Im not sure about fixing it, but there are cheap solutions. These things are usually pretty cheap, so the built in ones don't usually work very well. This is a [USB Bluetooth adapter] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009ZIILLI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_IA6EAbRXS8BC2). This should work with the USB 2.0 ports (if you don't know what that is there a diagram on the Amazon page describing the difference between 2.0 and 3.0) its a really good cheap solution. If you want something more expensive, robust, or integrated with the computer, you can get a [pci express WiFi and Bluetooth adapter] (https://m.newegg.com/products/9SIADMA6PJ9673?ignorebbr=true&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-Mobile&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-Mobile-_-pla-_-Accessories+-+Controller+cards+Add-on+cards+Ect-_-9SIADMA6PJ9673&gclid=CjwKCAiA5OrTBRBlEiwAXXhT6PHVh-zsxy6DehfXXqUbfYiNG1dR8oxkR9aHE_7-JabYYPkcwIlO-xoCbzgQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds). As is with this one, most Bluetooth cards that are pci express are a WiFi card that comes with Bluetooth. No garuntee that it's a higher quality (I assume it is). You can find these by searching "pci express Bluetooth". I would only suggest getting this if either you have installed these things before or if someone you know is willing to help you, but it's just like installing a graphics card, but usually without the power cables. There's nothing wrong with the dongle though

Plenty out there to be honest, I bought mine off Amazon...

Really depends on what colour you want, how long you want them, whether you want dedicated power to them or motherboard / PSU connected ( to power them ), also depends on how bright you want them to be inside.

Also depends on your budget, you can get some pretty cheap ones or get some very expensive ones.

There are different brightness variants, static colours, rotating colours, remote controls etc

like these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ubanner-Flexible-Computer-Lighting-Magnetic/dp/B07B3MXLFF/ref=sr_1_7?crid=WNZNXMAAKIQJ&keywords=pc+led+strips+lights&qid=1570115383&sprefix=pc+led%2Caps%2C139&sr=8-7

are pretty cheap.. you just stick them where you want in PC, sticky strip on back you peel off and place them, connect wire to a " molex " connector.

These ones : https://www.amazon.co.uk/WOWLED-Gaming-Lights-Strips-Lighting/dp/B07GNHS83P/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=WNZNXMAAKIQJ&keywords=pc+led+strips+lights&qid=1570115681&sprefix=pc+led%2Caps%2C139&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzVUtCQklSRzk0T0k5JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwOTM1NzM5TUFJT1hXRjJDOUdRJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA3NDYxMjAzSDFSOVJGR1RORTEyJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

Come with a connection which goes direct to your motherboard RGB connection.

I'd buy some cheap ones first and have a play around, if they are not suited to your needs at least you had a little practice for a cheap cost, you can then buy something more suitable / expensive if you need..

Hey MrSpazomo! Thanks for the reply and things to check! I did try to provide as much information as possible at the time :) I'll answer as many as I can now, and will come back to you on the cabling.

----

  1. I would want to believe that I did, but I can't be certain. I'll come back to you on this one. Where would it be, out of curiosity, or would it be obvious?

  2. I ordered this ARCTIC MX-2 Paste and used it, perhaps I should try cleaning and re-applying it (if I can find it again...)

  3. Is there any recommended Cooler I should look into for this Chip?

  4. I have Bitdefender Total Security installed, but I don't have Malwarebytes. I'll install it and see what it finds.

  5. I'm almost certain I made sure they were all secured & tight, but I'll check again as you can never be too sure.

  6. I did tighten it quite a bit, perhaps this is my issue. When I re-apply the paste I'll try leaving a bit looser.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out!

Did you try this with a different set of mouse & keyboard, and try to check drivers in device manager, if any caution triangle symbol ⚠️, right click on it and try to update drivers, if it says where to get drivers just say search automatically. After successfull updates restart PC and try with the old peripherals. If works great but If problem still persists then it might be one of the following :

  1. Faulty drivers, Format OS.

  2. problem with keyboard and mouse, replace them if they have warranty or buy Logitech everything.
    Best keyboard - https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/gaming-keyboards/g512-mechanical-gaming-keyboard.html#920-008722

Take the linear keys version is the best.
    Best mouse -
    https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Advanced-Sensor-Competitive/dp/B01JPOLLTK

Best mouse and they both are RGB.

  3. Motherboard needs a CMOS reset and everything might work fine.

  4. last ditch effort, replace motherboard.

