    Features:
  • 【Adjustable Microphone Boom Arm】 Conveniently adjust the angle and height of this mic boom arm to suit your vocal recording need—just loosen the adjustment knob and adjust the boom arm. It’s also easy to fold up and carry. Perfect for stage/studio recording, broadcasting, TV stations, and more
  • 【Stable Arm Support】 With the strong springs and metal positioning screws, the boom arm is compact yet stable enough to support a load of up to 3.3lb/1.5kg. And the springs don’t get in the way of tightening the adjustment knob
  • 【Desk Mounting Clamp】 The desk clamp has rubber padding to protect the desk surface from scratches and scuffs. Compatible with most desks with a desktop thickness of up to 2”/5.3cm
  • 【3/8” to 5/8” Screw Adapter & Mic Clip】 The 3/8” to 5/8” adapter allows you to mount a compatible microphone (like Blue Yeti or Blue Snowball) on the boom arm. It’s not compatible with Blue Yeti Nano which has a 1/4” thread mount. The microphone clip mounts a microphone with a shaft diameter of 1.26”/3.2cm to the boom arm
  • 【Cable Straps & Solid Base】 The five cable straps help organize your microphone cable and make the boom arm look neat. The base connector is solid for durable and reliable holding

IT'S JUST SO GREAT. (sorry about the dog hair, just got excited and had to post)

  • Corsair k70 RGB(old model)
  • Gamdias HEPHAESTUS
  • BIC Atlantis 1.6mm

If you can't tell, these all get daily use. The cans were an impulse buy because they were on sale some time ago, and I haven't regretted it a bit, they're little toyish but quite effective.

Keyboard was more or less the same, I had been using a Razor Lycosa for years that was a hand me down from a friend and I had just gotten really tired of a lack of clicks when typing. The fact that it has so many fun little RGB functions was just the icing on the cake, although I must say the switches are crazy sensitive, typing effectively took some getting used to.

The pens are pretty generic but I can't stop using the damned things, writes well on every surface, smooth roll, comfortable and the clip is actually metal (don't know what, it's magnetic though) so it doesn't break.

Alright, I hope I did this right, will post again when I've got things cleaned up a bit.

Ah, my bad. I owned the OG "Trackman Marble" (same name, but that thumb-ball form factor and in the beige era : https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-TrackMan-Marble-Wheel-Mac/dp/B00004L8IG )

I highly agree with your sentiment that the centered ball type/form factor was weird and unusable. But I do know someone who swears by it. Really weird.

I thought the new one was named the Trackman Marble too. But yes, I also owned that gray/red model (Trackman Wheel). And the wireless black/blue M570 that followed it.

Sadly, their microswitch quality has gone downhill in recent years. I would've moved on to the MX Ergo, but the prices are just insane and the microswitches are still prone to failure. I've since switched to gaming mice and am really happy with their crazy-precise sensors. I miss having a good thumb trackball though.

I also got an Elecom thumb trackball. It's like the Trackman Wheel, but with a few extra buttons, a better sensor and a fancier mousewheel. Feels alright to use. Would recommend if you're really sticking to that form factor. I don't know if I would've enjoyed it long-term but I eventually just gave mine to my sister's husband to use when his Trackman Wheel broke. He's been happily using it for a year.

I'd recommend Creative Aurvana Live, the first version. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ZJZ7OA?pf_rd_p=c2945051-950f-485c-b4df-15aac5223b10&pf_rd_r=6JT9VV5SN9KE8RMCSKNW

Extremely good bang for the buck, and probably the best you can get under $150 or so. Very easy to drive, don't need an amp, and sound great from anything I've plugged them into so far.

I seem to have inadvertently created a campfire theme :P

Board: ALF X2 board with Zealio 67g switches and GMK Camping keycaps.

Audio: Campfire Jupiter with iBasso DX150.

Writing: Kaweco Brass Sport (F) filled with Diamine Earl Grey

Edit: I probably should have put it in at the beginning but this is the desk mat Jestar World Map (Amazon). Its not bad quality, cheap, and looks great :) Especially on a wooden desk

Keyboard: WASD 61 Keys with custom cap colors (built on their site)

Headphones: Sennheiser HD 598 SR with open backs.

Pen: Baoer 388 with a medium nib

I want to buy a nicer pen but for right now this one (with Noodler's black ink) works perfectly. I use numbers a lot at work, so I plan on making a separate number pad soon, and I also am probably going to purchase a trackball to place between the keyboard and number pad. The headphones I bought on Prime Day for half their normal price (at the time).

They're better than nothing. Probably something firmer and taller would be better, honestly. not a lot of split options out there.

I must apologize. I got it wrong. On the clip it says "Vortex", not "Vector". I got it at a store in San Francisco. I think it was Midori? Anyway it was an impulse buy of a fairly cheap pen, but it writes very nicely and it looks even better when inked up with green ink.

I have tried the mouse OP linked for awhile, as my friend likes to buy new mice and never use them.

The mouse is Elecom DUO MMO and although the idea is okay, the buttons, and the way they pressed felt very cheap, and unsatisfying.

Keyboard: Huo Ji Z-77

Headphones: Sony MDR-7506 (been rocking these almost daily for ~7 years and just recently had to replace the original pair, my favorite headphones of all time)

Pen: Lamy Fine Tip Safari in Charcoal

The Neewer, for a cheap arm, it's pretty good.

u/KyPQ · 6 pointsr/mechanicalheadpens

Thx! Got the PBT keycaps from amazon link

I'd recommend it since you don't get much of the oil glossy looking keycaps made from ABS

u/Sparrow_xS · 1 pointr/mechanicalheadpens

Oh thanks! The mousepad is a BenQ ZOWIE G-SR, I really like it

u/Jysteus · 3 pointsr/mechanicalheadpens

Check out these
They’re a Bluetooth version of the rbh hp-2 which are pretty well regarded.

u/knifetography · 7 pointsr/mechanicalheadpens

I tend to habitually squeeze with my thumb while playing. If the thumbgrip had an area where that was possible without hitting a button, I'd totally use this.

EDIT: Found it: https://www.amazon.com/ELECOM-5000dpi-M-DUX70BK-operation-buttons/dp/B01AYUTUO2
