Plumber here. The auger you linked to isn't the worst option to have as a homeowner, but there's definitely better out there. What I use is this guy. It's 6' as opposed to 3', which means that if the blockage happens to be just past the toilet itself the auger will still be able to reach it. It's a much sturdier product, and these types of augers are not meant to be used gently, so having that added degree of sturdiness is a huge plus. Also, while it might seem trivial, being able to snap the end of the auger into the handle is extremely convenient so you don't have a sewage covered cable just dangling free. At about $50 it's more expensive than the $5 auger, but it's well worth it, and even at $50 that's a lot better than the ~$150 dollars a plumber will usually charge (depending on your location/company) to use that exact piece of equipment.
I actually just epoxy painted my bathroom floor. It turned out great and was incredibly cheap. Love the stuff

/r/fountainpens is neat but be aware you will not be able to do this kind of writing with a fountain pen. You also won't be able to do what many people think of "calligraphy" (german style lettering that has thick and thin parts) with a fountain pen.
If dip pens are a little scary for a beginner, try getting the Pilot Parallel calligraphy pen. Very simple like a fountain pen, dead cheap and you'll be able to do lots of calligraphy with them.
However, dip pens are super cheap and fun to play with. You can get a nice nib, nib holder and ink for $20 on Amazon. Calligraphy is a very cheap hobby to get into.
These are my favorite, each scent is really different and fun to try.
These are the backflow ones I use (like the video) and have some strong, distinct scents as well, though I prefer the first ones.

The resonance makes the pattern start and end with them in the same point every 8 earth years/13 venus years, after which it repeats. 8 years from today, Earth and Venus will be in the same spots relative to the sun as they are right now. If they weren't resonant, that wouldn't happen.

I bought last week a good quality heavy DE razor (Amazon Link), Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving cream (Link), 50 Astra Platinum blades, 50 Gillette Platinum blades, a 6-7$ shaving brush and a nice wooden shaving bowl.
Im at my fourth shave and I still didn't cut myself. You just need to prep-work your skin with a hot towel or a shower. I don't know about the shaving cream since I'm a beginner but I watched a lot of tutorial on YouTube to build a good lather. My first lather was shitty, but my second was already better.
One double edge blade is 10 cents. If you change your blade every two shaves, it will cost you approx. 10$ in blades for an entire year.
I don't know why I waited so long before making the switch.

So, in case it's helpful... I used the auger incorrectly on my first attempt. I tried to extend it all the way before putting it into the toilet. Insert joke about a limp noodle.
The proper way to do it is to pull the auger's handle back so that the auger retracts into the casing. Then position the case inside the toilet, and push on the handle. That causes the snake to follow the pipe nicely.
You were probably doing that, but I wasn't sure. Also a plumber further down this thread recommended this bad boy which is 6ft long. It's $50 though.
Someone else recommended a drain bladder too, which seems equally effective. $20
I like the one with the leather handle, available in the UK too!