Let me know how it goes.

im not the best these types of things but this is from my knowledge.

the problem is the graphics card, as you said you have a 'NVIDIA 620 Graphics Card' which is a GT card and is old and quite bad card... i would recommend buy a new card of the GTX variety, it depends on how much you are willing to spend on a new GPU but as you said ' I purchased Farcry 3, and I can barely run it on the lowest resolution and low graphics ' if you want to play FARCRY 3, i would recommend a GTX 650 which will allow you to run the game at about Min-16 Max-29 Average-23 ( taken from a GTX 650 test video on FC3 ) if you want maybe a better FPS / GPU then i would go for any higher graphics card like a GTX 660 (i previously had the GTX 660 TI SC) , GTX 670, GTX 680 (currently have GTX 680 SC) etc

i hope this helped and i understand that it was a easy 'get a better GPU' answer but since you said you dont know much, i wanted you to know why you need a new graphics card

Wow I'd really appreciate that! Here's the amazon link for the desktop. I'm glad you found the video useful. Please let me know what you find out. Thanks.

this is the best i can find but let me know when you finish the pcpartpicker because i can definitely try and tweak things so everything can fit your budget (this case is cheap and it needs more fans because there is one)

I think I found a better one with dedicated graphics, GeForce MX 150 (somewhat powerful GPU! About the same performance as a GT 1030, has 2gb GDDR5 vram), so the 8GB ram fully available.

It's refurbished though. $469

About on par with the ryzen 3500u: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-8250U-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-3500U/m338266vsm760067

This is the laptop, powerful intel i5 + modern MX 150 graphics, you should get for unity dev and programming.

This is a great ssd for the price and it is ony 20$. But if you have like 20$ more it is never a bad thing to buy a ssd with more storage.

Ome question what did you mean with being scammed?

Oh ya also i would reccomend pc partpicker, go over to the site and select what type of hardware you plan to use. The site will then look true every thing to see if it will work. If your having trouble with this let me know i will help you furter.

Hope this helps you out

Okay, look at my setup here:

https://imgur.com/a/yofxXo5

The first photo is a picture of a DVI to Displayport adapter see this link for product specifications from amazon and if you want to buy:

https://www.amazon.ca/StarTech-com-DisplayPort-DVI-Adapter-Passive/dp/B0035PS57C

the second photo is a picture of a cable that doesnt have an adapter, as its built in the cable itself. A Male-To-Male DVI to HDMI cable. Makes things easier not having to deal with adapters:

https://www.amazon.ca/DVI-HDMI-Cable-10-ft/dp/B000V1PB02

Just remember that there are limitations everytime you change the "default" output / inputs of your monitors if you don't use the ones intended for. For example, the DVI to displayport only allows resolution up to 1980x1080 (the one I purchased at least) I am sure there are other ones which better resolutions but the price you pay also will go up.

If you dont care about resolutions, etc then pick either one ;)

Good luck

I played Wow a lot back in the day, and I can state something that was accurate then. Nvidia cards suck with Wow. I had a card twice as good as the recommend, and I couldn't top 30 fps on min settings.

This was one of the reasons I switched to Radeon cards, and have never gone back. I'm not sure if these issues were solved, but by the looks of your question they aren't.

By comparison, when I went back to Wow for a few months last year (my brother suckered me back in for a bit), my current card a Radeon HD 7770 Ghz edition made by Diamond was netting me well over 100 fps in cities and 140 in the world, on high settings.

I locked the framerate at 60 (to avoid screen tearing), and pumped everything up to max and never saw a drop off at all.

This is the card I have by the way: http://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Multimedia-Radeon-Edition-Graphics/dp/B007FPITV0

First of all, it is.

LG 25UM58 25 inch Ultrawide IPS Monitor (2560 x 1080, HDMI, 250 cd/m2, 5ms) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01BV1XB2K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_gQ-6CbK9H9VSB

Second of all, it is non-modular, and

Third of all, I tried it on my secondary display and it still didn’t work.

Thanks for the tips though. If you have any more, please try and help me! :)

You can use something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J4XNLN6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ... make sure you have USB 3 on the new computer, there is a USB 2 option as well.

That said, I would recommend uploading the pictures to something like google photos (private account) so that they're "safer" than just sitting on your drive.

The slowing performance is thermal throttling, the CPU gets too hot and scales speed and power to cool.

It does sound like either your fan is faulty or the thermal paste s worn out, 2 likely scenarios, both easily remedied, when the system is running have a look at the fan, if it's spinning freely and fast it's probably fine and it's the thermal paste, if the fan is slow and seems jerky possibly the fan, if it's not spinning then it's dead.

If it's thermal paste your going to have to change it, if you have no expertise it's a little unnerving, but a simple task.

Hey ! I was in the same issue, and used this adapter instead of repairing Ethernet Port or installing a separate LAN card. One can use this with Laptop as well.Works like a charm

I would imagine it would all go in but it's hard to check that the motherboard is a standard size as it is an OEM board.

Also, could I suggest this case, simply because its a similar aesthetic but with better airflow.
