https://www.amazon.com/Capezio-Womens-Canvas-Juliet-Ballet/dp/B000ACQQYW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1525558858&sr=8-3&keywords=capezio+ballet+shoes+for+women&dpID=417OafYL3vL&preST=_SY395_QL70_&dpSrc=srch Juliet! I LOVE these shoes. I've had so many pairs. I did pole barefoot for a few weeks and it just felt sooooo odd to me, the second I put on my slippers I felt so much more confident and comfortable.

I use a safety razor and I absolutely love it. It does have a little learning curve because I was used to pressing down hard on Venus razors since I rarely had a sharp, new blade on because they are so damn expensive. But seriously, the $30 razor and 0.50 refill blades are totally worth it in my opinion. Just let the weight of the razor glide across your skin and use a good shaving cream or gel. You can even use the kind they make for men that use safety razors.

I would avoid applying something like deodorant before pole dancing because that could affect your thigh grip. I will sometime moisturize with coconut oil after shaving but only a little and never on a pole day.

This is the razor I use and I like how it fits in my smallish hands. The price has gone up since I got mine but on Amazon it will fluctuate.

I keep mine in my pleaser shoe bag with the little cloth coverings along with my grip and knee pads.

I'm trying to find one that is appropriately sized because the one i got is way too big for what i need, but you can find gym bags with shoe pockets on Amazon.

This is what i got, but like i said, way too big for my needs. I was able to fit my pleasers, grip, knee pads, elbow wraps, and extra set of pole wear and it barely filled up a quarter of the bag. So maybe half that size at least, but it's a start.

Here's your ladies on Amazon

The key here is that they are platforms. For me, regular heels are MUCH more difficult to walk in. This was my first pair of dancing shoes. The strap keeps them on and the plastic can actually help you climb and grip. I've owned 3 pairs. I've not known 'stripper shoes' to come in 1/2 sizes. In other shoes I bounce between an 8-8.5. The first pair of these shoes I bought a 9. They fit much more comfortably at first. The 8 felt pretty darn tight. The 9 was a mistake. The plastic on these stretches as they warm up. When the 9s became warm my foot would slip down and toes would start to creep over the end and feel all around unstable.

My rule of thumb on these shoes is this; if it's comfortable brand new then it's too big. If it's tight and I want to break them in a little quicker I use a blow dryer to speed the stretching process.

So I had the same problem. I tried everything from methylated spirits to dish soap. You know what worked? Vinegar and baking soda!!! I got the Meyers clean day vinegar gel and wiped down the pole and then used the baking soda cream cleaner on top of it. Then I cleaned that all off with a wet rag and finally, gave it a wipe down with alcohol. The difference was night and day!

Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Cream Cleaner, Lemon Verbena, 12 Oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D2T3NYA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_X22kDbFQS1T6A

Mrs Meyer's, Cleaner Vinegar No Rinse Lemon Verbena, 12 Fl Oz (Pack - 1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D2T3OQC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_G42kDb8JGJT0R

I’m sure plain old baking soda and vinegar would work as well, but these products made it a lot easier!

You need to work on your grip strength. I have this one but it's pretty heavy-duty and you can get ones that are a little easier.

How far away is your comp?

I use a camellia essence body lotion from the Korean beauty counter in my local Korean beauty store. It works wonders!
Here is a link for Amazon.

These are not super cute, but I've worn them regularly for almost 3 years and they're still in great shape and super comfy.

Not flats, but potentially helpful: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001I1P39I

Just enough heel to get good spin on, low enough to help recovery. I used these for the first few months of dancing before graduating to my 8in.

I have these: https://www.amazon.com/Pleaser-Womens-Sky308-Platform-Sandal/dp/B00HE7KDUE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1481839038&sr=8-2&keywords=pleasers

I got them in a size 7 because that's normally good for me and they fit perfectly! A little tight at the beginning like they say it will be but they stretched out easily to my foot.

Took a while to find them in my Amazon order history😂 they're great though I never pole without them!

Right now these are my favorite - 27" over the knee. I look and feel super sexy in them and always get compliments. I'm 5'4" and they go over the knee a bit snug but I have thick thighs anyway. They loosen a little bit the more you wear so I don't mind them tight around my thighs. Plus, it's on Amazon!

u/fibonaccicolours · 2 pointsr/poledancing

I am a 3X and I got these from Amazon and they're great, especially for the price. The fabric is a little thin, but not seethrough and nothing to worry about, they just may not last as long. My absolute favorite pole shorts though are swimsuit bottoms from Torrid.

You can buy a thing called a "grip stengthener" off Amazon for a couple of quid. I got one a little while back and it has made a huge difference to my grip. Here's a link to a random one so you can see what they look like :)

I haven't had any personal experience with these (as the bruises on my inner thighs can currently attest), but I was looking on Amazon for some pole shorts yesterday and I came across these thigh protectors. Like I said, I don't how good these actually are, but they might be helpful.

Mister Clean Magic Erasers might work. Or just the generic https://www.amazon.com/Baoer-100Pcs-Melamine-Cleaning-10x6x2CM/dp/B00XC32NMK

Just be sure to go easy on the area around the ring or you'll take the paint off.

I use SCINIC Honey All in One Ampoule . I've literally taken a shower, shaved, put this on and went straight to class a half hour later and been able to grip just fine! It stinks into the skin wonderfully.
