That being said, it looks like there is definitely some dachshund in there. My wife and I did a Wisdom Panel on our little mix. It gave us some insight!
Furminator is okay, but an undercoat rake like this is what a groomer would use, and will do much better to not damage the topcoat. I use one on my aussie and he loves it.
Get a slow feeder bowl for your friendo and give lik .85 of normal foods if need a reduce depending upon situations friendo. Help them do a savor and no tummy grumble bleh.
Bonus if youa big save shop with the amazon smile and do a donate to the pupper and animol need a help with the hurricanes. (not paid/meant as advert just mind as well halp the animol while maek your happy).

Nearly every dog can benefit from a slicker brush, unless you have something with hardly any hair like a boxer or pit. It helps detangle longer hair as well as getting out undercoat in double coated dogs, very useful.

Sometimes we just put a few treats in it, sometimes put part of his dinner in it, which keeps him busy for awhile
We also do a lot of trick training, and have recently started doing "find it." Started out by just tossing a treat on the ground near him and say find it. Then progress to having him sit and stay, and hide a treat somewhere just out of sight, then "okay" to release the stay and tell him find it.
I mean, having owned a border collie, I rember distinctly having to secretly trash his soft frisbee every 3 months because it was torn up from playing. He didn't destroy them purposefully, he just loved them to death.
I also remember that he could smell new ones, he found and unwrapped his year's supply every Xmas morning. I miss that dog.

That thing kicks out a ton of food! I have this one and my dog loses his mind over it. He has to work pretty hard to get food out of it and he loves it. I'd like to get a soft rubber one like you have though. Which one is this? The plastic one is way too noisy for anything off carpet.

It's this gorilla. It has a hole in the bottom, similar to a kong toy. You can put treats or foods in there for the dog to try to get out. Keeps them busy for a bit. My dog loves his. Definitely looks like a bum hole.
Highly recommend Embark! The results take a while to come back, but it was totally worth the wait. There's actually some surveys and other cool things to do during this time, so it doesn't seem to take so long.

Owner of a husky here! I’ve been using the Furminator deshedding shampoo and conditioner when I give her a bath. Along with brushing every other day, the hair becomes somewhat manageable. These sheets are also a lot better than using lint rollers to get hair off your clothes and furniture. I also have this car seat cover which helps with hair in my car. Also makes it a lot easier to keep my car clean after a day at the dog beach.
Swiffer also makes a pet version of their dry sheets that attracts pet hair like a magnet. I’d vacuum everyday, but she’s afraid of the vacuum.
