I found a guide for setting up USB-Host, and it sounds like you can use a USB flash drive with an adapter on the back of the SNES Classic. The guide mentioned a left-angle OTG adapter which you can buy on Amazon. I looked at a couple stores this weekend and was surprised that these adapters seem to be hard to find at local stores. I don't mind buying one from Amazon though.

Sorta -- 8bitdo makes a wireless SNES adapter. It's compatible with wiimotes which are compatible with the SNES classic controller.

I'm not aware of anyone testing this out yet, but in theory you should be able to plug a SNES classic controller into a Wiimote, pair it with the 8bitdo adapter, and use it with your original SNES console.

I don't expect it to ever be possible to directly plug a SNES classic controller into a SNES console; the voltages used by the original SNES controllers and the SNES classic controllers differ.

I've got My Arcade's 2 button and 4 button NES Classic controllers. Both work really well. Hopefully this one will too. On the 4 button, everything is mapped the same as a Wii Classic Controller.

I think about 5 feet? I'm not sure, but I bought longer ones, 10 feet, off of Amazon. Now it's long enough that I can pull the system out right next to me when I play and the controller length isn't an issue anymore, plus I can hit reset on the system without having to get up and walk to the system.

Instead of buying an adapter, you can also try one of those. Have two for my PI and it's working great.

YOu might try one of the Cheap HDMI signal splitters -- some of them actually strip the HDCP requirement and would allow the signal to be passed to the display

For that price it might be worth trying ! ( IF you look at the comments for the splitter on Amazon many people have reported that it does indeed strip the HDCP signal and works with many older recording devices that are not HDCP compliant - so it might work for your display !)

I ordered this Raspberry Pi 3 kit on Amazon and had it up and running with NES, SNES, Genesis, Atari 2600 and some MAME games in about an hour. I am decently savvy with PCs, so I had an edge, but I followed these instructions to help me out.

You don't need your SNES Classic, just a joystick and some ROMS.

The unpatched chd comes out to around 270mb. Space isn't really an issue for me though because I have one of these along with a 64gb flash drive hooked up to the back of the system.
