Not literal cookies but my cats love Temptations cat treats . That link is for the catnip flavor but they have others like seafood, salmon, chicken, etc. They’re also available at stores like Target & Walmart and also comes in smaller pouches, but the larger tub is a better buy for my greedy kitties :)

So happy Karen did Fatty Arbuckle! I read a fantastic book on the case called Room 1219. I pass by the St. Francis at least once a month or so and always look up at the 12th floor and think of Virginia and Roscoe! Also, agreed with the ladies re: Buster Keaton. Would do. Comedy genius. The book I linked to above has some really funny stories of pranks and hijinks Keaton & Arbuckle got up to off set.

I could recommend mine. I'm a published author and a film director. My latest book, THE GOBLIN, is new on Amazon and is also a just released feature film, also on Amazon. Check out the movie trailers to see if you might want to read the creepy book. It is a Fantasy/Horror/Thriller about a paranoid recluse mother who keeps a seven year old boy locked in the cellar in the 1920s.

Ooh, fun! I've been trying to think back to what got me interested in crime and murder, because it's always been an interest for as long as I can remember. I'm pretty positive it was Columbine that really got me, though - I was 7 at the time and I found the Newsweek about it on our kitchen table, so I grabbed it at started reading. My dad freeeeeaked out and took it away from me, tried to hide it, and told me that wasn't 'kid appropriate' reading material (which, to be fair, is true... but bby me didn't want to be told that!) so then I went out of my way to find it again, read it all, and I was hooked.

Then when I was a few years older, my sister and I went on a roadtrip with our grandparents to different National Parks in the US, and we were encouraged to get a book at every gift shop. We both chose ones about death ("Death in Yellowstone" is still a nostalgic favorite to me. Reminds me of being a kid. A weird, fucked-up little kid) and it... kind of backfired on our poor grandparents. They wanted to encourage our reading skills, so we would read aloud in the car. After reading about a man being boiled alive in a geyser, we were asked to just read silently for the rest of the trip :'D

read (if you haven't already) Whoever Fights Monsters!
I STRONGLY recommend the audiobook, Tom Perkins narrates it and his voice is amazing for this book!

My house got robbed last April and I immediately bought wifi security cameras after that. They helped recover a lot of the feeling of safety I had lost. Plus, it's nice to see when packages arrive and whatnot.

The kind i bought are from an Amazon company called Blink. They are motion activated and can be put almost anywhere (even in trees!) so you can watch more than just your front porch if you need.

Yikes, their nicknames alone are pure nightmare fuel. The Vampire Rapist John Crutchley and The Angel of Death Genene Jones

The book they discussed sounds awesome. Whoever Fights Monsters: My Twenty Years Tracking Serial Killers for the FBI Written by: Robert K. Ressler Amazon Kindle eBook, Barnes and Noble Nook eBook, Audible Audiobook Anyone else planning to read/listen along with the unofficial MFM book club? It looks like STEVEN! already has his copy (and a fidget spinner).

The Guy Fieri stuff was hilarious, but this picture on the MFM instagram is freaking glorious. Wow!

For those that travel for a living... this is what I use. Apparently the door jammer has been known to slide on certain surfaces. The Addalock doesn’t! I love it.

It might! It is hard to say, because I don't know your sister, but it can't hurt. I also recently picked up The Sociopath Next Door by Martha Stout.

This is a good read, and it really shows how awful the Italian justice system was. https://www.amazon.com/Monster-Florence-Douglas-Preston/dp/1455573825

This is article is why I started listening! My friend sent me this article and recommended the podcast. :D

They're right though, fuck politeness, there's a reason your intuition is saying GTFO so never ignore it to not seem like a bitch to anyone. Especially a stranger, fuck them. In that vein I'd like to recommend The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker for anyone who has not read it. He explains how important it is to heed these warnings from ourselves. He also mentions how women are so conditioned not to offend and to ignore that shit and stay fucking safe and sexy when you know things are wrong.

u/AnimalAbroad · 3 pointsr/myfavoritemurder

Found it! By following your lead. Thank you. decal

I wrote a book I thought the MFM community would enjoy, and it's free today! It's called Mother Of. The story follows the mother of a recently-caught serial killer trying to come to terms with what she did and did not know about her son. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078NBYCYN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_38xVDbPRXYER0
