes and can be used cup for cup as regular sugar. They even have a powdered (confectioners) one that can be used to make frosting.

Have you possibly considered Quest Multipurpose Mix? I haven't bought it personally (yet) but I imagine they made it for the exact reason you're looking for- no flavoring but used as a baking base. Amazon Link
