The mount pops right out very easily if I want to change the CD and that's not very often since I usually use spotify or the radio. It has a little knob that "locks" and "unlocks" it.

Edit: Here is the mount I have. It works really nicely. Just stick the thin metal plate to the inside of your phone case or right on the back of your phone if you don't mind it being there. Also stick one of the metal plates on any other device like your GPS or tablet as well. I like it a lot better than the mounts that use the little arms to hold the phone in place since you can just slap it on there in any position without having to mess around with it. It holds it really firmly too plus the CD slot is in the perfect spot for the phone in most cases.

> Show me a "proper engineered" version for cheaper.

Sure thing. This is exponentially cheaper as it doesn't require a several thousand dollar car for its containment / support. It's also engineered much better, by real engineers, to contain and keep water warm.

> Got the degree.

Considering your demeanor, extensive comment history, and the subs you are most active on, that is extremely unlikely. Sounds like you're a mechanic or tradesman of some sort. But if it makes you feel better you're welcome to keep telling yourself that.

Nicely done. You may be interested in something like this. Possibly a little safer and probably cheaper: JobSite Original Shoe Boot Dryer - Electric Warmer - Deodorizes, Prevents Mold - Ultra Silent https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AYJKBHE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.X.LDb1102Z29

I have one of [these] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZVA3FRO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Un36Bb9FXSHQB) it's pretty nice. They have cheaper ones that aren't real wood, while I wouldn't trust the mechanism to not shit it out they still look pretty nice.

I removed the recoil for the pull start. It was 4 small bolts. If you've ever had to fix the pull rope then you've done it before.

When you get that off, you'll see that there's a nut that the recoil was turning. Find a deep well socket that fits that nut. Then you'll need something like this so that you can put the socket on the drill.

After that you just push the primer a few times and then use the drill to turn the motor clockwise until it starts. Be ready to let go of the drill. It might want to spin out of your hand.

I like to use one at the bedside. It's easier than having to sit up and drink if you're thirsty at night.

I have a reusable silicon straw like this and a 1 litre mason jar at the bedside.

That's beautiful! And it could double as a huge wort chiller :D

This is the only actual metal rocker light switch I could find. A bunch are covers that are metal for a plastic that is brushed nickel, but still plastic. This might work fine, and you get better aim!

4 for $6.99. I've got a few of these. Its things like this that help me make use of excess surplus cables, parts, etc, that I can usually get for free.

I've had this one for a couple years and I'm really pleased with it. Obviously it's not really redneck engineering, but I thought you may be interested.

Unfortunately he's right. The hole is there to be locked and tagged. You will have a hard time finding any outlet using a spring loaded ball to retain the plug - they will all use simple spring clips. Further, the operation to punch the holes and the quality issues with aligning the holes means that it's more expensive to have the hole than the teeny amount of metal saved. You know a little too much, please humble yourself. Like, how can you possibly bring up the lockout/tagout for industrial machinery that will never, ever use a NEMA 1 plug for single phase? You can even find name-brand industrial lock-out devices for $6 on Amazon that use the lockout holes to lockout the plug.

They already make combo drink holder/scorekeepers lol. Here's an amazon link, but i've seen a million variations on it growing up in the midwest.

That setup will really lower the effectiveness of that unit. If you need more cooling capacity you might want something like this. (Dual hose units are far better than single hose units)

Funnily enough, I learned not too long ago they also make adapters...

You add a float switch so the pump does not starve for water and burn up, and you got a long term solution going here.
