I have these roof bars on my 2012 Mazda3 hatch, and I'm happy with it. Price is way cheaper than the Mazda OEM bars. Some wind noise beginning at 40mph, but if you listen to music, it's easily tuned out.
As for the bike rack, you've got a lot of options here, but brand wise you're probably looking at either Thule or Yakima. I went with the Yakima Forklift and I love it. As long as you can easily pop off your front wheel, this is fast and extremely stable (plus if you buy the additional locking mechanism for like $20, the skewer key-locks your fork in place). You can't go wrong with Thule either, but I find Yakima is typically cheaper for a similar product.
I am one of the luminous idiots with a light bar in my lower grill(2017 3) tied to my fog light switch.
You can do it but you need to make sure it is not pointed far forward/up. I would suggest you tie it into the fog light, but using the high beams is an option. The problem comes about if the high beam circuit can handle the additional load. Each light will add 4 watts(really 3, but add safety margin.) so a total of 8 watts and 6 amps requiring a 7.5a fuse or the stock fuse +7.5(so 20a fuse stock, 30a fuse with lights). How you can get around this is by using a relay that gives ground when the power to the high beams and power coming directly from the battery with a 7.5a fuse. So when the high beams get power, it also grounds the light pods and turns them on without adding strain to the high beam circuit.
Another option is to use the fog light circuit, this is a great option if you don't have fog lights and is easier but more expensive. You swap a stalk with fogs into the car and wire into the fog light sockets and it will turn on when you turn on the fogs. What is great about this option is that it gives you the ability to use the high beams independent of the light pods and vise versa and because it uses the stock switch, you can have a cleaner install as you don't need to put a button anywhere. You can do the relay trick if you already have fog lights.
Personally I feel the narrow style of light pod like this would look better in either the upper or lower grill as it has less of the stock grill blocking it vs the square 12 diode model you linked to. Also for amazon links you don't need anything from the "ref=" onward, so your link should look like this: https://www.amazon.com/6000-6500K-Breathable-Driving-Motorcycle-Warranty/dp/B07FNFWFDD/
Is it this one? It looks pretty cool, but I don't put a case on my phone (I typically take pretty good care of them) and didn't want to stick a magnet on the back of it... esp since it has a textured back that prob wouldn't hold it very well.
Hi everyone. I made and uploaded a video, exclusively for r/mazda3. I created this video to help others in their purchase decision for LED modifications. This video is not to force you into the brands I'm listing below, but it's only a mere recommendation, and showing what worked for my car. For me personally, brightness, functionality, easy of install, and style were the biggest concerns, and these different combination of lights were what worked for my on my 2016 Mazda3 GT sedan. If you have any further questions, please feel free to shoot me a message.

Bi-Xenon HID Headlights, LED Tailights, and LED 3rd Brake Lights you see in the video are all OEM products. No product links will be posted for these, however are available at various different websites such as eBay or Amazon at your own risk to purchase and/or install. Hope this list will help you with your purchase in regards to any LED lights. As a disclaimer towards everyone, I want to make it clear that:
For Skyactiv engines, it is highly recommended that you use Mazda's own(Idemitsu) high molly GF-5 0w-20. Arguably it is one of the best oil for skyactiv engines

Remarkable Power MZ733E-C 2014-2016 Mazda 3 Fog Lights Clear Lens Bumper Lamps Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FL8DPWU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6A7xzbWN36XM3
This is the kit. I wouldn't say it's OEM quality, and I can't give it a full review since I just got it yesterday, but it seems all good right now. The lights are nice and bright and worked right away. You'll also need the light control stalk that has the fog light switch, which is also plug and play.

