I don't know if there is anywhere local that makes/sells fresh cream cheese, but I do know that it's really easy to make. You need 2 cups of milk (I use Oberweis because it is low-heat pasteurized) and 2 cups of cream (you can use half and half if you are worried about the calories), plus some salt, and a cheese culture starter.
Put the milk, cream, and culture in a big mason jar (or any other glass container) and stir it together kind of gently, then let it sit out with some cheese cloth covering the top. In my house in the winter, my kitchen is like 60F, so it takes 14+ hours, in the summer my kitchen is whatever the outside temperature is, so it will take more like 7 hours, you're looking for the mixture to firm up like greek yogurt.
Once you are that far, wrap your curd up in some cheese cloth and let the whey drip out until you have the firmness you want, then mix in sea salt to taste.
I usually get up in the morning and start the culture, then start the drain after work, and the next morning I have perfect delicious cream cheese, meaning the whole process takes 24 hours, but it's not that much work.
[This book from Scott Kelby]()http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Photography-Book-Part-2nd/dp/0321934946/ is great for beginners and really helped me a lot when I first started, it skips all the technical talk and goes straight to how to get those great shots.
Not sure what is out there now but I know that when I started learning by myself almost all of the books out there where either too technical or complete garbage as a learning tool, lots of books out there that are more like the authors personal portfolio and this is the one that actually taught me in an easy fun way.
There are 3 books on this series but I don't really recommend the other two unless you really like the book and like the author style because they are more like an expansion of the first book and not as good bang for your buck.
I don't know of one in particular that I can recommend, but I do know that there are a lot of great resources out there to help you. Here is one of my favorites: http://uavcoach.com/.
And here's a great post with a section for drones under $200: http://uavcoach.com/buy-a-drone/.
If you've never flown an RC aircraft though, just get something like this to practice without any fancy features (i.e. FPV) to interfere: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0157IHJMQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Rb4MybYZTM50M.

Spectrum is fine, if you can get AT&T Fiber go that route. Check to see if you're able to get Fiber here;
https://www.att.com/internet/fiber.html
(Note, only their 1000/1000 speed is 'uncapped' -- the rest of their offerings, Fiber or DSL has a data cap)
For Spectrum, you're looking at:
200/10 (or) 400/20 (or) 940/35
The base tier is fine for the vast overwhelming majority of people. You'd probably know if you needed more speed than the base tier (Eg: Off site backups, serving up Plex to friends/family..etc) Spectrum also has no data caps on any of their speed tiers. You'll use a Spectrum modem (which they provide for free) but use your own router as they do charge a monthly fee for wifi. As far as what networking gear to get, that's easy.
Get yourself
https://www.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-EdgeRouter-Advanced-Gigabit-Ethernet/dp/B00YFJT29C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1534877933&sr=8-1&keywords=ubiquiti+edgerouter + https://www.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-Unifi-Ap-AC-Long-Range/dp/B015PRCBBI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1534877954&sr=8-3&keywords=ubiquiti+access+point
and have worry free wifi. Don't bother with routers from Asus/Netgear/TpLink..etc. They're comparatively junk next to the ubiquiti equipment.
If you're going with Spectrum, use your own Wifi infrastructure. The Ubiquiti stuff linked above is a fantastic solution. The Spectrum provided modem will work fine, regardless of the tier you subscribe to
The 400/20 tier will probably get you an Arris TM1602 which is an absolute piece of trash as it uses the Puma 6 chipset. Read more about that here;
https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/consumers-file-class-action-lawsuit-against-arris-for-defective-cable-modems-300433510.html
If you do sub to the 400/20 tier, I then suggest picking up your own modem, specifically, the Netgear CM600 as it does not use the Puma 6 chipset, but rather, a Broadcom BCM3384 and is an 'approved' modem by Spectrum.
The base tier as well as the Gig tier with Spectrum will get you a satisfactory modem at no additional cost.
Milwaukee has been activated as a "Gig" market for Spectrum, and has been for 4 months or so.
This means a speed of 940/35 is now available for most--if not all of the area. The gig tier does require a $200 technician visit as well as a Spectrum provided modem. Customer owned modems are currently not being provisioned for the gig tier. The Spectrum modem is a Technicolor TC4400, but there is no monthly charge for using the Spectrum provided modem.
Wyze Cam 1080p HD Indoor Wireless Smart Home Camera with Night Vision, 2-Way Audio, Person Detection, Works with Alexa & the Google Assistant https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076H3SRXG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5c0QDbR6FT67J.
Can’t recommend this thing enough. I was skeptical about a <30$ camera but this thing is great. HD. Push notifications to my phone when motion is detected. Facial recognition so you only get alerted when it’s a person and not the wind blowing something around. Custom time settings for when you want the alerts. Free cloud storage for the 15 seconds after a face is recognized. I saved a lot of money going with these instead of ring.
Anything mid-range is fine. Ultimately, unless you want to lug a 20lb chain around, any sort of U-Lock or mid-range chain lock is sufficient for temporary lock-ups.

