the first one I read was the third book in a series.
The Understatement of the Year I really liked the first 2 books so I thought I'd give it a try. Now I am hooked on them and love the steam, but if you want to ease in to that, this is a great first book! You don't need to read the first two in the series either, but they're good. It's set in college about hockey players.
