Thanks for the link! We actually already replaced them with pretty much exactly that, although not that specific one. That's what I would recommend too, although situationally this can actually work really well too: https://smile.amazon.com/CRKT-Spork-Outdoor-Multi-Tool/dp/B0030IRKHA
It was actually posted as a mallninja item a few days ago. It's one of those things that's stupid unless you have a very specific purpose for it and then it's incredibly useful.
quick edit: It does have the same problem with the tines being too small, but if you happen to have nuts and bolts of the included sizes on your gear, it can help a lot with that. The titanium spork you liked is probably overall better for most situations. The latter is really very situational.
i doubt it. he's a self-published schlock writer
>It's almost Christmas, and Jessica is tired of playing the passive role. Being a meek and frail female has never been her thing, and she is done waiting. Even if Nick and her haven't had enough time away for the wounds... wounds her own despair had caused to be sure... to even scab over, it would be impossible to have the holiday without him. And so, she will set out to Kabukicho to bring her stray dogs back home. From there, maybe a vacation? As always, there's bound to be evil forces on the move and dark revelations; but that has become her life. It's a life she loves, and it's a life she will reclaim.
Imagine thinking that this would make people want to read your writing more. I love the semicolon + conjunction combination.
There are some comfortable earbuds with decent sound quality out there. This is one of the cheaper examples, and they're still pretty great.
I own a set of these . Same concept sorta.
They are awesome for pulling roasts or whole chicken out of a crockpot!
They are also pretty handy for shredding meat for pulled (chicken/pork) bbq sandwiches or enchiladas.
We bought them after my SO dropped a huge pork roast (coming out of the crockpot) using normal cooking forks... it exploded all over the floor. (fun night when you are feeding 8 kids...)
Balance, a good blade lock if it's a folder, a decent grip that won't let your fingers slide onto the blade if you stab with it, blade metal and shape (you want something that can stab and slash effectively while still being maneuverable). I personally really like this one for the handle, metal, and price point. You can get two and grind the edge off of one to use as a trainer. It doesn't have the fancy assisted opening options or an emerson wave, but it's still a solid piece of metal that holds an edge and stands up to EDC abuse.
But it also depends on your personal dexterity and ability. If you have a bit of a spare tire and fat fingers it might be hard to actually pull a folder out of your jeans pocket when you need to. So maybe a better self defense knife for you would be a fixed blade and sheath. Maybe you get sweaty hands when under stress and having to flick your wrist out to open the knife would send it flying across the room so you need something with an assisted open or a fixed blade.
The karambit is nice because of the retention ring, but it's bad because it's really only effective if you hold it the one way. It doesn't stab well and you need to be much closer to use it effectively than you would a straight blade of the same length. The curved blade makes for great trapping and cutting, though, even if it's fucking annoying to sharpen. I like the design of the Fox Dart since it's their folder karambit handle with a tanto blade and emerson wave, but the last time I looked at a Fox knife the lock was trash. And now I feel like I'm at peak mall ninja status.
tl;dr: a bunch of stuff from design to personal preference. Basically the same stuff that makes a meat cleaver bad at being a filet knife.
Fair enough. I bought one of these flashlight stun guns for my wife, it works well. It wouldn't immobilize someone, but just making it pop sends people ducking. Can also be used in your hand to punch and is a great flashlight and an okay strobing light. (Strobes hurt in the dark)
these titanium sporks are fing great. really light and pretty indestructible and not too expensive if you can find them on sale

What brand was it? I have the larger Kikkerland samurai umbrella, and it's one of the best umbrellas I've ever owned. Solid construction and makes a satisfying "thunk" sound when it opens.
What I love about the Amazon listing is two actual tools that are shown in the similar items section. They're a third of the MSRP and far more practical.
Stanley FatMax Xtreme 55-120 FuBar III
Dead On AN18 18-Inch Annihilator Utility and Wrecking Bar
Honorable mention:
Trucker's Friend All Purpose Survival Tool-Made in the USA
If you got 50 bucks and amazon prime you can get it! I bought the same one and my only issue was the gold bit at the top of the sheath coming out with the sword, but some super glue fixed that

Ha! I bought this knife! As gifts for my wedding party!
Actually, I bought the same style from a different seller. I chose it because it's a surprisingly practical camping knife with enough space on the blade to engrave a name and the date of your wedding (awwww!).
Here are some links to the same knife by various sellers. Despite the terrible presentation, I actually highly recommend this for it's practicality.
Hah I'm loving these suggesitons. My quick aside about knives was a reference to some actual purchases I made though. It's just I'm talking kitchen knives.
My favorite one I own is this bad boy.
I use an overhand pinch technique when I do most of my cutting, and this knife has this lovely little smoothed section where the blade meets the handle that makes it really comfortable to hold. Also holds an edge real well, so I don't find myself constantly needing to sharpen it.
You can get it from Amazon. According to one customer review it is
> a great purchase if you're planning for the apocalypse like me!
Who knew!?
I mean, they're the best if you want to look like a psycho.
You could always get one of those "practice" butterflies if you really wanted to.
Wow, thanks so much! I ended up buying this which is what I think the playboy one is knocking off.
I can't find one with that blade pattern, but I was instantly reminded of this. If you like that sort of rat-tang friction folder, there's also something like this.
Maybe this ?
