followed by Maraquan cream broth. For the main let’s go traditional, roast pork, Meridellian Style Mashed Potatoes
and grilled veggie platter
for the table. Holiday feasts are always finished off with holiday cookies so candy cane cookies
and a holiday wocky cake
for dessert and plenty of drink flowing between courses! Finally we’ll end it all with a nice mug of hot chocolate.

While Thad is content to find a nice place and sit Sol is always gogogo. She loves learning new things and exploring everything. She’s been dying to upgrade her telescope and while Captain Tuans Collectors Telescope
is probably too big for a stocking (unless it’s bigger on the inside!) and not super portable perhaps a smaller quality one
could be found. She’d also like a copy of Backpacking Across Neopia as that’s the dream!

3rd) Bouquet of Flowers Parasol, Dark Prism Forest Background
*virtual hug Feeling down is the worst. I just came back from the dark side not too long ago myself. I hope things get better for you soon <3
Three free casual mobile games I'd recommend are Neko Atsume, DragonVale, and The Arcana.
So… *cough I was gonna write a quick explainer thing about each app and I ended up writing quite a bit. *cough*

Neko Atsume
App Store / Google Play / Amazon
Neko Atsume is a very zen game about getting virtual kitties to visit your yard. It’s super cute. You put out toys for the cats to play with and they reward you with fish, which you can use to buy more toys for them to play with.
Features
Cost
Free! No ads unless you choose to view one. You can spend real money to buy “gold fish”, but you earn gold fish playing the game and can convert regular fish to gold fish.
Time Investment
App still receives occasional updates a few times a year. No time-limited events so far. It’s very much go at your own pace. I checked the app 3-4 times a day for 5 minutes at my peak obsession.
---
DragonVale
App Store / Google Play / Amazon
DragonVale is a game about breeding dragons and decorating a massive floating dragon park.
Features
Cost
Free! Like the Sims Freeplay, all actions take a certain amount of time to complete, and you can skip waiting by using gems, an in-game currency you can buy for real money. If you don’t pay for gems, the game is 100% free, and IMO that is very doable since you can earn gems in-game. I earn about 14ish gems a day.
Time Investment
It’s a slow burn. I usually play about 30 minutes a day, after doing my Neopets dailies. It’s not a game you can binge, since everything is tied to a timer. A lot of the fun is slowly building up your park over years. There are quite a few seasonal events, but everything returns, so don’t worry if you don’t get a limited thing right away.
Extra
If you start playing and are looking for an online fan-community, I’d highly recommend THE DragonVale Community Forums. Similar to our own subreddit, it’s a small, friendly, and older crowd (very often frequented by grandmas and grandpas). It even has its own cultural quirks… Koala!

