As a heads up to other, good probiotics these days are designed to survive your stomach acid so that the bacteria are spread throughout your digestive tract. Good ones also contain many strains. Yogurt and milk, for example, contain a limited number of species and those species are good at digesting dairy products, but our bodies need all sorts of bacteria. I like this one with 23 strains, though our guts can contain hundreds of different species.

Color me shocked. My brother-in-law is a pharmaceutical sales rep, in fact now he's a senior marketing executive, and politically he (and his entire family) are the most conservative, self-righteous fiscal libertarians I know. This does not seem out of line with the industry as a whole, about which I've read a fair bit.

Of all industries that are not (for the most part) criminal and are at least somewhat useful to society, pharmaceuticals is the most corrupt, self-important, self-righteous industry I know of. Profits before people?: The Ethical Standards and the Marketing of Prescription Drugs is just one good book you can read about the shit they've pulled. And if you think it's bad now, they've actually cleaned up immensely from the 90s. Back then it was straight-up six-figure legalized bribery left and right.

I had this issue with my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I fixed it by making sure all of my chargers output at 2Amps and I made sure to get 28/24 gauge cable. Also, some car usb chargers will be identified by your phone as a computer thus still limiting you to 500mA so you could look into an inverter like this one and just plug a standard wall charger into it for your car.

Lol, funny you say that as I just actually bought:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYR5F2X/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Saw the picture with it connected to a wire but still secured by the chain and knew that would be for me as I will certainly lose these things otherwise.

I've become even more pleased with my coffee by using a Phin. Add a little bit of sweetened condensed milk to the bottom of the cup before brewing. Stir it up after brewing. Ridiculously delicious every time.

Would you like a history book too? https://www.amazon.co.uk/History-Ireland-250-Episodes-Fascinating-ebook/dp/B00BQG7W4Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1521330253&sr=8-2&keywords=irish+history Stick it on your wishlist, pm me the link and I'll even pay for it for you :) I gather you can read since you're on reddit.

For anyone Interested in reading more on the subject, I highly recommend Paul Atwood's War and Empire: The American Way of Life

It can be criticized on several points, but all in all its a good thought provoking read, even if you agree with the author or not.

This?

edit: I'm reading that and just to let you folks know (because the original thread is locked), that story is fabricated! I'm not 100% certain but the whole thing sounds like it's written a bit too ‘artistically’, and then there's this part:

> My girlfriend found me in our room, curled up on bed, still crying. She was terrified that maybe someone close to us had died, as she’s never seen me let a single tear before. I had to tell her. I started telling her the story, leaving most details out, so I can get to the point quicker. As I was talking, she was getting more and more pale. She never said a word. I finished my story and she was pale as ghost, not moving. Then she asked. She asked a fucking question that honestly caused me to almost faint. She said: “This woman, did she happen, to... um, hold an orange?” I froze, she started crying like I've never seen her cry before.

The orange is a central detail. How could he tell his girlfriend the story without mentioning the orange at all? I find this very suspicious of the OP. It seems like an all-too-convenient ‘story-telling device’ that he would omit the orange and his girlfriend ask that question.

Just felt like I had to point this out because the OP claims that the story is "absolutely true".

edit #2: oops! I should have read the whole thing before commenting on it. At the bottom:

> This story has been made into a book. For ebook and paperback, please click here.

Definitely just a marketing ploy.

For anyone who's lactose intolerant, the best deal I've found for lactase enzyme pills is at Costco. They're also on Amazon, for about 12 cents/pill.

Get a Crucial MX100. I bought it a couple months ago. It's awesome. My PC boots up in about 5 seconds with Win8.

This official Nintendo controller is only 34 dollars and the cord is super long. I have one myself, it feels so nice to have a brand spanking new official GameCube controller.

It's $33. Now if you bought the game and each subsequent DLC at launch, like me, then yes over $100.

Edit: Sorry, $33 for Xbox One and $40 for PS4.

They do, and they're AWESOME. I'm a pastry chef. Do you know what 90% of pastries contain? :( Dairy. I'm not talking like muffins and bread, once they're baked the lactose doesn't bother me at all - I'm talking eclairs exploding with creme de patisserie or delicate custard tartlets, god forbid I get an order for some tres leches... quality control used to make me want to die.

Lactaid pills are the best invention ever for someone like me, who literally CANNOT avoid dairy. Take one or two (depending on your severity of intolerance/dairy % content) a few minutes before you eat and it saves you from a night of painful gas and a lot of toilet paper.
