The part is called the rear glass panel and this fix is something you can totally do yourself. Luckily, the rear glass panel is applied with some adhesive onto the already closed phone so you don't need to open up the pixel 2 to replace it. A heat gun will help in melting the adhesive and removing the glass. I did this repair myself recently and I've never done anything like this on my phone so if I can do it then anyone can.

Neat, I didn't even realize such things existed. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work for you.

Though if your stereo has a miniplug aux in, I'd highly recommend going that route instead — I've had great luck with my Taotronics Bluetooth Receiver.

I see they became Amazon Choice in the meantime. They just seemed good at the time, I'm pretty happy with these. They're definitely nothing special.

The reviews look great and it sounds like everyone is happy with the built in screen protector, and it's supposed to be thin too. And $20 might be hard to beat.

I always use a glass screen protector. It has saved my Pixel 2's screen once before. I use a spigen glass screen protector.

It's not the best, but it is pretty cheap and gets the job done. If I'm paying for an expensive phone, might as well protect it right?

Get the aukey Bluetooth Fm transmitter. Works great and it's pretty inexpensive.

I purchased a Bluetooth FM transmitter for my car awhile back and it's usable. I'm not an audiophile, and if you're not too concerned about audio quality it's pretty nice. My father had borrowed my car for two weeks awhile back and really liked it, considering what it was. After the first week I mentioned it sort of cuts out some of the highs and lows and he was then able to notice it. Audiobooks and podcasts on he other hand sound just fine.

I've been using the Spigen screen protector for about 4 months now and it's held up great.

Shit myself and my fiance both have the Spigen case with the screen protector that is tempered glass the same company makes to fit within the edges of the case. We've had them about 6 months now with no issues also they're squeezable for Google assistant :')

The way it charges is odd. There's no reliable way to see the actual wattage/amp via apps like ampere, because something involving the screen being on.

And apparently the way pixel 2s charge, they sort of "ramp up" slower at first, then faster or something.

I did alot od research for a proper car charger that supports this new "power delivery" standard via type C.
