Some of this could definitely be withdrawl. But there is a good chance you have incurred some minor cardiovascular damage due to the excessive amounts of stimulation and dopamine being dumped into your body.
You likely need to see a cardiovascular specialist immediately and find an addiction recovery group.
Here is a good article on nutrition to help with recovery:
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/real-healing/201603/alcohol-or-drug-use-can-rob-your-body-nutrients
(some of this article is referenced below)
IF YOUR BODY TOLERATED THAT MUCH STIMULATION AND YOU DID NOT FIND IT TO BE TOO MUCH.
IT IS HIGHLY INDICATIVE OF A NEUROLOGICAL ISSUE SUCH AS
ADD / ADHD
DUE TO THE ABILITY TO TOLERATE THAT MUCH PLEASURE WITHOUT FEELING OVERLOADED.
Most people's body would have a hard time with that much stimulation.
It was likely that you were self-medicating to an excessive amount.
It seems to me like there is an aspect of something such as ADD mixed with an obsessive and addictive personality. Especially if these habits did not occur until after your GF left. Make sure she is aware of these issues and that you are taking this seriously and will seek help. OTHERWISE, YOU WILL LIKELY HAVE PROBLEMS AND RELAPSE. Plus a lack of transparency is a great way to destroy a relationship.
Personally I would ask around in your area for a good psychologist and primary care physician (ideally a functional medicine doctor). Then tell them all of these things and ASK to see a cardiologist.
THINGS YOU WANT TO ASK FOR / HOPE THEY TEST FOR:
Studies / Tests:
Labs Work:

Purely psychological anxiety doesn't make 100% sense. While that could be part of it, there has to be some other aspects at play. Anxiety is likely secondary to other issues such as cardiovascular injury.
NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE TELLS YOU pure psychological anxiety of no other origin would not cause the night time / sleeping issue where you wake up with a racing heart rate.
Things you can do / take to help (from the Psychology Today article and my own research):
If you have questions on ANY of these look them up on examine.com
IF NO brand is listed above try something from one of these manufacturers:
DO NOT BUY vitamins or supplements from any other manufacturer because they often only have 20-50% of the labeled dose or the type of supplement or vitamins maybe is not well absorbed. There may be other manufacturers that I did not list that are good, but I didn't have time to list them all.
does this person have active mrsa in a wound, sputum, etc., or just a carrier?
wiping the tub out with bleach after they bathe should be good enough. if they have it in a wound they should do their best to keep it covered and keep it from coming in contact with things you will be in contact with. they can wash the wound separately wit a designated wash cloth and warm, soapy water.
both of you should practice frequent hand hygiene!
if it weren't for the cuts you have, would say dont really worry about it too much.. just try your best to sanitize the bathroom after he/she uses it. good luck, maybe others will have some better advice/info.
here is a cdc info sheet about mrsa
edit: if you want, you could pick up some of these: http://www.amazon.com/PDI-Super-Sani-Cloth-Germicidal-Disposable/dp/B001GEZEAK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369771011&sr=8-1&keywords=sani+wipes
those are the wipes we use in the hospital to santize stuff MRSA people touch.
Yes, I'm planning to stay on Vitamin D and B12 indefinitely. I replied to another post last week describing my experience with fatigue. I'll copy and paste the relevant part below:
> I Started taking a B12 supplement (this is in addition to my daily multivitamin). I bought the type that contains methylcobalamin, which is the easiest-to-absorb form of B12. It's a cherry-flavored lozenge that you dissolve under your tongue.
If you happen to have pernicious anemia or Crohn's disease in your ileum (I initially posted this in /r/CrohnsDisease), it might be physically impossible for you to absorb enough B12. Ask your doctor about B12 injections!
> I also increased my Vitamin D dose to 3000 IU/day (this is also in addition to my daily multivitamin). A few years ago (in a period of remission), I was extremely fatigued, and having difficulty getting out of bed in the morning. I was diagnosed with a vitamin D insufficiency - my blood level was 24ng/ml. I started taking supplements (2000 IU/day), and when the level got up to 56ng/ml, I felt awesome! I decided to stay at that dose indefinitely. With this last UC flareup, my vitamin D level dropped back down to 41, despite no change in my supplements. I'm now slowly increasing my dose, and my doctor is sending me for blood work periodically to make sure I stay in a healthy range (currently at 3000 IU, and might increase to 4000 IU after my next blood test).
