I would recommend going by what the owner manuel says to do at 75k miles. As far as the Thermostat and Gasket, I would remove those from the list as those are typically on the maintenance list of things to do, however, it wouldn't hurt to have them inspected. As far as the air and cabin filter, those you can do on your own, just look up a couple of Youtube videos, it'll take you all but ten minutes, save you money. As far as the complete fuel, I presume you mean by a fuel line clean. I would start now, and every 10k miles, just add Royal Purple Fuel Cleaner, this will help clean out the fuel lines and I've always found it to work better than seafoam (I started this at 30k miles). When you add it, do it after an oil change and when your tank is near empty. Coolant, transmission flush, drive belt, I would get done. Clamps, have them inspected, and have the Upper and Lower Radiator Hose Inspected, they are designed to last at least 100k miles.

Finally, I wouldn't take it to the Kia dealership, I would have the mechanic to above said things, it'll be easier on the wallet :)

Did your boyfriend post here a few days ago? If he didn't, then someone here came with exactly the same issue, in exactly the same state.

Multiple of us recommended just buying a tool to remove the wheel locks off. They're on Amazon, and if you're gentle about them you can return them and just say they didn't work. With prime you could've had them off by now, and your car fixed.

I get you, it's frustrating. But for the future, if your car has locking wheel nuts then make sure that they key is always returned back. I never leave a dealer without checking if I know the wheels have been off. I honestly don't see Kia paying for this, as it would be by word that the dealer lost your key. You are responsible after all.

This could've been solved, with a purchase on Amazon or another site in 2 days. Or you could've just found someone who works on wheels that was willing to come out and remove them. I'm sure even in remote upstate NY, you would've found someone.

Here's a few examples

I have a 13 optima and my favorite has been this Spigen brand. I have a heavy phone and I have no issues with this. It holds very well. I usually put it by the mount next to the wiper control in the center far right and I run a small charging cable to my phone. It's been my set up for a few years. Looks clean also, good luck.

For sure

Here's what I've had since May, and they work great and I'm happy with:

I tried these first, and thought it was an overall regression on the stock halogens: Amazon link

iOttie Easy One Touch 2 Car Mount Holder for iPhone 6s Plus 6s 5s 5c, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus S6 S5 S4, Note 5 4 3, Google Nexus 5 4, LG G4-Retail Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JRGOKQ8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_MPlDwb80KNCR5

That's hands down the best one I've tried so far. I've tried vent clips and magnetic ones also, but that iOttie is incredibly sturdy and holds my phone (iPhone 6) perfectly.

They have to be positioned relatively central to the charging coil.

Simply put:

The energy in the charging coil has its polarity changed rapidly back and forth which reflects opposite in the coil inside the device being charged and created a current.

If the charging device isn’t relatively centered on the coil, the flipping polarity of the charging coil won’t reflect in the devices coil.

There is a system for a freely placed device on a charging pad to charge properly, or even multiple devices at once, but it’s expensive. It’s what Apple was trying to do with AirPower and they had issues. I wouldn’t expect a fringe feature in a car has that technology.

If you’re interested in wireless chargers, I recommend Anker. They price their stuff right while being reliable and standing behind their stuff.

I have a few of these all over the place. Night stands, desk, living room, at the office.

I use an Mpow adapter that plugs into the jack in the stereo of my wife's SUV. Works pretty good for music. Phone calls are OK, not as good as a built in unit though. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ML5GP72/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_TwnNDbNN1QHD2

I attempted to do that as well, but wound up getting a transmitter instead. Just in case your curious, it has fantastic quality.

I know they've got the Subaru stigma attached to them, but Hella's SuperTone horns are an amazing upgrade for not a ton of money.

This stuff is the best interior cleaner you can buy.

Both LED and HID bulbs require a certain wattage or amperage to work. This means their resistance is also different from a normal bulb. My 2016 Optima has built in safety feature where it will only supply power to the headlight if it reads the correct resistance. To get around the safety feature, you will need an HID or LED ballast that can both power the bulb and send the correct resistance to the ECU. Here is the one I used. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ND6PD9F/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_o.BODbJMV39DF

If you want too that is lol. I think it would look cooler.

2018 Sportage here with flush style rails. Look on Amazon, there are a ton of em available for decent prices. I think the ones I got were listed as compatible with Audi q3. They work like a charm and I have had no issues. I have a cargo basket mounted to them, bike rails, and kayak j hooks (not all at the same time) and have had no problems with them. The moon roof clears them easily.

Edit: can't seem to find them in my order history, but these are identical

rub the seals of the door with silicone grease (the best is Honda Shin-Etsu Silicone, but any cheap tube of silicone grease would probably do fine). I would imagine that pam would get sticky/tacky after awhile and be counterproductive.

Well I'm not sure how to help but share this on Amazon. I hate truck mounted bike racks because I don't want to scratch my car lol

Unfortunately car care can be somewhat expensive when you use the right products. I have a 2013 EX in SWP, so my garage is full of detailing products. Polishes, sealants, cleaners. You name, I've probably got it.
