This is the only power supply I have found that doesn't report undervoltage on the Raspberry Pi. It is a great fit for the PINE64:

I use these cards since they max out the bus speed and are cheap:

What? Why would you use a USB3->SATA adapter? The NAS case is meant for people connecting SATA based drives with the use of a PCIe controller card.
If you want to connect up a straight NVMe drive you'll need to buy a separate PCIe->NVMe adapter and work that out on your own.
If you're simply interested in just having an NVMe drive consider the NanoPC-T4. It's slightly more expensive due to the builtin wifi and 16GB onboard eMMC (no SD card needed), but the NVMe SSD will then mount smartly to the bottom of the board without hassle.

FYI, here is the adapter I'm using now:

So...I have the board booting. Yay. Had a few variables though, so not sure what did it. First is the new power supply, second is that I switched to using Android image "android_20160112.img". I did try booting with the new power supply and the other Android image, "sun50iw1p1_android_db1000_uart0_0216.img" and I don't think it was working. So my best guess is that the issue is the Android image...not 100% on that, but that's my working theory.
I would assume the one pine64 sells is compatible, but the one I got was defective so I can't speak to that, but I do know of an alternative. I picked up the below card instead which works great with the vanilla armbian build for the RockPro64 which I installed OpenMediaBox on top of.
SHINESTAR SATA Card 4 Port with... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KNXZFRH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The pro to this card is you get 4 Sata ports vs 2 on the card that pine64 sells, so in my NAS enclosure I have 2x 3.5" platter disks and 2x 2.5" SSDs which I power off the RockPro64 with the power splitter that shipped with the Sata card.
Update: I ordered this adapter and it seems to be working!

Thanks!
The sd card should be good, it's this one - Class 10 UHS-I.
this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NZSBQ5S
it worked out of the box, it has a marvel 9215 chipset.
Agreed, MicroSD was the first thing also to come to mind. I'm using this one and it's only $10

I ordered my power supply with the device so I can't help you there, but I ordered the following memory card from Amazon and I haven't had any issues.
Transcend 32GB MicroSDHC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card with Adapter Up to 60MB/s (TS32GUSDU1PE)
What micro SD card are you using? Have you tried a couple different ones? I haven't tried any others yet - but maybe it's just down to micro SD card incompatibility. I am currently using this one: http://amzn.com/B00W77CIZ4
I ended up going with this one.
Was a little more than I wanted to pay, but I figure I wont need a new one for a while. Still not sure on my power supply, will test out a couple I have.