>For some background on the vitamin D dosing:
>A lot of researchers are now suggesting that the currently accepted "normal" range for blood tests is too low, and actually represents the minimum level we should aim for - and that the current recommendations for dietary intake are too low to even get us to that minimum! There's also a link between vitamin D deficiency and autoimmune diseases, though there's no definitive answer as to which comes first.
>From what I've read, and what I've discussed with my GI and primary care doctor, it's a good idea to increase to whatever dose you need to get your blood levels between 50 and 100ng/ml - there are some tips here for how to do so. (Although the dosages might seem high, they're safe - many doctors prescribe 50,000 IU per week for patients with severe deficiencies!)
Hey, it is obvious you have systemic issues of inflammation, possibly autoimmune.
Do everything your doctors say, but ALSO, you can do TONS with diet.
Of course do the natural anti-inflammatories: turmeric (with black pepper), Omega-3 oils (I use flax like melted butter and get algae oil-- that is where fish get their omega-3s), low on saturated fats, animal proteins, fried foods, refined grains and sugar.
If you can swing it I would do a four week trial diet.
Some amazing resources are:

https://www.amazon.com/Ultraprevention-Mark-Hyman/dp/0743448839 (There is a chapter on inflammation)
I would definitely watch the Forks over Knives movie!
Basically a whole foods, plant-based diet is what you are aspiring for. See how you feel on it.
I have been on the diet for 15 years, completely recovered from an "incurable" illness. And am about to enjoy delicious "mac and cheese" made from cauliflower over whole grain pasta.
Hey dude I understand what you have been going through. I suffer from the same thing and after a very long time I finally figured out some really good ways to deal with it. First a crucial thing is to deal with stress as stress will make your symptoms worse. Try some form of exercise such as swimming/running and do it on a daily basis. Also look into Meditation, yoga, or Tai-Chi. Also, when you do find yourself starting to get stressed try this breathing exercise. Slowly take a deep breath through your nose (remembering to use your stomach rather than chest for the inhaling part) and then slowly exhale out through your mouth while keeping a relaxed and slightly open jaw.
Believe it or not moisturizing is actually very important and can be very helpful if done correctly. When you put on a moisturizer (I would personally recommend Aveeno's oatmeal lotion) remember to FIRST apply (cold) water on the spot you are moisturizing. Following that, immediately put the lotion on the dry skin and gently massage it in. This technique will help to better hydrate your skin. Do (not) take hot showers (even lukewarm can be detrimental sometimes). Your best bet is to attempt to do cold showers or just slightly warmer than cold showers. Try to use unscented shampoo and conditioner preferably with an avocado base. Remember to very gently lather it into your hair. As soon as you are finished showering (pat) rather than rub your body dry (including your face) and do the apply the moisturizer to help seal in the water from the shower.
Finally here are some links to amazing oils and creams that help to rejuvenate the skin and are high in omega 3's, antioxidants, and amino acids.

Ok, so it’s the ulnar nerve. Tingling in the fingers can be caused by an injury anywhere in the nerve, such as the wrist or the elbow. If you have pain in the wrist, and none in the elbow, it’s probably the wrist, but I can’t say for sure. You can try touching the ulnar nerve in your elbow on both sides and seeing if it’s more sensitive on the affected side. You can see the location on Wikipedia, but basically when you hit your “funny bone” and it hurts, you’ve actually hit the ulnar nerve. But don’t hit it now, just press with your finger and see if it hurts more on one side.
Anyway, the cause of your injury is probably mechanical. This can be pressure on the nerve for an extended time (sleeping on it), or overuse (RSI). Perhaps a combination. What kind of activities do you do with your hands? Computer use? Playing games? Exercise? It’d be good to rest the affected arm. For example, if you use your phone a lot, you could try moving it to the other pocket and holding it with the other hand.