This is the video I followed for the install.
Make sure your cable is compliant. The one that came with it will work.
My AA works for both USB ports, the one in the console as well as the one above the cupholders.
You will see a AA icon on the main screen. Easiest way I've found to activate AA is to just click the "Navigate" button to the top left of the control wheel.
Lastly, I bought a 1' cable, link below, for the USB above the cupholders. When I get in I plug in my phone and it rests deep in the tray beyond the cupholders. The 1' is too short to use the phone much while plugged in, although you can, but this way you don't have a long loose cable cluttering the car up.

I tried to find a black cable, preferably with 90 angles, for ultimate camouflage, but I honestly couldn't find one that users consistently reported Android Auto compatability. Needs to be a good cable. The dark grey version of the one I linked looks nice enough.
Straight swap. It’s also pretty easy to change the bulbs without tearing the entire front end apart. You just need to loosen the under hood fuse box and swing it a couple inches aside to fit your hand in there. The bulbs also have a positive/negative connection that isn’t marked, so if you put them in and they don’t work- just flip the plug. They look fantastic.

First official post here. Wanted to share my 2017 Mazda3 Sport GS Automatic in Soul Red Metallic. Named her after Julianne Moore. I bought my 3 last June from Jeff Holley at Mazda of Toronto - like so many others, can't recommend this man enough.
I cleaned her up in time for Spring (Ontario, the snow is finally all melting after the recent brutal ice storm), picked up my summer rims and tires yesterday from Allen at Simply Tire in Toronto, and took a bunch of exterior and interior photos for you lovely folks:
See Photos Here
In case anybody is interested in some of the things I've since added to my 3, I'm including links!
Wheels: RTX Envy Black Machined Bronze 17x7.5 40mm offset
Tires: Hankook Ventus S1 Noble H452 215/50/17
Scuff Plates: Mazda OEM Scuff Plates
Hatch Sill Guard: Mazda OEM Rear Bumper Guard
Mats: Mazda OEM All-Weather Floor Mats
Hatchback Mat: Mazda OEM Cargo Tray
Dash Cam: Aukey DR02-CA 1080p Dash Cam (routed through the headliner, down through the driver's side weather stripping and hardwired into the fusebox)
Start/Stop Button Red Ring: Found on eBay for $3 CAD!
Alloy Gas/Brake/Dead Pedals: Also found on eBay for around $30 CAD, no drilling required
Phone Mount: iOttie Easy One Touch 3 mounted to the side of the storage space under the A/C controls. (Incredibly sturdy, clever mount/unmount mechanism, and hardly moves when on the road.)
Trunk Crate: CleverMade 46 Litre CleverCrate (Found at a much lower price and in red at Costco)
Hope you like!
Get this, I know you have tried something like this before but I promise the spigen one is superior in every way.
The only downside is that it will block the airflow of the vent somewhat when you have the phone attached.
My second choice would be the proclip but that one is around $60.
Get a stitched leather wheel cover. There are real leather one, but you can also get faux leather ones for cheap.
I got this one from Amazon for $8. It took me about 1.5 hours to stitch it on and it looks and feels amazing. It's holding up really well, still looks good after 2.5 years in Texas heat.
If you are going to buy a system at this cost for bluetooth, I would highly recommend just going with an aftermarket headunit from somewhere like Crutchfield along with a solution like this - https://www.amazon.com/SCOSCHE-MA1536B-2004-09-Single-Install/dp/B0007TJDD4 You can get bluetooth and more modern features, as well as better sound compared to the stock radio.
I had the same issue and I ended up going for an aftermarket deck and I'm glad I did. I installed it for the aux in, but I ended up not even using it. Instead it automatically pairs with my phone when I turn the car on and there's a mic that you put on the steering column for hands free calling.
I installed an older version of this deck with this dash kit. I also use a magnetic dash mount and it makes for a really clean wireless setup.
Here's a video of it installed. You can change the colours to match the vehicle though.
So it is actually a 3 part ordeal.
The actual fog lights since my car didn't come with them, and the stalk. Then I did some c-shaped drl since I have leds in my high beams and the factory drl doesn't work with leds, but then the c-shaped drl didn't work for a little bit so I bought the drl turn signals, and then the previous c-shaped ones started working again. I will just post all of my mods below:

