Sorry, initially, I had a little chuckle because I thought she was taking it and using it herself, recreationally. But after reading your post, I want you to know it it ABSOLUTELY not ok that she is taking your medicine and throwing it away. You are an adult and she has no right to take any possession of yours away from you. Especially a medication.
I'm sure she justifies it by telling herself it's an "illicit" substance and since you live under her roof, yada yada, yada. But that still doesn't make it right.
You have some options. You can move out on you own. While it will increase the cost of living for you significantly, at least you won't have to worry about her stealing your medication. You can offer to pay her rent for your room, which will effectively make her entering your room and taking a possession, theft and can easily be morally and legally defended. Or, at the very least, buy a lock box or small safe to keep your medicine in.
I use medical marijuana and although I usually vape it, I do have edibles from time to time. They are very secure and they don't cost much.