For sleeping, you can fold a towel and wrap it around your arm, using some tape to secure it. It doesn’t need to be too tight, the idea is more to give you some padding and to keep you from bending your arm or wrist. You can wrap it around your elbow with your arm straight. This would work pretty well for your elbow, so you don’t need to get an elbow brace.
If the problem is more with the wrist, and there’s an RSI component, I think it’s more important to allow it to rest during the day, by wearing a brace for a week or two (you can take it off at night). I think that’s hard to do without a proper brace, though. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CT5VKV5/
If the price is too high, you may be able to find a used one locally, on Craigslist or something. People usually use these for a limited time and then just keep them.
But actually, you may be able to just splint it yourself. Get a long, flat piece of metal, wood or plastic, and place it on the back of your hand and forearm, going over your wrist. Then wrap gauze or a strip of cloth around your forearm and hand, going around your thumb too. Look at the professional RSI braces for inspiration.
I’ve found that some tonsil stones smell and some don’t. Ones that get stuck for tool long usually start to smell, but I can always taste them too.
My rule of thumb is if you can’t taste anything off after drinking clean, plain water, you’re probably okay. I also invested (like $2 for a 1 pack at Walmart) in a plastic tongue scraper with a soft, rounded end:
Brosive Tongue Cleaner Scrapers for Oral Care Tounge Scrapers Brush Great for adult kids (4 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XFM5ZTR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_P-IgDbA3YB38S
This allows you to get rid of tongue bacteria that could infect tonsil stones and make them smell worse, improves breath, and you can use the other end to get stones out if you nails are a bit longer.
I’m actually getting my tonsils out soon because of recurring infection. You may want to consider that if you’re getting stones on a weekly basis.
Best bet is to get it checked by a skin specialist, if possible.
Also, what I would do is get a small ruler and photograph it semi regularly (maybe write the date on yourself as well so you have all relevant data within the image). The reason for this is to self monitor for size changes.
For best clarity, don't bring the camera right up close to yourself. Cameras have a minimum focal distance, closer and it just ends up blurry. You want crisp, clear photos so you can monitor small changes. Depending on the size, you may want to get a usb microscope to get more acurate closeups of the edges.
Ouch! Did you try to get the sliced-off bit to reattach? If you'd gotten medical attention right away, they probably could have gotten it to reattach. If it's gone, you'll be left with an extremely thin skin covering over the bone, and given the location, there's a pretty big risk of breaking through to the bone accidentally in the future. Hopefully it will form a thick scar, but there's not much skin to work with there.
I really think you should seek professional medical attention, but if you can't or really don't want to, I'd definitely recommend keeping it bandaged as long as there is any liquid discharge at all, or any scab still present. When it's fully healed over, you might want to invest in something like this https://www.amazon.com/PediFix-Dexterity-Fabric-covered-Protector-Visco-gel/dp/B0045VJONE?th=1 to protect it when using your hands at least for the first couple of weeks after it's healed over.
My friend got one as well, it came and went until one day it became infected and I had to drain it. You might be allergic to a chemical in the deodorant you use. Try switching to a different brand. If it persists, this deodorant worked well for my friend. You do have to put it on at least twice a day, but it’s all natural.
Edit to add: friend hasn’t had this problem come up in the past 2 years he’s been using this product. If it still persists, I recommend going to a dermatologist.
I have EDS and many of us struggle with finger joint dislocations. I've seen many swear by these knuckle splints (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GK8WX6A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_tL4jDb9WS84PQ). Never used them myself but they might be worth a try. Best of luck!
A pulse oximeter can be purchased online or at most pharmacies for $20 - $40. It will give you a ton of insight into what's going on, especially if you get a more advanced one that shows your plethysmograph like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NATPX6I/. This can alert you to basic arrhythmias like PVCs as well.
The heart's job is to keep organs oxygenated (perfused). The general consensus is that as long as it's accomplishing this, there's no such thing as too low of a heart rate.
