We just bought a 2018 XLE. Can’t say enough good things about the weathertech mats. They are expensive but I find they make the interior so much easier to clean. Ours was a rental car so it didn’t even come with the OEM mats. They have been a standard item on all my vehicles for awhile now.

They are fairly sturdy if you get everything tightened down but I wouldn’t trust a ton of weight on them (just needs to carry a surfboard or two for me). Indistinguishable from the Toyota bars in look.

Haven't gotten my Rav4 yet, but have cleanly installed dash cams and rear reverse cameras on half a dozen cars already.

Run the USB line properly above the edge of the headliner to position the dash cam, run the line down the A-pilar trim, and route into the drivers side footwell, hiding the wire from sight. You will need to pull the fuse for cigarette lighters in the fuse box located in the driverside footwell, typically a yellow 20 amp, see diagram on the lid. Then you plug this in its place and add a fuse into the provided slot to keep all the cigarette lighters functional. That will provide you with the (+) line and just loosen a nut or bolt that's attached to anything metal in the foot well and wrap the black wire with the end stripped, around the bolt and tighten it in place, that should provide it with (-) to complete the circuit.

Zip tie up the loose wires and use larger zip ties to keep all the parts in place. Enjoy your clean installation. If that's too difficult, get a ~10ft USB cable that matches your dash cam's and run it under the headliner, A-pillar and run it though the trim and route around as best as you can to the nearest cigarette lighter with adapter or USB port and plug it. This method might work better running down the passengers side, but is the uglier messier method.

Trash Can for behind the center console. My fave because you can just reach your hand back to stick Receipts, straw wrappers, etc. without even looking.

These liners for all the cup holders, doors, storage trays are great too. Instead of having to clean all the crevices of leaky sticky drinks with crumbs stuck, they just pop out and rinse off.

You can also get a custom cut windshield shade that fits Rav specifically.

I feel like a roof mounted compartment would impact your gas mileage pretty badly, as well affect how you like the vehicle looking. I saw some tow hitch mounted solutions from my quick google search as well, but again, it would affect the looks.

In my previous car, I was pretty comfortable going to non run-flats, and just having a full tire plugging kit handy. This is exact one I have, and in the 5 years I had it to use it once with no issues.

It was worth the additional minor risk for going over to non run-flats.

I've had good luck with the strap wrench and our cars but I'll probably get a tool for this to make it easier for my brother. Does this one look like it would work? I assume the hybrid has the same size cap as the normal ones. This way in can place it where I want and not muck up my windshield with the Velcro tabs.

I use this one but on my windshield instead of the dash as some people have reported it's so sticky it can damage the dash. So far I love it and it's been working great.

Cut plywood to 38 inches x 73 inches. Fits pretty snug with the seats down and the front seats moved forward. The only disadvantage of the set up is that the front seats have to stay further forward than I usually would have them.

Originally I was going to build a 2x4 frame to prop up the bed near the trunk so everything stays level. This ended up turning into simply stacking some 2x4 pieces because I ran out of time before the trip. Honestly this worked just fine.

Then there’s a 2” mattress topper to help with comfort. This could have been thicker

This is the one I have. I paid extra to buy it from Amazon, but I wanted prime shipping and I really wanted an easy way to return it if there was a problem. 360 backup and coffee cup button work perfectly. The SYGAV also shows the individual tire pressure readings for the tpms. Others may as well. I'm not sure.

The front map lights are different bulbs than the rear seat dome light. For the dome light I used a 31mm 3175 LED and I like it. It is definitely brighter than the stock halogen.

I bought something identical to this, mounts to the mirror stalk. The one I'm using in my car is an Anker dash cam, which I bought due to the price at the time ($20), dashcamtalk forum is a good site for recommendations. I believe some still mount it next to the safety camera and just angle the lens of the dash cam as appropriate.

Philips 9005 and 9006. Much brighter than OEM. I suggest buying them online though. Auto parts stores seem to really mark them up.