I had my rims done by a local company, they are the factory 16" painted gloss black. My mazda emblem is actually a long story, but essentially it is just scuffed up with sand paper ready to be painted but I liked the look and stuck it back on the way it is. I have also installed car play, and 3D printed a shift knob. The factory bose system was a little lacking and put a small under seat sub in to help fill the sound, but am still not happy with it, so that's a future project.
Some near future plans for the car include the aero kit, and I'll post the links to those here too:

3D MAXpider. I bought the complete set in black on Amazon for $118. They fit very well. I took out the OEM carpet mats in the front seats per the instructions. For the rear sets, one is supposed to also remove the carpet mats but the MAXpider mat doesn't extend as far underneath the front seats as I would like. The MAXpider fits just fine on top of the carpet mats in the rear, so I left them. Here's the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IBOMS1Q/
I've also ordered the cargo liner for $82, that arrives tomorrow. I chose it over other brands because it folds when needed.
I'm not sure about 2010, but I got a Rola roof rack for my '12. Works pretty well. I recommend getting a wind-deflector though..
I bought these for my Gen 2 and love them. They've held up very well, don't move at all and look cleaner than weather tech on top of being cheaper. They should have an option for the Gen 3.
I bought a Spigen magnetic phone mount for cheap off of Amazon and it works better than I thought it would. It's mounted on the vent just to the right of the steering wheel and only covers about half the vent. Close to perfect positioning.
Just don't buy anything that glues to the dash/window (including the Scosche). It will unglue or make a mess from the heat if you're in a hot southern climate. I didn't like the vent mounts either but for the new model you don't have any good dash locations. I went with the spigen. It has a soft rubber surface and won't scratch your vent and the magnetic disc is super thin, I've had a few cheap ones and the difference in quality is huge.
If you don't want to block the vent, get the Proclip, your budget should cover it.
Wow those look really nice. Are these them? https://www.amazon.com/3D-MAXpider-Complete-Custom-All-Weather/dp/B00IBOMS1Q
So I just pulled the trim off by looking up some YT videos and then took the glossy trim out and then wrapped it with a basic 3M style vinyl wrap (link below). To pull the trim be careful not to pull in a odd angle, can crack or rip out the plastic tabs.
I used a hair dryer to heat up the wrap and then pressed it to the plastic. You can use a heat gun as well if you'd like. I recommend using a wrap that has micro perforations so the air doesn't get trapped easily.
Sorry I took so long to reply :) If you have more questions just let me know! Also it is a 2014 Mazda, so not many videos on this year or later, mainly vids for '13 and earlier.

I got this one from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Lemonbest-C0196-Universal-Steering-Stitch/dp/B00PC0G07A/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1486757630&sr=8-5&keywords=lemonbest
Much cheaper, and it works great. It's not really thick, but it has a nice soft feel.
I got them thru Amazon / link is below.. Easy to install I did it myself
Hope this helps...

Yes they are plug and play. Never heard of the brand but I got them quick and they have good reviews. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XHDYTGL/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i'd post a photo of my mazda3 with them but it's not any better than what the picture is on that link, they look good though!
I got 35 in the front and 20% in the back. The plate relocator is this one It doesn't block the turn signal, it attaches into the toe hook that's on the right side. It's great!
I've used the iJDMTOY one on my 2017 Mazda 3 Sport GT. Install was easy though I had to tighten the nut behind the plate after a few months. So I just put loctite on it.