Hey, you're okay. Try and calm down. You don't even know that you have diabetes. There's other reasons for this. Try and get one of these, sleep with a pillow at the bottom of your bed so you don't hit the foot board, and try and get some better fitting shoes. Check your feet daily for any open wounds or redness.
Care Touch Diabetes Testing Kit - Care Touch Blood Glucose Meter, 100 Blood Test Strips, 1 Lancing Device, 30 gauge Lancets-100 count and Carrying Case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076VSN7TR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_M2oYDbETM8GH3
After a vacation the Dominican and playing volleyball there I suffer from mallet finger. Went to urgent care just to get an x-ray and all they did is give me an aluminum splint and wrapped it in a bandage material.
After 6 weeks which was the recommended timeframe to keep my finger straight, my finger still looked the same. I went to amazon and found many people praised this item. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GK8WX6A?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
It allows my finger to have fresh air vs being wrapped (as my finger started to get real smelly). It also holds the finger straighter than what the doctor gave me. They sent me a bill for $180 which is what I’ll have to pay, but this is a classic example of highway robbery.
Any experience with these amazon splints or in your opinion is that a good idea. I just don’t know how much longer to wear it and what to do afterwards when it is removed.
It definitely would, but not with a regular bath tub. If you get something like this
Foot Soaking Bath Basin - Large Size for Soaking Feet | Pedicure and Massager Tub for At Home Spa Treatment | Relax and Add Hot Water, Epsom Salts, Essential Oils | Callus, Fungus, Dead Skin Remover https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JGB83F2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9h4uDb6B5BFG9
You add hot water, and whatever salts you want, I recommend Himalayan salt and it exfoliates it. Another thing that I have tried for my girlfriend is going to the beach and rubbing her feet with sand and some red clay. Sand will work just fine. After I rubbed her feet with that for about 20 minutes, they felt like baby butts. They also get very sensitive after, since it’s a whole new layer of new skin so beware of that.
I use a Carrier Stick. It’s supposed to be used with essential oils but Works great for really dry skin or lips. It gives a good barrier https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01DCISM4M/ref=mp_s_a_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1549678490&sr=8-3&keywords=carrier+stick
So sorry you are dealing with this. I find these to be incredibly painful. This cream has been a godsend to me. It’s hard to find in stores, but available online. Name is Tranolane, and can be used for other skin issues since it has no odor.
Best of luck! Tronolane Anesthetic Cream for Hemorrhoids, Dual-Action Formula, 2 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GG6CGE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5v6HDbEN0GJG9
Just logged back in. Yeah, I'd say 95% of the itch is gone now. I bought funga soap as /u/666isbad suggested and it worked within 1-2 weeks. I should note that I used this in conjunction with the ointment that my Dermotaloist gave so it's hard to say how much benefit the soap had by itself. But I don't care as long as it's gone.
Here's the soap I bought; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HNWNXAW/
I recommend one that has tea tree oil like this does.
Something like Mepitel would be ideal. It stays in place for up to 14 days, won't stick to the wound, but will keep it moist enough to heal properly without scarring. After applying that to cover the wound, put some non-stick sterile absorbent pads over the Mepitel to absorb any extra moisture. Then wrap the entire thing in gauze.
You'll have to call around to find where to buy the Mepitel if you don't want to get it online, but the rest you can find at any pharmacy/drug store. If you can't manage to find it, you can make do with just the non-stick pads and gauze.
Ideally, you want to keep the wounds as dry as possible, and as free from irritation as possible.
Luckily for you, I'm the author of The Complete Guide to Natural Healing of Varicocele!
I've helped hundreds of clients so far, and from surveys and talking with many of them, I have found out that my treatments are good enough to completely cure of pain, improvement in fertility, a 30-50% reduction in varicocele swelling, and a stop of varicocele progression (increase in size/symptoms). Only a few of my clients have noted a complete reduction in varicocele size.
The reason why natural treatments work is because they address the root cause of varicocele development e.g. unhealthy testicles, the nutcracker effect, poor bowel health, various poor lifestyle habits, etc.
I hope that helps! Shoot me a message if you'd like to learn more. Here are 4 varicocele treatments that you can access right now that will help demonstrate the effectiveness of my treatments.
