Well in a camping trip with no power, or an RV with limited power, I would consider solar options. The one I linked is a rugged and water resistant solar option. There are also fast charging power banks which the v20, g6, v30 support.

I only buy diztronic cases. Other ones feel too huge or have a shitty, slick feel to them. I've dropped my phones plenty of times on pretty mild surfaces, so I'm not sure how hardcore the actual protection is.

Have it on all 3 of my LG G7 ThinQ phones--and it has bounced off the parking lot dozens of times. No damage. With or without holster. It adds a little bulk, but you get used to it quickly.
