If you tend to buy a lot of posters at shows, but don't have the wall space or money to hang them, I recommend getting an art portfolio to keep them in. Keeps them flat, and it's easy to flip through. I have one full of prints, including one for every NIN show I've been to.

Which amazon (IE country?)? I've been watching the US store but only see it available from 3rd party sellers?

I'd like to get one from them, since I'm hoping they know how to ship w/o damage.

Sennheiser makes some of the better quality in-ear headphones around.

If you are interested in using the same headphones used by the original mix engineers, and don't mind wearing bulky headsets, then the Sony
MDR-7506
is for you.

Here's what I'm running:

Table: Technics SL-1200 MK 2 (with KAB Fluid Damper mod)

Cartridge: Audio Technica AT-440MLA

Soundstage: Harmon Kardon 730 "Twin Powered"

Speakers: custom cabinets with drivers from PAS, a company known for quality recording studio monitors.

Overall very happy with the way the system play together. I'm really looking forward to spinning a high-quality pressing of The Fragile in the near future.

Oh, this is off the Director’s Label DVD for Mark Romanek. Which also features the video and commentary (from Trent and Mark) for The Perfect Drug.

I have all 7 of these discs, and they were hands down my favourite collection of music DVDs for years. I still have them, but haven’t played them for a long time. Feels like it’s about time to give them another run (if my DVD player hasn’t seized up through lack of use).

I got most of the rarer ones from sellers through Amazon, looked for the vendors with the best customer feedback, got lucky and found some for decent prices that were in near perfect condition (Still was actually unopened). My And All That Could Have Been DVD is coming from one of these same sellers, but won't be here for a week or so. For example, here's the page for vendors selling Still, but check the condition descriptions before buying, don't want to end up with a scratched up copy.

** I guess I should also point out that deals come and go, so if they don't have a good copy of what you're looking for at the moment for the right price, check back regularly.

There is nothing official. There was a decent one about the rise of industrial a few years ago; but nothing groundbreaking...in fact I found it more interesting for all the other non-nin stuff.

Reznor & Ross are being featured in a new documentary about film scores https://www.score-movie.com/ it's available for pre-order through itunes.

Not necessarily.

There was a series of books "in conversation" with film directors.

Example: Lynch on Lynch

Excellent format, really.

I wasn't sure on the quality, my bf selected those when we started building our computer. I know he knows more about the specs on most stuff, so I left it to him. Those seem like decent ones as well. The main result that came up when I searched was a pewdiepie edition though, lol. Not sure what that was about. I wish I could use my speakers as much. Those were a disappointment from Logitech though. One started going out a few months ago, and a second is slowly joining it. We don't play anything loud enough to bust them though, idk.

> It would be sweet if I could find an album cabinet that stores everything and has a record player and speakers built in.

You're not going to find that (unless it's something massive like a 70's era console TV) because as soon as the volume is turned up, the needle will start jumping.

  • edit I stand corrected. No idea about the quality, but it is available (along with plenty of other turntables for around $100.
