First, I started with this book, and recommend it to everyone who is planning a wedding. It kept me so organized, and I bought the hardcover binder so I could take out pages I didn't need and add hole punched pages from Excel or Word, magazines, whatever. I kept all my contracts in there and correspondence.

I had a caterer that included tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkin, cutlery, and glasses, along with the food. That helped a ton. They also had a bar that I paid for because I couldn't have a wedding without an open bar on principal.

I got a DJ, officiant, photographer, cake maker, and day of coordinator. That's all you need if your caterer can do all that other stuff. If you ask, those companies have lists of other vendors they recommend so you don't have to go into this extensive online search. You just look through their lists and see who clicks for you.

For flowers, I looked up a wholesale flower warehouse locally, and ordered a shitload of flowers. It was so cheap. I got them the morning of. My centerpieces were vases and jars and I just had someone assigned to stick that shit in there the day of. It was very minimalist and very pretty. Just find a picture online of a centerpiece you like and stick to it, don't try to go crazy. I made my bouquets and boutonniere's out of paper flowers, which I do not recommend unless you like folding paper for hours on end every night for months. It was pretty, but 0/10 would recommend.

I recommend going to Home Depot and going to the paint section, and pulling coordinating swatches for color inspirations. This helped me greatly when picking flowers and decorations and bridesmaids dresses.

When you ask people for help, get everyone's contact info and ask what day works for everyone, and say, "This is the day we're meeting. See you then." Provide drinks. They will help you do anything for drinks. Same goes for coordinating when you're picking out bridesmaids dresses and whatnot. Just plan it yourself, don't let other people try to figure it out.

I signed up for Wedding Paper Diva's mailing list, and googled coupon codes, and saved a ton of money. I know it's expensive, but I bought save-the-dates, invitations, RSVPs, and thank you cards all at the same time. It was just easier not to worry about it.

Other miscellany you need will be included in that wedding binder link, such as rings, cake utensils, what gifts to give who, etc. The only thing I forgot the day of was pins to put the boutonnieres on the men lol. Somebody found some, so it worked out.

I know this is a lot, but I hope it helps you. Also, check out r/weddingplanning. They're awesome over there.

If this is your first programming language its a tad unfortunate that it has to be C++ but by no means does it mean it is bad or anything. In fact its the language most aspiring computer scientists started out with in college prior to the 2000s.

You can start off with
Programming: Principles and Practice Using C++
and then going onto The C++ Programming Language, 4th Edition after completing the first one. There is also C++ Primer that is also highly recommended as another book for starting out.

A book along with web searches when you have questions will get you pretty far. Having someone to ask questions if you get stuck on something conceptually is also useful. The best advice I can give you is to really play around with the language as you are learning and do most of the practice exercises too. Stroustrup also has solutions to the exercises from the first book I mentioned online. Hopefully you have some months available to learn the language. On top of that you might need to learn some computer science topics like data structures as well. You just can't rush these things but you can accelerate it a little.

As for me, my C++ knowledge is 'rusting away' by the day. I learned the STL with C++ when it was made official only a couple years after (like over 10 years ago). Nowadays you have Boost and the language itself has changed. I have not presently needed to update my C++ knowledge to what is latest and greatest but I shall.

Also worth pointing out is that In my experience, when you work with different companies you might find that you never use official C++ libraries and most current language features, but you are supporting legacy stuff that was first written maybe 20 years ago when not even built-in STL was available. This means either you are going to use some now-arcane implementation of someone's version of base libraries or the company rolled their own from the ground up many years ago, and because its so well entrenched in the code-base it continues to be used many years later. Not a big deal, but you might want to find that out for yourself, that if you are learning the latest and greatest of library and language features - you might or might not be using it in practice with your company.

You can PM me if you have questions but I'm not sure I can commit the amount of time you might need in a tutor role.

I paddle a good bit. I'd strongly recommend buying the book in the link below. It's $13 but is an excellent jumping off point and well worth the money at twice the price. There's also the state paddling trails but I refer to the book more often than I do that website. You'll exponentially enjoy your time on the water if you set up shuttles for rivers(i.e. a friend).

My SO gets hot very quickly and would love to keep the A/C at 70-71, but for the last two summers she has been spot cooling with one of these and it's worked out -very- well. Like I can bump it to 76. She rarely needs to use the high setting and doesn't need to recharge it that often. Great to take to the theme parks too. Don't forget to keep those blinds closed and don't use the oven!

Penzey Spices, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, World Market.

Last time I bought some, I had a coupon for World Market and it was the best price of the places above.

For a less expensive option, you could try Spice House of Longwood, Spice Bazaar, or a mexican grocery, but I can't say I know those all too well.

Amazon seems like a great deal. I might buy some to make extracts for gifts.

Do you have Amazon Prime? If so there are lots of magnetic sweepers with free delivery by Sunday. Amazon has a pretty generous return policy, so you can easily pack it back up it ship it back for a refund.

My wife had to go DF for a lonnnnnng time while nursing our daughter.
I see a lot of great recommendations here, just throwing out one more that you can find in your grocer's freezer.
I tried it a few times as well, surprisingly good!
Side note, unrelated...Ben and Jerry's dairy free ice cream is AMAZING.

If you're comfortable ordering online check out "zinus" brand on Amazon. Super cheap and really comfortable mattress IMO.

Hope you get started, not near you unfortunately. However, I'd really recommend you pick up a booster pack like this one: https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GB40-UltraSafe-Lithium-Starter/dp/B015TKUPIC

I have one and, since I drive old... er classic cars, it's been a lifesaver.

One good and easy step you can take is to pick up one of these modems Amazon Link you will save $5 every month for no modem rental charges through Brighthouse and you will notice that your internet speed is much more consistent. I switched about 6 months ago and it has made a huge difference, like youtube videos will actually stream and not buffer over a 20MB/s connection. Reset counts on the Motorola modem: 0.

Google Video Quality Report basically verifies what you are experiencing in terms of speed fluctuations.

I recommend not even going to any of those places. I bought a queen-sized memory foam mattress on Amazon a year or two ago for about $300 shipped. Here's a link to the best reviewed mattress on Amazon. You can narrow it down from there.

Edit: Here's the bed I bought.

An inverter is a type of generator. This article explains it better than I ever could.

They’re a little more expensive than a regular generator, but worth it in my opinion. I bought this one last year and it was excellent.

Don't have a tl;dr but if you want to read what Florida was like when we were first settling it, this book is pretty good. It's old newspaper/magazine articles from late 1800s.

(Tip: if an article is boring, skip it; there's a lot of amazing articles but also some very tedious ones. IMO the front half has a lot of these boring bits... but what can you do.)

Nobody can teach you modern c++ better than Stroustrup's book: The C++ Programming Language, 4th Edition

Your modem is quite old at this point. You should consider upgrading, as it will probably fix the problem.

I bought this and it works flawlessly.
