Best idea I have so far (and just thought about it after my post) is to get a Car headrest VESA mount and attach a VESA laptop tray to it. Not cheap but should be more sturdy than the plastic fantastic...

Guys, I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071X7C4TB/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm not a big guy (5'11" 157lbs) and my arms kept falling off the sides, so unless you are a side sleeper or level the area around this particular mattress, your arms will sag off the sides.

So I then went and bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018APB3TI/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And found it to be so much better in terms of my arms being able to rest at my sides...but even more how much more lower back support I was given vs that of the tri-fold. The tri-fold felt like it was actually straining my back due to lack of support so I had to put my https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014AQ90A0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 under it, and that only marginally helped.

So I'm ditching the tri-fold.

Yeah, I would say then that this might be sufficient: https://www.amazon.com/Loraffe-Repellent-Ultrasonic-Deterrent-Protection/dp/B07LCKBGY8/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=car+mouse+repellent&qid=1563814782&s=gateway&sr=8-3 in addition to wire meshing, rat tape, and some chemical deterrents sprayed all over.

https://snag.gy/06gvao.jpg - this should be stealth (it's both ultrasonic and a strobe light). That with meshing the 5+1 areas in the front hood (under the cowl - there are 5 holes, one of which I believe is the cabin air filter entry, then the 6th one is that opening above the front passenger wheel area in the front hood area - and either the galvanized stainlees steel mesh or foam can cover that up).

I updated the post I sent to you with some new links.

Look for Army sleeping bag, it's cheap and I've been using mine for over 6 years.

My solar charge controller has an out that you can connect to your starter battery along with your house battery. Once your house battery hits 90% full, it will direct some power to charge your starter battery too. https://www.amazon.com/SB3000i-Solar-Boost-Charge-Controller/dp/B076MQM7PW/ref=mp_s_a_1_26?ie=UTF8&qid=1538432610&sr=8-26&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=solar+charge+controller

you need some sort of forced air ventilation, like one of those car window ventilators that's modified to plug in rather than run off solar (and actually has a decent fan..) https://www.amazon.com/TUZECH-Ventilation-Fan-Automobile-Automotive-Circulation/dp/B07KR2XWC9/

Personally I'm thinking about buying some screens + rain guards for the front windows (backseat windows have reflectix over them) and cracking the windows but idk how to do it. And those screens seem mad expensive