I've used both of the above at places like Bradford Beach, restaurants downtown, and Bay View on pretty nice bikes without ever having a problem. Make sure you lock up your front wheel as well, I see a ton of pretty average bikes sitting there without front wheels cuz somebody just used the quick-release and walked off with it.
If you are like me, a late night visit to Amazon Prime ordering this https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QXM3U8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to be delivered tomorrow. The house I live in was on the "lead list" and was built in 1917. I guess there is a nice symmetry in using Amazon.com/smile and having selected "Charity:Water" (Mission: charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations) as my charity of choice? Egh.
My sister is easily fooled by stuff like this, so when I took her to Shakers, she wanted a reading. I got to sit in and listen. The "psychic" said that we were very lucky to find each other and that we make a great couple and will be very happy together. We never told her that we were brother & sister, and tried pretty hard to not laugh out loud. It was a good time, but please, do yourself a favor and read this book:

Oh, like handbill sizes! That's a great idea! Thank you!
Martha Dreams of Dinosaurs is a kids book, for sure. And it's wonderful. I bought a copy for my 3-year-old-daughter and she loves it.
This Road Must Go Somewhere (And Other Things I Told Myself) is not a kids book. It's a book about suicide and grief. It's good, but it's raw. $8 from every $10 book goes directly to NAMI.
Buy My Book: Not Because You Should, But Because I'd Like Some Money is stupid and fun, but only appropriate for anyone old enough to buy it with a credit card.
Not Pictured on the poster, but at the event, will also be The Status Game II: Dashboards and Gages which is about how people connect with others.
A short but good chapter on Wonderland (among other oddities) in Carl Swanson's Lost Milwaukee WorldCat; Amazon; Milwaukee Independent; OnMilwaukee. It skews toward parks and attractions like entertainment and infrastructure along the rivers and Lake, rather than the architectural/built environment, but lots of fun stuff. Cheers, Carl.
For lost architectural gems in Milwaukee, pre-historic (lol) preservation, you'll want Yance Marti's Missing Milwaukee, WorldCat; GoodReads; RadioMilwaukee; OnMilwaukee.
Then there's always the obligatory selfish plug for my prewar apartment buildings map for anyone who gives a shit.
The main reason Milwaukee annexed westward like this (leaving the city boundary to appear like fingers) was to reach out to the overall goal of annexing into Waukesha County. Read "Greater Milwaukee's Growing Pains", it's a great book.
https://www.amazon.com/Greater-Milwaukees-Growing-Pains-1950/dp/0938076167
Second this as well. John Gurda is one of the most well-known Milwaukee Historians.
For a college class focused on Milwaukee we read John Gurda's The Making of Milwaukee and Patrick Jones' The Selma of the North, which as you guest it, talks about the civil rights movement here in Milwaukee.
Both are quick reads that are easily available and relatively inexpensive. If you live in this city and want to know more these are two great places to learn about the history.
Oh that's awesome! Just be aware that Civics of that vintage are high theft targets, both cause parts are easy to sell off and also cause they're easy to steal. It's not just Milwaukee... that car would be a target in most big cities. Get some backup auto protection like this
http://www.amazon.com/CL606-Brake-Vehicle-Anti-Theft-Device/dp/B000L9T7AY
Steering wheel clubs aren't that effective because it's very easy to cut through the steering wheel with a hacksaw.
If you want to bone up on the subject I recommend reading Selma of the North and watching Vel Phillips: Dream Big Dreams
We're also in the middle of the 50th anniversary of Fair Housing Marches, there are events going on if you are interested in learning more in person.
Hi there! Local independent author here. I will be reading from and signing my second book, Moving Forward, at Sugar Maple. This will take place on Sept 19, from 7-9pm. Free event, and books are $10.
A bit about my book: After my high school sweetheart committed suicide, I went on a series of road trips following the last band we saw together for about a year. I wrote a book on this--the physical and mental journey I went on during that year (https://www.amazon.com/This-Road-Must-Go-Somewhere/dp/173255742X/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=).
I've recently written a follow-up to that book, which is a series of essays on the mental journey I went on after this physical journey was complete. More information on what I'm doing here: https://beckysquestforreason.com/
I will be reading an essay from this book, and if you're into it, there will be an informal chat on overcoming hardship, being open about mental health, and questions on the resources we have within the city.
Hope to see you there!
Also be sure to check this out. I read it years ago and just bought my own copy recently.