The Arcana
App Store / Google Play
O.K., so this is a choose-your-own-adventure fantasy mystery romance story. Really not sure if that’s what you’re looking for, but I’m enjoying it right now so I’ll recommend it anyway. You play as an apprentice magician / fortune teller. You choose your character’s name and gender. It’s not quite as corny as the screenshots on Google Play suggest!
Features
Cost
Free! Some choices cost coins, however you can earn coins once a day from the app.
Time Investment
There is about 1-2 hours of content, depending on how fast you read.
I play discreetly at my office, but I'm fortunate to have a computer that faces away from everyone I work with. One thing you can get that could help is a privacy screen for your desktop monitor like this.
I also make sure not to do anything that sounds suspicious, like playing a game where I'm hitting a lot of keys. I even got a silent mouse so my coworkers can't hear how much I'm clicking. And yes, I do still get all my work done! xD
Yaaaas I am always open to suggestions when it comes to art stuff!! You've blessed me - thank you!! I'll take it over Noodlers if it dries faster. The more I work with inks the more I discover I tend to be impatient :P
I wanted to try fountain pens for some time but I've been afraid of my meaty hands busting the tip lol. Do you have any you'd recommend?
Playin with copics and other traditional media is still pretty new to me! My secret copic method is: "colour over everything like 80 times"
I wanna get my hands on this when I can; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073WXLFVD/?coliid=IDQZ2APDTKAWI&colid=ZDR1T4BUHB1I&psc=1 but then again I have no idea what I'm doing here either! is there another brand of watercolours you've liked using?
also AAAAA what thank you!!! I'll give it a shot!! :D
Oh, nice. That is a really good name, but I'm even more attached to Giddon than to him being a Vandagyre, if that makes sense? Giddon's a character from one of my favorite books, so I'm really happy to have him. :)
Thank you so so much for offering! I can't believe the kindness of the people in this community. :)
Ohhh I was using noodlers ink for a bit too! I fell in love with flexible-tipped fountain pens a while back, and I tried a few inks, including noodlers and pelikan- this one in particular! https://www.amazon.com/Pelikan-Bottled-Fountain-Brilliant-329144/dp/B001TBM2XC
I actually found pelikan dried faster in my experience, and I ended up preferring it! Though if noodlers is working well for you, then you don't need to fix something that ain't broke, as they say lol
Oh and copics, huh? I have some myself and my guess was a toss up between copics and watercolors ehehe
I think the inking pushes it into looking more like paints, but I can tell you also have some very nice copic techniques. She looks great!
You should enter this in the BC! I'll take a look for her next week ;)
i'm gonna use it as a clutch instead of a bouquet - we are having a lil chapel wedding and then going to a theme park after for the "reception" so i'll wear it in the cool crossbody fashion then. i didn't do a lot of wedding research but i did see a bridesmaid pack with a bunch of clutches instead of flowers and was like OMG. it's gonna be real low key and fun so i thought the smiley face was perfect!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AB5Y7DY/ref=twister_B01AB5Y7DO?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
i almost got this one instead. so shiny.
i'll send you a pic when it all goes down if you want. june 20th!
I bought this because I knew I would be gifting, but any Neopets Trading Card Fun Pak should get it for you! You're mainly looking for something that says Virtual Prize Code on it! The Neopets Trading Card Fun Paks only run about 5 dollars though or you could buy a code off someone on Ebay for 5 dollars. I preferred to go with the pak option because then I'd have some cards to keep!
Ooh, books! Right now I'm reading "A Novel Approach" to prepare to re-structure a unit coming up with my students. I'm presently looking forward to the latest D&D campaign guide, though... :)

Gifting : Codestones, wishlist items, dubloons and tea to celebrate achieving one of the more difficult/expensive RIC items I need!
Seeking: NC Wishlist is here and my tea wishlist. If you'd like to trade for any of those tea NC items I'd be THRILLED.
I really enjoyed Samurai Champloo when my friends were trying to get me into anime. I'm still not into anime, but the theme song to Samaurai Champloo still make me smile. It's a really great story with some kickass music.

Hope you have a fantastic time in Thailand! I've known a few people who've went there and loved it.
In terms of a backpack, may I recommend one from Osprey? I have the Talon (22L) and it fits under the seats in airplanes and has lasted through many, MANY trips. Highly recommend anything from that company!
Travel safe! Its been years since I didn't check neo in the airport, though, that would be weird for me.
And good luck researching baby stuff. I bought one of these things for a baby shower and man, it was ADORABLE.
Because everyone else said plushies or neocash cards (which I think is boring. its just a gift card...). You could always try the neopet trading cards. You can find them on Amazon for less than $10. It might be a fun way to add a bit of Neopets while still being able to give them other things.
Or if you really want to feed into our nostalgia bone, you can always try to find one of these tomogachi type things.
Neopets is kind of past its heyday so finding great merchandise can be sort of hit or miss but like everyone else said, there's always Ebay (or Amazon has some neopet plushies) and gift cards to fall back on.
I don't know about a fifth, but I think that's a fairly strong list - Aishas have been my favourites since I got an Aisha Pocket Neopet and then opened an account. My first account, I had an Aisha, a Pteri, a Tonu (I won a Tonu Pocket Neopet in some competition), and a Lupe, so I have a fairly soft spot for all of them... just not a soft enough spot to actually get one of the last three.
My roommate has one of these and it's quite nice. Not sure what price cap you have, but Blue makes a lot of pretty good ones.
I got them a few months ago from amazon. I'm pretty sure these were the items: [here] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00127WBE8/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and [here] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00551CJF8/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Each pack comes with one virtual prize code