You can buy a radio from walmart or Electronic Express that are pretty reasonable. Best buy and Electronic Express can install them for you too. The downfall to changing to that set up is you lose clock control "possibly the whole LCD display above the radio" and steering wheel controls. If you don't mind that then this is a much less expensive alternative.
Check this out. The OP also sent me this message:

They come with aset of H11 bulbs preinstalled so it's literally plug n play. I hope this helps!
Where are you seeing $100?
The exact model you linked is at Amazon for $21.11, with free shipping and 30-day free returns.
There are lots of very similar models on eBay from as low as $11 (search for 'Mazda 3 tow hook license plate'), also with free shipping, with some sellers having sold scores and even hundreds of them, between $11 — $20.
It's not exactly a hard-to-find or high-tech accessory.
Any of them would get the job done, if that clean-grille but off-center look appeals to you.
At $24, one could say it's priced slightly above the going rate, due to the brand name.
Yeah, it's this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00L9J4JRG/. I got the smallest one, 1 ft x 5 ft. I would really recommend ordering one of the squeegee smoothing cards also. I didn't have one, so I improvised with a card and it didn't work too well. I bought these for my next attempt: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PNPY5XX.
Goliton AUX 3.5mm Cable Connect iPod iPhone MP3 Phone Audio to Mazda Car Player (2 Meter Long)
I got this for my 2006 Mazda 3 Hatch, installed in like 20 minutes. Drilled a hole into my glove-box and routed it there.
Honestly, it does the job. There is a barely discernible whine noise in the background that only comes up when heavily accelerating... likely do to the extra electricity the car puts out.

Was approx 70 degrees today, i would expect it to be even higher in the summer.
Installing Racing beat axleback and a full set of Michelin CrossClimate + this weekend :)
you can get them on amazon. I got this one for my 2017 so i think it should fit a 2016 too.

Ummm... not really. It makes the car look good.. :) My opinion...
You can find it HERE
Honestly, I put them on after only owning the car for 1 day so I didn't have time to notice a difference. I would say they likely have a minor effect on noise with the windows down as mentioned below. Mainly got them for the look.
Bulbs
Replacing these light bulbs are as easy any changing any old light bulb.
Are you sure?
In my 06 all i had to do was pull the unit out and directly plug in the adaptor and a filter and I had aux.

I use the Scosche Magic Mount in a similar location to /u/noncil's Exo mount.
Works better for me because I've got the Note Edge, and most "grippy" mounts or tray mounts don't expand enough in the direction I want them to. Yeah, you do end up sticking a plate to the back of your phone, but it works so well I can't see myself doing it any other way.
It was this kitAmazon
I think I might try the corksport mount soon because I had to put a rubber shim on the bracket to keep it from spinning easily.
Just moved my license plate to the side on my 2018 Mazda 3 touring hatch.
Here's what I used if anyone's interested. It sticks out by an inch if you look at it from the sides though that's the only dumb part but to me it's worth.

I used this cable for my 06 hatch to get an auxiliary port.
Connects to an empty socket in the back of the head unit is routed to the armrest storage. It is a lot easier to do than you would imagine. There is a few tutorials on youtube.
There's a bunch of options, but for the price you can't beat this one. I had a slatted one and it sucked. There are others but few have adjustable positions. This one worked well because the location can be dialed in by using the different holes and pivoting the frame which is what I needed for my accessory grill lighting. I recommend you use loctite or a rubber washer though.
I use the brand ROLA for the roof racks for my2012 sedan. I've had them for almost two years and not one single problem. This one would probably work for your vehicle.

I've used this in 5 cars now, I can't not recommend it.

CarID sells them for about $100.
These are the ones I have. I just had to buy a new turn signal switch from Amazon.
I had a theme going on with my car.
Huh really?

These Bulbs are very good
Shark_and_kaya linked them above
These are what I used for the running lights. My car already had fog lights and these just replace the bezel. Your mileage may vary if you don’t have a fog light option from the factory.
This was the grille I chose. Replaces everything on the factory grille including the chrome trim that a lot of options leave. If you’re in North America and need a front plate the holes on this do not line up properly and you’ll need an adapter.
Same here but the buzzing noise bothered me a lot so I end up getting these.
